I have a naming convention for nodes. The first 3 letters are the type of node in lower case. mrg=Merge, txt=Text, etc. The rest is a description starting in upper case. E.g. mrgMainTitle
Can you make a video on fixing a time lapse? Example, My time lapse was shot wrong and is way to long. When I tried to speed it up it was at 2400x and it became very glitchy. How can I smooth that out. Reshooting the time lapse isn’t possible. Thanks are another great video.
Thanks Casey, this is great. How you navigate through complex projects, keeping a mental image of what flows into what? Is there a way to graphically and dynamically display the flow of operation across pages in Resolve? Not just open tabs but a more node/flowchart/mindmap solution to visually get a clear birds eye view showing the order of operations between all the pages, so not tabs or fusion nodes, but an overall flowchart of the entire project dynamically, without externally manually drawing it in some mind mapping software. Just to visually get an aerial view of the flow of all complex stacked embedded comps inside comps and how to plainly clearly display how they all flow into each other kind of like a dynamic mind map . Is there anything like this? I resort to writing diagrammatic notes or manually drawing out a mind map in online software, but it's so laborious. Would love to know your thoughts on this. Its an organisational thing rather than editing itself.
Thanks for the tutorial! Are there any specific rules when it comes to renaming nodes? I noticed you always use underscores instead of spaces, so I assume there's a reason. Also, I've run into issues in Fusion 16 where a custom particle build would break if I renamed the imported asset node from the default node name.
I'm having an issue with Davinci not using my Nvidia card with the new 17 update even though it recognizes it. I've tried everything suggested and nothing is working. Any tips or advice? Thanks!
Hello! It'd be cool if you can do some tutorials on making gaming montages. Some of the fortnite montages look really cool. Norcal, shill, 12th hour, etc all have great montages on their channel.
It is easy to see why Casey continues to be so EPIC ! Makes it all look and feel so easy, and that is PRO. The format is working man.
This was the Bob Ross of cleaning up a horrible node mess!
Beautiful video...oh boy...its awsome
Excellent tutorial. Thanks so much Casey.

That is so helpful!
The cure for the common spaghetti code. This is exceedingly dope, thank you.
How cool would it be if we could change the color of the nodes to make more sense in the layout?
nice informative video.....thanks Sir🙏🙏
It should be against the law to be not only cute but this organized and smart. Are you this talented with blender as well?
It makes totally sense =) Nice tutorial 👍
Cool, was going to ask you how to colour the groups, it comes up as an underlay, thanks dude
not bad

I thumbs up your vids before you even finish your first sentence. I don't do that kind of thing willy nilly you know.
Nice Nice Nice
Beautiful work Casey, is this covered in your fusion course?
👏👏👏👏👏

I'm waiting for baby shark next video.
*Disliked;* _where's the willy nilly counter?_
I wonder how many people watching this heard or know of myspace?
I like my workflow like I like my veins. Unorganized and clogged
Yikes!
