Dear Kathryn I have watched you for a long time but don't comment but today I needed to tell you what a beautifull humble person you are,I love your little home and everything you have put together to make it into a cosy home full of love for yourself,Stella and Fredfred. You are the light that brightens the darkest days.wishing you a peacefull christmas with those you love ❤❤❤❤❤
I so enjoyed your Chanel today. I’m making mince pies, too! I bought crust and mince already made. I did actually make mince meat back in the 1970’s when we lived in Humboldt County. We were living wild life of the so called hippies. I really had lots of time. I even made a batch of root beer. We ended up in towns and living more convivially. Now we are in the foothills of the great Sierras. This is the first time I’ve made mince pies since we lived along the Eel River. I’m so happy to have you for a friend. You portray a very brave woman. And what the world needs now is BRAVE WOMEN! Especially here in the USA!❤ keep up the good work.
Hi Kathryn thankyou again for all you do, have really enjoyed watching your videos and having fun trying new things. Wishing you and ones you love a wonderful Christmas and here's to a brighter happier and healthy 2025. Much love to you, Stella and Fred Fred ❤🎄🦘🌲
I can feel all the love, the gratitude, the respect everyone is sending you. Its heartfelt, i know, because i join in these sentiments for you Kathryn. You've given us so much. We're looking forward to the New Year with you.
Your spirit is always eloquent even when the words fail you. Sending you and your little brood including sweet Stella much joy for your Christmas together. And sending love to all at this time, particularly those that may be struggling. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Thank you for the heart felt comments for this holiday season. May you have a Happy and Healthy New Year! I enjoy your videos and look forward to the next year. 🤗 Enjoy your visit with the children. Peace
Thank you Kathryn for sharing your mince pie-making and your thoughts about Christmas. My mom had the pastry gene, but I didn't inherit it, so every bit of your skill is much welcome. About Christmas, I'm not crazy about it, I feel very much like you. I'm grateful for liking indoor activities. Here in Kingston, Ontario, we have no snow, but it's very cold and there is no way I'll be outside for more than a few minutes. I'm grateful to be part of your virtual community. Thank you for for keeping in touch with your wise words, your beautiful work and your welcoming home and heart. Have a wonderful time with your kids. A big hug for you and all my love. ❤
Thank you for this and all your videos, which teach, inspire and comfort. Wishing you and your children a peaceful holiday season together, and warm wishes for kinder times ahead ❤️
Christmas Day is one day…..there are 364 other days to celebrate however you want. Enjoy every day… Thank you Katherine and thank you for your videos ❤❤❤
Merry Christmas, Kathryn. Thank you for leading all us stitchers this past year. Also, I greatly enjoyed the walk in the woods, especially the old, gnarled, bare trees framing the distant water. Beautiful!
You are such a caring woman and you are not a inch of a Grinch...you are such an encouraging person and you are very aware of how life is. May you be blessed with God's peace and comfort in this new year. ❤️🙏🏻
I always enjoy seeing your beautiful work around your cosy home, joining you and Stella for a walk, and hearing your thoughts, dear Kathryn. A few days ago, I was explaining to my husband about mince pies at Christmas, and there you are, making some. He wonders whether they could be sent via a 3D printer ;-). Your sensitivity to other traditions and situations showcases your innate kindness, not Grinch-ness. Have a heartwarming holiday with your family and friends. I wish everyone in this community a gentle New Year.
Dear Kathryn. "The firsts are the worst" as they say. I hope you enjoy your lovely cozy home this Christmas time, and every minute of the time with your children. Love to you, Stella, and Fredfred 🤗
Thank you - for your wishes, for your compassion for those of us who may not be 'jolly' or that may be celebrating a different way or tradition. Thank you for this year's wonderful projects and for taking us along on your newly single journey. Thank you for all the things that may go unsaid. Thank you, for being you. So much love to you, Kathryn. 💚💚💚
Merry Christmas. You are such a delight! Thank you for inviting us into your home and bringing sushine into our lives. Hope 2025 is full of good health and much peace and happiness.
