      May be in your location! This is mangalore side flavour. Every area has its own flavour. So you cannot judge if it is wrong or right. Color comes from the type of chilly used. You can use Byadgi chilly for Red color.

      Ya right! You expect them to buy new utensils every time they cook a new dish! It's washed and looks clean. Don't go by the color of the utensils. They are not some commercial channel cookery show or fancy show which are available on UA-cam.

      @@aparnad100 I m guessing u stay in a city and don't make pickles more than 2 kg. Cause if you did, u wud know how difficult it wud be to find a big vessel.They have taken a bucket which they use for many purposes and can easily accommodate all the contents. Jus see the number of mangoes! These buckets normally change color as time passes. Hence the change in color. These people stay in interior areas and agriculture is their main occupation. They prepare many food items in these utensils and they are bound to corrode and change color. Im sure you have never used these kind of buckets. May be you just saw the dirt on the lid and judging the entire bucket to be dirty, cause I can't find any dirt in the bucket & vessels apart from few scratches and discoloration due to use over the years. And as for my cleanliness standards, I don't need anyone to judge me. I have stayed in a metro like Bangalore and also small city like Mangalore. I know both worlds and know how it is. Please don't judge anyone because u don't know about it. Peace!

Also , every one is entitled for an opinion.
