This is my reaction to Grotesco - Meeting
In this video I react to Swedish comedy from Swedish television comedy sketch show Grotesco and their funny comedy sketch about a business meeting.
Pernilla August played Shmi (Anakin's mother) in Star Wars Episod 1. Michael Nyqvist RIP played Viggo Tarasov in John Wick. The other actors are well known in Sweden.
The joke here is that during the 2010s the plot is basically every show produced in Sweden at the time and it was always the same acters playing these roles.. You also miss the end of tve episode where they reference this scene by having a random guy killing people with a machete (if I remember
correctly)

Most Swedish thing ever: At the very end when nobody wants to address that the talented scriptwriter has completely lost his mind and they just break up the meeting without mentioning what just happened.

And, boy, thar was pure rape of one of Swedens best character actors.
The randomness of life sometimes crashes down when you least suspect it.
I really like this idea.
Michael Nyqvist is most famous outside of Sweden for his roles in John Wick and the swedish millenium trilogy where he played the main lead. Sadly passed away in 2017 shortly after breaking into Hollywood
Ah dude I love this sketch, that character is so insane. He's in a bunch of sketches always escalating shit and being weird.
You gotta see their "Liverlellie" sketch too, It's a parody of english period dramas, Henrik has the most insane beard and wig in that one xP

With Uffe Ehrnman writing and Jan ”one take” Bananberg directing, you can’t go wrong.
You should pronounce his name like Dorsiin. Like "seen".
So good hahaha.
I feel like the meeting when Henrik Dorsin told the rest of Grotesco what the skit should be about was exactly like this.

All of the actors mentioned are super Well know in Sweden.
Michael Nyqvist was the mafia boss in John Wick.
What!? Funny how the other one was Peter Stormare. Two Swedes.
Michael was also the villain in Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol

That was a promising relationship drama. Until.
This is a funny sketch but its a little tricky if you dont understand swedish I would say, the are talking fast and the subtitle dont get it all so you miss some things that makes it more funny . And also other sketces that you watch..

We have had a few of these male ” geniouses” in Sweden during the recent years. Look into the Swedish academy.. a huge scandals among others.

They still do exist and gets away with their character. Here it's a clash with an anxious reality.
Im getting bored of this/those typical Swedish caracters.. i meet them all the time.. and Im probably one my self!
In anyway I would love to visit Fawlty Towers kind of place, and get to meet reel british personalitys!