I just have to tell you that you and your home look so lovely! Your children are so blessed to have you as a mother. I always enjoy it when you take us along for a walk with you and Stella. 🙂The countryside is beautiful. Through all the sadness, I do pray that you will have a meaningful Christmas and that you will experience peace. God loves you and so do we! ❤️
The Mince pies look tasty. I love granulated sugar topping pies. Happy holidays in your new home. Thank you for all the wonderful lessons in cloth and paper.
Thank you so much Kathryn for this lovely video reminding me of typical English things to do at Christmas or Yuletide. I’ve been living in Portugal for the last forty odd years, but making mince pies is my way of celebrating my British heritage as I can’t imagine Christmas without them and for me Christmas is all about traditions and I loved listening to you talking about how your grandma taught you and things your dad would say. So heartwarming. I would also like to thank you for this year with you, all the wonderful videos, the beautiful community you have created and the sharing of your life and the difficulties and challenges you have had to face. So I wish you a well deserved, peaceful and happy Christmas with your children and of course Stella and Fred Fred. Looking forward to next year with you too!❤
Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge. When you sit and chat, its like having a friend close by. looking forward to next year’s projects and listening to life's stories. sending you good heath and happiness
Hello, Kathryn! You are such a thoughtful person, always thinking of others. I want to say I love your park home life videos where you welcome us into your home. I've so enjoyed your other videos this year also. Have a wonderful time with your children this holiday season, Kathryn. ❤
My dear Kathryn, thank you for still making a video, the mince pies look yummy and I’m so glad you’ve found a lovely new walk. I imagined you finding a place to bury your cloths in the new year. It is a very sad time for a lot of people I agree, Christmas time can be very challenging for some and my heart and prayers go out to them. I bought a real tree with a root too, she will be put in a bigger pot outside my house ready for next year hopefully. Yours looks so sweet, especially up against your gorgeous curtain. I hope you have a lovely time with your children, my hubby and I are going to stay with my youngest and her three boys, she recently moved house, she too is going through a hard time. Anyway take good care of yourself, I am really looking forward to next year’s projects, thank you for being real. Lots of love and hugs, Bella ❤❤
I love your living tree and your beautiful angel topper! It has been quite cold here in central Canada. Last I checked, Winnipeg has a 99% chance of having a white Christmas, so we are right on track.🌨❄⛄ I am always happy when the days start to lengthen as it means more daylight hours for crafting. Wishing you a wonderful holiday with your family!🎄♥😊
I wish you beautiful days with your beloved and a happy new year 2025. I want to thank you a lot for all your support and inspirations in this special year 2024 and I am so happy that I have come to meet you on this channel and to follow your tutorials every week. Looking forward to continue this beautiful travel along in 2025. (Sorry about my english.....) All the best from Germany.
My mouth is watering* thank you for making these pastries. I've never had mince meat because I thought it was meat. I love the story's that you share❤❤ YOU are a lovely person.
Hello Kathryn, your mince pies look scrumptious especially the big one! Your decorations are lovely and it all looks very cosy. I hope you have a lovely time with your family and wish you a better 2025. Jennie x
Beautiful holiday video! Thank you for sharing with us! Love your tree, the angel., the walk in the woods, the mince pie sharing, and well....the whole "Package of Lovely"! Blessings to you and your loved ones this Christmas, and May 2025 bring you great peace and much joy. 🎄🤗❤️🎉....
Thank you Kathryn, I enjoyed that. I hope you have a lovely cosy Christmas with your family and take time to rest. Looking forward to the new year and seeing the new projects unfold. I hope 2025 is a better year for you in your new home..
I would like to join the others in thanking you for a wonderful year. I never meant to take on all the weeks of sewing with you, but have found it to be so lovely and pleasant. Thank you for sharing your life with us. You have taught me so much and given me much to think about. Merry Christmas.
I have heard what is in your heart and I am so grateful that I did. Thank you Kathryn for recognizing that there are those of us who have “different” holidays. You managed to bring tears to my eyes. I will be spending Christmas in my studio and I am okay with that now. Your mince meat pie demonstration is a breath of fresh air. None of that fussy cooking and equipment. I wanted to stand up and clap!👏 I wish you peace, joy, good health, and a fountain of creativity for this holiday and the New Year! ❤ (I love your tree!)
