I too bought my 320ci Cabriolet 2002 20 yrs ago still looks & drives like it did the day I bought it. There hasn’t been a month go by in it’s life it doesn’t get a compliment/s. It has been very well looked after has 145k on the clock & the mechanic who has worked on it from purchase just the other day told me the car has not had hardly any money spent on it at all apart from wear & tear. Nothing to me compares the feeling of joy I get every time I drive it I love it & doubt I will ever get rid of it 🤔😍
Im a big fan of the e46, im really close to get my hands into my first one and this review was so enjoyable, I wanted the 4 door but now I want the convertible
They also have hidden features, like your fools locks automatically after 15mph , you can open and close all your windows and sunroof remotely using your fob key by pressing and holding the lock or the unlock button, and there're many others cool hidden features
Amazing video! Very clear and easygoing communication. Great advice and mods. This is so helpful as I'm looking to purchase a similar convertible and am a little unsure about costs. Great job!
I had the same, 05 330ci m sport convertible but it was automatic. I'm now looking for another 05 convertible but in a manual. Amazing cars to own and drive.
Great review man! I just picked up a 2001 330ci with the 5-speed and 115k miles. Paid more than you lol. $5700... But it's really clean and so far seems like a great car. Replaced valve cover and purge valve but otherwise nothing crazy wrong with it. I've put about 1000 miles on it. Really like the head unit you have! Will be watching that video.
Good video and review G I’m from NYC this is my 2nd car and 2nd E46 my first one was 03’ 325xi and now I just got a 02’ 330ci for 5,000 I love the car way better condition then my 325xi haha I’m always looking back at it when I get out 🥰
I got the 2001 version in 2019 with ~175k miles just to drive back and forth to work. Paid just $2200 in Nevada for it. I also had two 1977 530i's years ago. Fun drivers.
It’s crazy how “cheap” these models are in the US. Over here in Germany you’d have to put about 10k€ on the table for a comparable one (even with that high mileage). Especially 330Ci (Coupe and covertable) are very expensive and hard to find in good condition. A 330Ci with 150k km (100k miles) would be around 15k€ in good condition. Keep it up 👍
In the UK E46s are usually fully equipped with auto mirrors & the M-Sport Package etc. You can pick one up from the region of around £2,499 - £5,000 for a really good one.
If parking and neuutral does not appear on the speedometer but appears on the gear line lever and the car does start because no parking is appear on the speedometer
Thanks for uploading this video. I actually picked up my 1st BMW E46 today. Can you recommend an honest mechanic in the 925 area code. I have a slight oil leak and I'm not to knowledgeable when it comes to German cars. Thanks again.
I personally go to someone I know who does it at his house. It’s hard to recommend a good place but I would try asking around and see what people offer. Also check yelp reviews too.
The manuals need the differential welded. This is a major issue. Many plastic parts that are fragile. Do your homework and learn how to repair everything you can. These will require maintenance.
There’s different ones like zhp package but the basic sports package came with the sport steering wheel, sport powered seats, the sport wheels 17” and sport suspension
I have this same exact car but without the M package. 29k miles on it and its in almost perfect condition. Love driving it on sunny days. Anyone know what it would be worth today?
I have an E46 but need minor work. I'm looking at new cars to replace the bmw E46, but at the same time, I don't want to be spending crazy monthly payments I think it'll be best to work on the E46.. what are your thoughts
@CS Studios the battery keeps draining out after a day being inside I paid $236 for the battery and got cooked in the first couple days and went to go to the warranty replacement but we think it's the fuze box
just bought this car for $6500 CAD, other than a few dents on the body, the car is in amazing condition and runs amazingly, I do need to change the rotors and pads , what brand do you recommend i should get that isn't too hard on the wallet?
Nice, I just got one 2 weeks ago too (323ci), 205,000km. 6,500 seems like a good deal. What was your model and mileage(km)? Did yours have any issues at all?
I bought my 2002 e46 325ci in 2004 manual 5 speed, its now 2023 and my car runs better today then when I first bought
how much money have you put into your car

