It could but in the event of leaf fall in the autumn and winter sprinklers because less efficient at watering due to less direct contact with the soil through leaf fall... that's usually where drip pipe comes into the picture
Would that not need to be lower in the soil than she did it. Pretty sure the mower would wipe that out

Yep, they are flush to the ground, mow over them without issue.
You shouldn't be cutting your lawn that short anyway....

That is a good idea. It would have massive benefits, but massive cost, too.
Got to remember that forest fires are nature’s way of renewing forests and clearing the forest floor. It’s a necessity.