I loved this video - spending time with you making your mincemeat pies! My mother was a 'pie baker extraordinaire' and she did it exactly like you do, down to working the flour into the fat with her "fingertips" as you mentioned. Every caution you mentioned she told me when teaching me many, many years ago. Her mother loved mincemeat pie and I remember it being a part of every Christmas and Thanksgiving. Your new home is a lovely, evolving creation and I hope you are cozy and peaceful there with Stella and Fredfred. I, too, am looking forward to projects in the new year and would just as soon fast forward through all the Christmas stuff. Probably more of us out there than we'd think - especially in our age bracket. Sending you love and light, as we celebrate the Winter Solstice ☀♥.
Thank you for your truthfulness, it is not the most wonderful time of the year for everyone, for some of us it is a real struggle and I think that is okay. I have appreciated your peaceful approach. Enjoy your children, I look forward to next year with you!❤
We hear your heart Kathryn. Wishing you a very happy Christmas with your children and looking forward to more cloth adventures with you in the new year xx
I've never had mincemeat, it looks like the perfect paring with a cup of tea. The holidays can be so difficult for so many. At 69 I've figured out that you keep the traditions that bring you joy and let go of the rest. We don't buy gifts, we share food and time. That's the ideal for our family. Have lovely visits with your son and daughter and thanks for all the gifts you share with all of us.
Dear Kathryn, I love what you are doing to your new home. It looks so cozy and comfortable. Enjoy your time with your children and sending good wishes to you for 2025. I look forward to following you on your journey in the new year,
Thank you for respecting the many ways people relate to this season! I hope you enjoy your time with your children and that every day becomes lighter for you!
Hiya K3n, lost another intothe ether!😊Anyhow, was just thanking you for sharing your talents, Christmas 🎄, all the uploads this year, and trip through the kitchen😊❤ Wishing all a cheery Solstice, loving Christmastide, and peaceful prosperous 2025!As ever,Julia, Brisbane, Australia 🙏 ❤ 🇦🇺 😀 🪃 xx
I just enjoyed watching your video today, I love taking the walk along with you and your wonderful pup. The baking of the mincemeat pies was wonderful and brought back memories of my mother who didn't bake but did love mincemeat pies and would buy them every Thanksgiving and Christmas until the year I bake one for her. I became her official mincemeat pie baker from then on. She has been gone nearly 35 years, today you baking those pies gave me some fond memories. I wish you a wonderful Christmas with your children and and very happy New Year. Looking forward to joining you again in 2025.
I remember the grey pastry off cuts .I used to get some jam to put in a special jam tart for Daddy. Bless him . I would watch him eat it and he would say it was the best jam tart he'd ever eaten!
I’m going to be making my mince pies today - I do them exactly the same way as you do, probably as my Nan taught me how. A bit late for my cake but doing that too - I use a Nigella recipe with chestnut spread, its delicious and doesn’t need a long time of be soaking it in a booze before it’s ready to eat. Im in Oz, but my family has British background so many of the same food traditions, although few of the younger people in the family will eat mince pies or Christmas cake. Thank you for your programming throughout the year, you have been an inspiration and I’ve loved watching all your content and look forward to next year’s projects. Wishing you a peaceful Christmas with your children, inc the furry ones, and a pleasurable start to 2025. 🎄
Thankyou again for another LOVELY video. It truly is such a treat to watch your videos & spend some time with you. Winter solstice greetings & wishes for a peaceful festive period.🌲💕
My Dad was a baker. He taught me to use a pair of scissors (not the snippy snipps!!) instead of a knife to create the steam escape hole int the tarts. ( In my family we always called them tarts, pies were bigger). Anyway, the scissors create a very cute little triangular opening, that always makes me think of “four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie”, and of course are much faster than a knife when making dozens at a time. I am always glad when Christmas is over. I am a giving sort of person, make a lot of gifts and feel almost burned out by the 25th. I do, however, celebrate the return of the light! Thank you for lighting my life and my spirit with your thoughts and creations throughout 2024. Have a peaceful, restorative break and enjoy your children’s company. I look forward to whatever 2025 brings!
