+Drink Me It works better with a bigger knife with the serration(teeth) further apart to make the distress look more natural and less neat. Yeah rub it on the jean slowly to get the shape or cut you want and then rip it by hand when it's ready to get the fray and strands. I didn't use it, but slipping the cardboard in there is a good idea.
I prefer the knee slits rather than the blown out look or even the look that you created so I was wondering if in your next tutorial you could show how to do the slits and also some small distressing higher up on the leg too
