@Benjamin Nunez Nice. The reason why I'm asking is because I'm native american myself from Arizona. And I just wanted to know what your opinion was if there's a possibility that more cooperation can take place between mexicans and native americans? Especially now the Republicans want to declare war on the cartels, and I wouldn't be surprised if white americans will take that to a racial level to where any innocent mexican or native american in their eyes will be considered cartel affiliated.
I really think you should consider holding off on the serving crew during the presentations. It's hideously rude to have people carrying food walking in front of the speakers.
Cindy - Our Archaeology Cafes are a very specific sort of public event. They are held in a public restaurant and attendees can order their own food and drinks from the menu. There is no Powerpoint allowed. The whole event is designed to be very informal and to encourage interaction between the speaker and the audience. Part of the informality is the expectation that guests will continue to be able to get their food and drinks over the course of the evening. This does result in an occasional waiter walking through the shot, but please be assured that all of our speakers are familiar with the format of the event and they tell us they find the experience enjoyable. We hope so!
It does seem to lose some of the serious ness...watching waiters bringing pats of butter and whatnot as Oodham speakers talking about atrocities that happened long ago.
Has anybody considered the Mystic Maze as one of the farming locations?
It would be nice to have O’odham only presenters tell their people’s history without the caucasian lead.
Who is this gentleman at the end of the video named "Joe"?
I'd like to speak with him
This is great, thanks. TOHONO O'ODHAM NATION! She knows us to well. Us O'odham's love to eat. So a restaurant was perfect. #subscribe
Are you tohono o'odham
@@hailoweenhailoween5264 yes. I'm actually a quarter Tohono O'odham, a quarter Yaqui and half Mexican but I'm enrolled with the T,O.Nation