We call them tarts if they are open and pies with a lid. Isn't it funny and interesting how we have different ways of saying the same things? It's one of my (many) favourite things about this community, learning about how we all do and say things slightly differently but very much the same. If that makes sense. ❤️
Such a lovely thoughtful video. Christmas can be a wonderful time but for many it can be very difficult because of lost loved ones and loneliness. For those who need help lots of support services are not available over the Christmas period. Enjoy your mince pies there’s nothing like homemade. Wishing you a peaceful time with your children🎄💕
How wonderful to discover the beech glade on the knoll! (But resist the swing. 😊) Loved the tart-making. I'm always amazed by people who don't have to measure. Wishing you a peaceful Christmas, Kathryn ❤❤❤
Kathryn - another wonderful Park Home Life chat! I want to thank you for all you've taught me this past year - not just the stitching - I really admire you. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas with Stella and FredFred, and enjoy your visit with Lily and Joey! I can't wait to see what we'll learn in 2025 and what adventures you'll take us on! Terri
Thank you for all your wonderful videos and instructions this year. Have a very happy Christmas and New Year and enjoy your time with your children. Looking forward to tuning in again next year for new endeavours , adventures and challenges with you and all the other wonderful members of group. Stay safe xxx
Pie making was something that my grandmother's shared with me. They are long since gone. Both showed me how to make the same pie crust you made and also how to hand stitch anything. I am thankful to have been placed in their path of life.
Thank you, Kathryn! I wish you all the best for the new year. I have loved spending this one with you and your projects, and I'm very much looking forward to next year's. I'm in awe of the courage you've shown this year, and I wish I had only half of it! Have a wonderful time with your children (and the mince pies!) in your beautiful new home.
I do hope you enjoy Xmas with your family. I certainly do hear what’s in your heart and am sure it will resonate with a lot of people whose lives are not filled with the joy at this time of year. Having a new project to look forward to is very exciting, I can’t wait to stitch along with you ❤
You needed a glass of wine for the galloping gourmet lol. My family isn’t keen on large mincemeat tarts or pies but they inhale the mini tarts. I add a splash of brandy to the mincemeat. I’ve really enjoyed your channel this year Kathryn, thank you so much for sharing it with us. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and look forward to your plans for next year. Love your little tree and angel. 🎄Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤
I agree will all the information that you mentioned about Christmas time. I think it can become stressful, and it is not worth all the stress or tiredness and preparing so much ;except the main dinner with turkey. I enjoyed watching all your projects this year and look forward to the new year projects. You are an inspiration and wealth of knowledge. Merry Xmas and happy creative new year!
Bright solstice blessings to you Kathryn and much love and gratitude for all that you are, all that you offer and the inspiration and wisdom you impart. You are a treasure x
Thanks for this delightful video! I don’t identify as Christian but grew up with Christmas. So, it’s been a little difficult this time of year. I’m learning to just accept the good wishes behind all the “merry” and allowing myself to just feel however I feel. I love those little mince meat pies I had when I was in the UK a few years back. I’ve been making my own, since we only have full sized mince pies here in the US. I had quite a time finding jars of mince meat. When I did find it, I bought all they had! Have a wonderful visit with your kids and I’m looking forward to our new year of stitching. ❤️
Thank you for sharing your heart, and you have a lovely heart. Each day moving forward is a gift we give to ourselves and others. I used to love when my grandmother (also Kathryn) would make too much pastry, she put cinnamon and sugar on it and it was a great treat! Much love to you!
