What your opinion on working part time along side TA position requirements in the first year of a PhD in a HCL area
Hey, do you think it’s possible to apply while finishing a degree?
This is such a great question! I would say ABSOLUTELY! My first round of PhD applications was done during the final years of my degree and although it was a lot of work getting the applications together, I would say it is worth a shot! Good luck!
Yes I am a final year undergrad who just applied to 4 PhD programs and I was accepted to 2 (including my top school), waiting a response for the other 2.
is it possible to get a phd admission if your gpa is not up to required?😢 if yes what maximizes your chances
In my opinion I think it can be possible yes! Grades is definitely something they look at but I found that most places look at the application as a whole, rather than just the grades. For example, having a good personal statement explaining your motivations for completing a PhD, demonstrate a good interest in the subject through experience etc are also super important parts of the application!
Possible. Good personal statement, LORs, and research will help I believe.
