Good one! I will be on the alert for this one! That would have been very frustrating to run across this one while working on a project with all that entails and all the rest of the things going on. Thank you.
@@TooTallToby Toby, I understand what you are saying. I still use 2017 because a client dropped off the treadmill and still use SolidWorks. And I never go current. Latest I will go is like now 2022. Never never current, let things settle down. As for me they update too often. But there are times when some functionality in the new version is nice. Like the ability to mate items in is a side window. Thans for what you do!
@TooTallToby I passed along this link to one of our "Admins." I thought it might be good to have them go back and update all of our templates. Makes more sense to me to always have it on and turn off for individual drawing needs vs. the other way around.
I constantly have a problem where my bend lines do not show up when I save as a .dxf and I see no reason for it. One time they will be there and the next time they won't even though I did the same thing both times. It's a real headache because than I have to manually put them back in for the press break operator.Do you have any idea about I am doing wrong?
I had that issue at my previous workplace but not at my current. Here, I have a related problem that the arrows to the bend details are not showing, even though I'm sure I've got the setting checked to show arrows by default. Any tips on what I'm missing?
Can you elaborate on what you mean by "the arrows to the bend details"? Like are you trying to show bend notes with arrows? Alternately you could hit me up on the discord (a little easier to share images): discord.com/invite/tchQMNFxme
Glad this was helpful Toby! Hope this eases some frustration for other users. This was frustrating for sure until we found the fix!
Awww yeah THANKS CONNOR!!!!!!!! Awesome having you in the class!!

Awesome thanks Davichoo!

THAT’S HOW YOU FIX THAT!
Thanks guys!
Yeah crazy right!! So glad I was shown this!
I had to troubleshoot that dimensioning issue aswell in the past. The way solidworks handles the flat pattern view in drawings is just strange.
I agree - and it seems to get stranger with each release of the software! 😁
11111 Way to go Connor!
Yeahhhh Kurt!! +111 for Connor!
