We've been here before. Threats of suspension were thrown around. It's sad that we have not found a lasting solution to stem the deaths. However, there are hotspots where these deaths are reported. Before, it used to be Pondoland who used to report high number of deaths. Now the deaths are reported elsewhere. This means negligence is to be the main cause. It needs to be nipped in the bud. But, coming up with this nonsense of threatening SUSPENSION would only create a practice that is being practiced out of the regulatory framework, which would be more dangerous. We can't have that.
Its not a secret its a private matter "supposedly" why suspend something without finding the root cause and holding those responsible accountable. The areas or those people who perform this in a wrong way and cause deaths must be dealt with and some must go learn in areas where there's zero deaths of "abakwetha". Before any decision can be taken, problematic areas and problematic people who have a history of causing harm should be identified because this is not a general matter every year we find ourselves debating the same thing over and over again about the people or same areas.
