A great presentation of Buggleskelly Station weathering guide. I always loved watching OMP. Will Hay was a comic genius and a larger than life character during his career. Any of WH films are worth viewing as a great example of to comedy before the boring PC era we live in now. Cheers for sharing and I'll go and get my order finished up.
Lovely model Tom. Could you put the black wash on the posters to make them look old and dirty like the building? I would love to have the model on a plinth as an ornament. I don’t have a model railway but I’m a fan of the film and your builds.
have you used any information on the track plan of the real railway station before everything was taken away for scrap. as it doesn't appear much in the film. despite being forgotten about Buggles Kelly looks big enough for a few sidings and looks like it was once a rail connection for a stone quarry
This is a good resource, an N scale model of Cliddesden station which was the original filming location. The signal box was built for the film and the station was just a tin shed in reality, dressed up by the film crew. There were two sidings and a cattle dock. For my model I mixed reality with some film elements and added a bridge and pond which were not there in real life ngaugelightrailway.blogspot.com/p/cliddesden-railway-station-1916-1925.html
Thank you very much for creating this, I’ll be ordering a 00 one as a station on my 009 layout, Oh Mr Porter is one of my favourite films too! Are the Gladstone loco 3d prints available?
@@BuggleskellyStation Ha Ha I missed you mention them in the video to excited. Had to watch again. There are a few different poses you could have. Will Mr Postman be there and the watch summertime be included.
No, he made the Gladstone LB&SCR tender locomotive (which is a real loco), the Gladstone from Oh Mr Porter was a fictional tank engine, with the basis being a 2-4-0T Kent & East Sussex engine 'Northiam' which had the cab cut off and a tall chimney added. This is my Gladstone model: ua-cam.com/video/zl1aChOGBNA/v-deo.html
Future Tom here. The station building is now one section in OO too :)

Great stuff, excellent work Tom!
Thanks 👍
Would be great if you could 3D some figures as well.
I'm working on them next :) Using a new technique for these so modelling in clay and scanning the models - will see how it works out anyway!

@@richardswiderski4985 I'll add the broken watch of course, not sure about the Postman yet!
Look forward to them.
Tom, the Gladstone, is that the same engine that Sam made? (Sam's trains)
