The rattle you may hear is coming from the motor cord, bumping against the front metal fender. It was easily fixed with a zip tie.
more range info to come!
All summer ive studied ebike brands and narrowed down to Ecell. I just have to wait a few months to order but after your video I was so hyped on the KC I wish I could click your link to buy!! You definitely are one of the few best reviewers I've seen! Thanks!
Hey, thanks for that and good job holding off and doing your research as far as bicycle style E bikes go try is bike still absolutely takes the cake. I have yet to fully hit its limits!
Have you checked out the Wired Predator?
I have and its been on the backburner but ive decided the Ecells Monster SE. @bdub3871
Just got mine , the code makes this a lot easier to justify over the dual star
Great demonstration video of this top tier EMTB. Thanks
I own the earlier E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown which is 90% of the Kings Crown but the Kings Crown is THE best AWD EMTB on the market in both design and build quality.
Thanks! How many miles have you put on your Super?
@@Trailtested I only have 255 miles on my bike, mostly gravel roads and dirt trails. It's a dusty boy. Time to clean my chain and use a waxy lubricant that dries.
@@Trailtested I have just over 250 with 50% trail & gravel road miles on it. This bike is TOUGH! I've hit some fairly large holes and rocks with it and no problems. I keep my tires at 25 psi.to avoid "snake bite" flats.
Excellent review, Thank You
Hey no problem ray thank you!
Awesome 😎 job Jozy that bike 🚴 is definitely awesome 😊
At 1:29, I am speaking for everyone when I request for you to please do a video of any kind of speed, range, torque test while riding through that cemetery in the dead of night! 🙂
Haha maybe that’s where I should run my headlight tests!!
@@Trailtested Light just goes right through ghosts. Zombies, not so much. Carry yer bear spray and a .45 auto!
I thought for sure you were going into that tree when you went onto the trail.... I think I might have pooed myself at that moment and I'm not sure you didn't hahaha.
You Rock Jozy!👍
Great review
Is that the battery rattling? A piece of felt will fix that.
Battery was solid it was the metal front fork guard bouncing on the motor wire easy fix but good idea about the battery
What on the bike is causing the rattling noise? Is it the rear battery? Can you secure it somehow? Maybe its just the kick stand.
It’s just my front motor cable rattling a llittle against the metal fender. I fixed it with a zip tie.:)
Thanks for a Great review, what about the range ???
The closest I ran it to fully empty. I had 25% left and I was at 65 miles and that was me me running it pretty good
You bet man Thank you!
Nice video, awesome bike
Thanks!
Curious why you ride the bike with the seat so low? Your legs were so bent, that a full pedal stroke was impossible. Perhaps it was because this was the bigger, 19" bike?
When I am just riding the bike by myself, not doing any testing I do put the seat post up a little higher. I have it all the way down so when I go through the trails (fast), I have more travel in my legs when I stand up.
Yes this is the bigger 19
How do you feel about the steering in regards to the fork hitting the wiring where it exits the frame? Do you feel this should be addressed by E-Cells?
Has not even scuffed it! if there is any damage in the future I will address it! Do you have this problem on your bike?
@@Trailtested Mine just showed up. Can't wait to get home from work to play. The reason I ask is because another UA-camr mentioned this limiting how far you can turn your handle bars to the left vs the right. Since the wiring is thicker on the right. I was just wondering how you feel about maneuverability. I am guessing this would only be a problem at slow speeds.
You seem to have no problems. Nice riding dude!
@@animalhmotherthanks hope you get yours dialed in!
What is raddling
Front motor wire on the metal fenders easy fix with a zip tie
Not getting much help on the frame size to get. At 6'1" what would you suggest, any input would be appreciated?
Go with the 19 inch frame for sure it will suit you perfect I’m 510 and personally the bike is a little big for my size but I prefer a bigger bike.
Did you get the bike on loan or via an influencer discount?
When your finished screwing around go get me some ice cream 🍨
do they ship to Canada??
I’m assuming so they are based in Nevada
This might be a silly question but can this bike follow a 4 wheeler do the same things?
Ya definitely if the trail is in good condition but if it’s a gnarly trail with lots of roots you might be in for a ride trying to keep up!
I missed the range data
Data will be in the description. I will update that in a couple days when I fully finish I do not have the patience to sit on the bike for six hours and get it done in one shot. Stay posted thanks for watching!
Dos it have cruise control 😎?
Yes, if you’re gonna use cruise control, I highly recommend putting it in rear motor only
Sweet can you please do a video on it thank you sir
Yes, stay tuned I will be doing an urban review!
What do you weigh? A buck20?
I compete at 155 pounds but yeah, the bike doesn’t even feel me:)
Bike sounds like its about to fall apart with all the rattling
Motor wire bouncing against the front metal fender going to get rid of all those fenders and rear rack and keep sending! Thanks for watching
Sounds like the gears need lubrication.
@@TrailtestedYou'll give up that extra battery if you remove that rear rack. Do you want that?
Wheelies are more fun when you ride them on your front wheel. You might call them endos. Just be ready to do a round off over the handlebars. Run backwards when you do that and land. Also be ready to catch that bike with one hand to keep it from clonking you on the head. You'll already be facing backwards from the round off. Keep both hands on the bars and cross your arms while doing that round off. It will be necessary.
The front 20 amp power battery supplies more than enough range for my trips, but I will definitely put it back on when I’m going hunting, etc.
Speed testing downhill??? 🤔
It’s was not a timed test just to see what the bike will get up to and cap out at (top speed) Hopefully we can get a G meter soon and properly calculate the 0-20 and 0 to 30 times!
If you want to see someone that does a real test Tailhappy TV is the one to watch
I love that guy he recently commented on one of my videos!:)
@@Trailtested seems like you and that guy are the few who have actually received you bikes.
How long did it take you to get it after you ordered?
That bike is very slow, particularly for a $4600 bike😂😂😂
Watch my first video where it absolutely dominates the off-road trails a real torque machine, I don’t see why anybody would want to go faster than 40 mph on a mountain bike!!
I also recommend the Five Star Bike by ECELLS It’s half the price and absolutely dominates the trails/jumps and is very fast!
Check out my recent Short I I just redid the top speed test on flat. GPS verified 42 miles an hour!! Wow that fast
its illegally fast lol and not everyone needs to go 60mph on a bike
First off not a real speed test speed test requires flat ground..
Second is it going to do a hill test you go straight up the hill when you go sideways it takes half the power you can tell they sent you that bike for free and you're not trying to say anything negative about it get real and do a real test not your biased handicap tests
The speed test was not a timed test. It was just to see what the bike will get up to and cap off it. I conduct my test how I want, you can take the data and use it for your purchase or comparison needs:)
Yeah, I got one. It'll do 39 miles on perfectly flat road
Trust me, that hills nothing. Those bikes are practically climbing up a cliff from a dead stop.
Having all wheel drive ProvideS
So much torque OMG, from 0 to 30 and seconds flat. With the extra motor you can climb anything if you have it in two wheel drive
38 down hill?… not impressive at all!
After recent testing, I found that the speedometer is 3 mph slow! I will do a GPS verified top speed on the next video!
