Awesome flying!! Looks like a lot of work to find the right winds and weather. Looks addicting! I fly a paramotor because I'm lazy... I'll have to pick up this sport someday. Thanks for documenting the trip!
@@CoreySymesI definitely love the motor! Well, I love what it enables. I'm sick of 2-stroke engines though. When battery tech enables me to fly 2-3 hours without landing, I will drop this stinky gas ICE motor in a heartbeat! Can't fly everyday... Plus where you love 20-40 kph winds, we paramotors like 0-10 kph winds, mostly in the morning and evening because we don't love thermals. We can fly in them, but mostly we want butter calm air so we can fly low and kick the tops of trees and fields and foot-drag through grass. Much like your shore surfing! Is there a name for what you do on the shoreline down low, versus the traditional paragliding where pilots are seeking cloud tops and thermals and going for max flight distance? I've considered paragliding, but I'm not sure my interest is held chasing thermals and trying to go the farthest. Cruising the beach shoreline down low and popping up and down again seems way more interesting to me!
I understand the motor conditions, that’s what I mean I could fly everyday, combining the two. Anyway. Coastal soaring is what I’m doing. Or Flaring, with the Moustache. It is a Parakite, not a Paraglider. Great fun, highly recommend 🙂
@@CoreySymes Ahhh got it. Absolutely, paraglide high wind days, paramotor low wind mornings and evenings. Totally. I'm addicted I think! Coastal soaring, got it, writing it down, setting a goal. Parakite, cool. I saw the Moustache first on Tucker Gott and Judson Graham's channels. They mostly do Paramotor stuff, but played with the Moustache when it first came out, seems awesome! Thanks for the detailed info Corey, I really appreciate it. Cheers!
Yeh. They are just different wings, meant for different things I do love the feel of a Speedwing in the mountains, flying on the bridge, I love it. But the Mo wins for soaring by a long way.
Love it. I’m sat in my Ute here in WA with my Mo in the back, looking out to a bleak horizon. It’s blown out and raining. Can’t fly, so watching this fills the void 😂 loving it
That looks like way too much fun! I have been flying speed wings since 2009, currently on an old ozone bullet 14 and have gotten the chance to soar it a little bit in the Canadian rockies but mostly just down flights. The Mustache looks pretty cool! Great videos sir! 🤘👍
Coza thought that was the old ute still going for a minute... Remember the surf chase we did down the West Coast.. Love to see you still get that gidy excitement for it buddy..
Haha, that old thing rusted out so bad the cab came off the chassis. I expect to do the same thing to this one ☺️ I do remember that trip. Fresh and foggy down at Boodjidup, what a great time! Nice to hear from ya mate ❤️
yiew, sick one.I enjoyed that :)...I think I prefer the classic gopro over the 360 when its a head cam. I can see and vibe abit more with your flying when it dosnt have that 360 skewing it a bit...though on a big pole the 360 is sick. Thanks for putting this together, I do like the long edits too! Broady is on my hit list :)
Thanks man. Really appreciate the feedback. I think the GoPro is better for this format, and 360 for vertical. I love Broady, but my gosh is it fickle to get >20 knots and right direction. Worth checking if your headed up my way though.
Thanks mate! I’ve only soared the 13 in Denmark, maybe 20hrs, so don’t have much experience on it. Depends on the site, small dunes up to 30 knots, big ridge 100m probably around 15 knots.
@ thanks Corey. Just toying w the idea of PG’ing for now. Going deep on the tube and loving your content. Fear factor has got me a bit. Kids, mortgage etc. Might look at doing a PG2 course sometime this/next year. Those parakites look a blast and ideally I’d like to do the type of flying that you do. Anyhow stay safe mate. Cheers, Ant
@@CoreySymes hey Corey, while we’re on the subject, what wing would you suggest for a newb about to hit 50? Talking something stable and forgiving, not worried about flare at this point, just staying alive 😳😂
Hey Ant, no worries. There are plenty of options for easy safe (EN-A) wings to start on, generally your instructor helps the student with that. TBH, I don't know too much about EN-A wings.
Flying and surfing...doesn't get any better. Thanks for the great vid.
How good is a multi sport mate!
Thanks a heap 🖖🏼
Sick video man ... That's what dreams are made of ...
Makin it happen
Love ya work 😁
Thanks mate!

Thanks mate. It’s a lot of work on an average forecast 😂
I’m really keen to get a motor, you could fly everyday. Maybe I shouldn’t 🙃

Thanks legend ❤️ I really appreciate that!
The perfect super-long righthand wave, and the dunes to fly moustache.
Omfg, I'm so jealous of your life dude xD
Yeh it’s a great area man. Come for a visit!
Epic man! Really enjoying your content, so informative ❤
Cheers man, and thanks for letting me know. Hope ya well ❤️
Awesome video and adventure ...thank you for sharing
Thanks mate ❤️
Such a great vid! Next best thing till I can upgrade to a Mo. Keep it up! Legend
Thanks mate!
What are you currently flying?
I'm on an R3 15! Love the wing but feel like I could have more fun and fly a little bit safer on a moustache 18! Happy flying!@@CoreySymes
Yeh. They are just different wings, meant for different things

Hey Alistair! Yeh that was a fun one 😀
Ozone Bullet hey! Wings have come a long way since then ☺️ The Moustache is great fun, amazing soaring wing

Nice movie, looks awesome! What harness are you using?
Thanks mate! Swing Brave 4 in this one
Fug yeah Koala bear. I'm a big fan.
Thanks mate
I need one moustache ❤
I need all the Moustaches 😊❤️
Great, what harness do you use?
Thanks mate. I’m using the Swing Brave 3 in this video
Nice video mate. Just got myself a Moustache 13. havent had a chance to soar it yet. What do you think are the best winds for it?
Thanks mate!

Hey mate, thanks for create so amazing content. #exotic
Thanks Rick 🍤🧡
what camera do you use on top of helmet?
GoPro 11 mainly. There’s a few Insta360 X2 shots in there, mainly the last flying session.
@@CoreySymes yeah I noticed, I like the GoPro 11 shots, keep the videos coming mate
Thanks for the feedback back, I appreciate it.
E aí Corey Symes... 🤟🤙🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
What's up Flavio my brother 🤙🏼🦘
Mad. Want a Mo
Yeh its a great tool to have in the quiver! Any questions mate fire away
