      @@mrbigdaddyjoe79 part of being a great coach is knowing how to manage people. it just isn't about inventing something. I think Joe Gibbs is right up there w/ any coach cause he won 3 SB's w/m 3 different non hall of fame QB's. Tom Landry was also a truly great coach.

    • @rkelly1999
      @rkelly1999 2 роки тому

      @@washredskin887 Walsh also developed Joe Montana, Steve Young, and Jerry Rice, Gibbs is up there but he also won two strike shortened super bowls w/ asterisks

    • @washredskin887
      @washredskin887 2 роки тому

      @@rkelly1999 SB's are won by the entire organization, not just the head coach. The 87 Redskins won all 3 scab games including a game where 1/2 of the Cowboys players crossed the picket line and played vs the Redskin scab players- which the Redskins won. That allowed the Redskins to get a home game back to play the Vikings which had upset the 49ers. No way in the world is 87 an astrerisk. 15 reg season games were played. 3 playoff games were won, including a road win against the Bears which still had a truly great defense. 82 Redskins? You do have a argument. But they still had to win 4 games in the postseason against the best teams.

      The whole time watching this was thinking that. “Timing & Touch” What Phil Simms described is totally what this young generation 20 years later still doesn’t understand. Everyone thinks a rocket arm wins Super bowls or in “Todays League” it must. Still couldn’t be farther from the truth.

    I'm a Rams fan watching this. We need a new coach. Someone who can coach-up a young quarterback. Jared Goff has been rocketing every pass he throws to his receivers and tight ends. They bounce off their hands and result in an interceptions. We need a coach to tell him that not every pass needs to be a bullet. Kurt Warner threw some graceful passes and lit up the scoreboard. Not everything needs to be a zinger. And he's probably slinging them faster than in practice because of nerves. He needs someone who will instill calm and confidence.

      Sean McVay.... Coach of the Year frontrunner : )
      You got your wish.
      There are not enough good coaches.... it's quite an artform getting through to players/students.
      The more talented the player, sometimes the harder to teach.

    Lol “it’s cause i couldn’t throw hard” match made in 🏈 heaven. I can throw a rock out of my car window at the nearest high school and hit a kid who can throw with velocity. The game allows for the main position of distribution at quarterback to be an on time accurate THROWER OF THE 🏈 not a playmaker himself who uses his legs as a default because the arm talent lacks in comparison. The more things supposedly change- the more the will always stay the same..