Good morning Kathryn, Your reminiscing about you Grany; brought back so many memories of my own Gran. My mom's mother, she had 13 children and she made everything from scratch. I loved visits, we were always either baking or sewing when I would stay for a weekend. Mince pie was always her favorite. She taught me how to make Green tomato mincemeat. I still can smell the cinnamon and cloves as I write this. I haven't made mince pie in a while.... I think this is the year to do it. Thank you for bringing fond memories of holidays past. Blessings for a joyous Christmas and fruitful new Year.😘
Happy Christmas to you K3N. I know you will enjoy being with your children as i look forward to seeing mine. Peace to you this season as we look to the light
Hi Kathryn, I enjoy watching your park home life very much. I have kept my Christmas tree in a pot for over 15 years now and it is still very happy and looks great. It prefers more shade in the summer I've found. Your little reference to 'Babe, the sheep pig' made me laugh so much 'that'll do pig' I say that too 🤣!! Looking forward to seeing you planting your garden. Hope you enjoy your time with your children x
Thank you Kathryn, for sharing your journey and spreading your light ✨🌟✨. Sending you the very best of good wishes and every blessing in 2025. Keep twinkling away, because this is your gift 🌟🥰🌟
It’s been wonderful to be with you twice a week all year. I’ve learned so much from you. Thank you for all the thought and work you put into your videos. You’ve had a hard year, Kathryn, but look how far you’ve come! Merry Christmas to you and your children. Enjoy the holidays together. 🥰
"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...... "! The tree is beautiful. Will watch this when I get back from my last foray to the local shop, for the local weekly paper. And then I don't go out until my son collects me on the morning of Christmas eve. It's going to be a pressie wrapping weekend. E❤
@k3n.clothtales me too, and I love buying them. I've absolutely loved every minute of your uploads, and Stella and Fredfred. My first Christmas as a newly single parent with two small children - I don't really remember it. But I waved the credit card and made it happen. And we survived. And ever since, when I feel life is bothersome, I just tell myself that I've survived thus far, so I'll still be ok. . No one has a perfect life, we all have our own level at which we can be content and happy, but unplanned and unwelcome life can get in the way, sometimes puts us on a different path, and we survive, and we grow because we have learned our own strengths. Kathryn - have a wonderful Christmas time with your family, and a settled 2025 - the beginning of making yourself and your happiness a priority. Love and hugs. E♥️
Memories - DS teacher Mrs McCurdy coming round and checking that you had no flour above the second knuckle of your fingers! Gosh I loathed those classes - I was the one whose steamed pudding never cooked, whose Swiss roll cracked etc etc 😂 yet I probably use more of the techniques that I learned in those classes, than any science lesson technique, in day to day life.
That was a lovely video. I have my grannies old rolling pin it is fruit wood and has no handles to roll with. It used to live in the baking bowl on a shelf over the kitchen door. Fond memories of afternoon spent with my granny. Enjoy your Christmas with Stella Fredfred and your children , all the best for the New Year.🐾🐾❤
How lovely that you still have her rolling pin. My Granny's was made of glass with ends that unscrewed so it could be filled with cold water. I think my Mum has it. ❤️
Merry Christmas Kathryn, we are in for a very hot Christmas here, l will be thinking of your cool beautiful woods. Best wishes for a Peaceful New Year full of joy ❤️🎄💐🐝🦘
Dear Kathryn, thank you for such a lovely and heartfelt video. The walk in the woods was beautiful as is your home. So many precious memories were recalled as I watched you make your beautiful pies ~ cooking with my mom and my grandmas and yes, home economics as we called it in the US when I was in school. My mom would roll out her extra pastry dough, on the same Pyrex lid, and sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar as a lovely treat for us. I do hear what is in your heart, and it touched mine. I also have had a hard year and am not feeling all of the joy and frivolity marketed as Christmas. You have brightened my year and have shown me the true value of simplicity and of caring for ourselves. My hope in the coming year is for contentment and you will be a very special part of this. Wishing you a wonderful time of peace and love with your children. Much love to you. ❤
Kathryn, wishing you a very Merry Christmas, how wonderful you will be spending time with your children. Your home is beautiful and full of peace and love and how you have made a nest for yourself.🥰 I also wanted to comment on how much joy you have brought to so many people this past year through your lovely videos and your talent. 💜
Beautiful trees such as lovely spot. As a child I use to make jam rolls out of the leftover pastry so you brought back happy memories ❤ I have mixed feelings about Christmas family time I love but I do find it quite stressful. I just focus on the new year and all the promise it will bring ⭐️
Now that I'm older, children all grown, it's a relief to not celebrate Xmas. I do look forward to a new year and that reminds me of one of my favourite sayings, "don't look back, you're not going that way". I wish you all the best for the year ahead and I'll be there with you. Thank you for the light you bring to so many of us.❣🦋
Thank you, Kathryn, for showing us your little pies. I have been wanting to bake again. I might try these little jems. Maybe with some other preserves, or little chicken pot pies, or ? We are waiting for the new year and more fun projects! Enjoy your family, and until we see you again! Much love everyone's way.