It's amazing how well the e46 drives after all these years.
One of the best cars I’ve driven so far and it wasnt even a coupe
after 20 yrs? 🆒️ 😎👍
I just bought a 2000 e46 323 6 cyl manual. It’s in incredible condition
I've had my '05 since 2014 and I didn't know the outside mirrors could be folded up! Thanks!!🙂

i just got an 02 330ci 5 speed and it needed a clutch within 24 hours
can't wait to drive it again
I just bought one of these and I want to get all black seat covers and basically give the whole interior an all black look

This is clean! Reminds me of my ‘16 f23 M235i. Same size, and styling. I can see it pays homage to the e46 after all these years.

Very nice car, I can't wait to get my hands on one. As someone else said, here in Europe they are pretty expensive in good condition.

During 2020-2022 they were also very expensive $6000-10000 but before that they were cheaper.
Looking at a 2002 330CI Sport Package with 60K miles and the guy only wants $6K which is cheap even for here.
@@cowlumbus If you haven't bought it yet... where's this located?

Yeah, they arent dirt cheap in Europe. I have a 320ci in Scotland, paid £1000
Love all the mods , great looking car.
I thought the e46 coupe & cabrio remained in production until 2006..
i velive the ci are the same lengh, both are longer than the sedan, but they are not different between each other
I love the e46's models I owned a touring, a 330ci 2005 convertible and a 325i 2005 , now I'm looking for a 330i 2001 and a 330ci coupe facelift
Around mileage did your coolant light go on? Thanks for this video!
Where did you get the replacement for the cup holders? Mine looks awful
clearly explained 👍nice video

Mine is a RHD 2002 330ci M54 engine with Bilstein B16 in Titan Silver

I sold my 2004 BMW 330CI coupe in black color. Now, I regret it. Can't find any where to buy one in good condition.
Yeah I don’t plan to sell ours
How reliable are the cars? I’m looking to buy a 2001 model
The 6 cylinder engines are reliable, just need to make sure cooling system is maintained as that’s a weak point
The manuals need the differential welded. This is a major issue. Many plastic parts that are fragile. Do your homework and learn how to repair everything you can. These will require maintenance.
Where did you find it? Craigslist, marketplace?
Craigslist
What’s a pdc?
what's the difference between sport package and the normal one?
There’s different ones like zhp package but the basic sports package came with the sport steering wheel, sport powered seats, the sport wheels 17” and sport suspension
Nice car you got! I paid 9000€ for a nice model with 180k Kilometers in Germany. I love it and will never sell it...
I don’t plan to sell mine either. We’re gonna get a i4 for the wife and I told her we’re gonna keep the 330ci until it completely dies
I enjoyed your video, And I know that it is a savage title. If you're thinking about selling the car. Maybe we can work out a great deal.
Thanks! I’m probably gonna keep this one until it is no longer fixable.
Will the wind deflector stay on with the roof up
Yes!
I have this same exact car but without the M package. 29k miles on it and its in almost perfect condition. Love driving it on sunny days. Anyone know what it would be worth today?
with 29k miles you could sell it in germany for about 20-30K. The market is crazy
Where could i get a Stereo like that? I have the basic model
It’s the Avin Avant 4

How does the wind deflector stay up? Mine keeps falling into the down position.
It clicks when you put it up. Yours might be broken
@@cs.studios Must be because there is no way to lock it up.
Are you still able to put covers on those type of headrests ?
Not sure, I’d assume you need to first see which seats you have because the basic seats I think don’t have the same adjustable headrest
How do car seats fit in the back? Have two kids
You want the sedan or wagon model. Coupe/Convertible will be a pain for car seats

What maximun mileage is reliable for this car and how does it worth your car now?

Ain’t it plastic that’s painted?
Yeah that’s true I meant it’s all painted so no need to worry about plastic fade like many other models
I have 2 of them for sale
