Great review there Wanderer, Im hoping you can help me answer a question or test something for me? if there is continuous motion in front of the camera for a period of lets say 5 minutes will the camera continuously record in short clips the whole 5 minutes or will there be gaps in the recording?
This was a fantastic comprehensive review and will now look to buy because of it. I would like to understand the battery life. With all the features turned on will the solar battery charge be enough to keep it charged? If its placed high it's going to get very hard to charge it if solar isn't enough.
Great video and hugely informative about the app (Thank you!). Just wanted to add that you can also link this camera to a Reolink cloud subscription, via the app - without relying on SD card or home hub (etc). Really simple and useful for remote access whilst away from home, which I also do with the Reolink LTE camera guarding our shed on our allotment 😊.
Thank you, I did skip the cloud subscription mainly because Reolink does so well with local storage without really needing the subscription which is what I wanted to highlight.
Color night vision looks fantastic. Looks like a great camera and I like the dual lens stitching. Looking to replace my Wyze cameras but don’t want to have a long cooldown without paying for a subscription.
Rolink is currently one of the few companies that does not lock cooldown behind a paywall. In my opinion, Reolink is a good move for those who are more familiar with smart cameras, as you can do a lot in their app, including setting up your own server.

Great Video. Can the spotlights be configured with movement?
To turn on when movement is detected? If so yes

It would be broken up to differint clips.
@@Wanderer001_Reviews yeah that’s great, but if you piece those clips together with software will they be continuous?
@@shaungalea1713 Sure if you use video software you can make the clips one full video.

I threw a lot at it when I was testing it. The solar panel is rock solid and keeps it more then topped off. I think you will be just fine.
What better Argus 4 pro or the duo 3 ?
Different usage, Argus 4 pro great where you don't have power. Duo 3 Wfif would be my pick if you have access to power.