Thank you Kathryn for a great year of stitching! I've learned so much and now have a lovely (very round) journal for 2024! I couldn't have done it without you! Many blessings to you and have a very merry Christmas! (Cheryl from Texas)
I am going to give the mince pies a try. Your park home life videos bring back memories of a time, early in my married life, that I spent with two children, a cat, and a dog in a travel trailer. Because of my husband's work, we traveled from job to job. When I look back now, I realize those were the best of times. I look forward to 2025 and learning new things. I am grateful that I found you this year and traveled the journey with you. Merry Christmas
Thank-you. Your words about this time of year, Christmas, solstice and circumstances resonate so strongly with me; this year especially .... Even grannies being so special !! Hope your mince pies are a roaring success 🥰
Dear Kathryn! I wish you merry Christmas with your children and pets. Also I want to wish you a very happy nieuw year, exploring, creating and enjoying everything you do. Thank you for teaching me how to handstitch, I had a great year with you, my friend. Love from NL, Helene
I am so sorry that you have gone through some difficult times and I hope & pray that your travail ends soon and that the sun will shine in your heart again. Enjoy the time with your children - I am sure they will bring you comfort.
Re the mince pies … we would call the mis-shapen “rustic”. 😎😎😎 the end chat was lovely. Christmas season is a commercial tsunami of music, commercial pressure to buy and unreasonable function and social expectations. I think it’s hard on everyone. Some people just have more in the capacity and energy tank to withstand it all. We all deserve a soft, gentle Christmas season no matter what flavour of celebration we follow. Wishing you every comfort this season. May next year be full of small daily joys and lots of fabric pleasures. Love from me and Gracie 🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛
Oh, I forgot to mention that your potted tree is perfect and actually appears to be coordinated with your beautiful curtain. I admire the efforts you have made for your children.
Dear Kathryn, I really enjoy watching your vlogs and just want to send best wishes to you for the festive period and a peaceful New Year. Hope you enjoyed your mince pie it looked delicious.❤
Oh, this brings me right back to watching my Grand-mere make her mincemeat pies when I was a really little girl...with one of her aprons wrapped about me and standing on a little wooden stool by her side...;)))-- what a wonderful memory;)))🥰. Thank you so much for taking us along with you...I thoroughly enjoyed watching .... I have to tell you that I just really enjoy Park Home Life...hugs, and Peace Julierose🥰
Good to see you Kathryn. Warmest wishes for this season and going into 2025. A lot of not so Christmassy feelings here in the US as well. One day at a time. Blessings for your new life and I look forward to seeing more of your new home and fur friends and garden. xo
It was lovely to see your mince pie-making and get a glimpse of your decorations and hear about your granny and feel your love for her. I love your ethos of using the tools at hand, whether that be your hands and fingers, the glasses as cutters, the lid as a baking dish, I love it all. I’m also very much looking forward to the turning of the year and the slow return of the light. Enjoy the time with your children. Soak up the love and let it nourish you for the coming year. ❤️🥳🫶🎄☀️
Dearest Kathryn...I hope you can feel the big hug, love and peace I'm sending through this computer contraption. Thank you for all your share with all of us. You give us the authentic you, which is loveliness. There is a quote from Flying Edna that says, "There is a perfectly still moment right before dawn when the sun gathers itself & then steps into the dark world & everything is so filled with light that any doubts from that long night are barely a memory. It is the way of all things that the night ends & the light returns. The light always returns." Bidding you peace, light and joy.
Have a lovely time with your children & pets.. looking forward to 2025 as well. A New Year, new start, new projects to do.. we’re awaiting new born twin great grand babies.. ( if they wait till then) so as well as loss comes New Life.. Best wishes from hot & very wet Nth Queensland Australia
I enjoyed watching you make your mince pies. Mince was my Nana’s favorite! I think I will give your pastry method a try since I can’t ever seem to get a good result with my Nana’s recipe for crust. I understood what you were expressing at the end. We don’t yet know if our grandchildren will come over to see us or not. I made a couple of gentle invitations for this week but the dates did not work for them so we are left wondering if we will get to see them at all. Instead of fretting I am focusing on my husband, our younger son, and our lovely old dog. I do love Christmas and I remain hopeful. Enjoy your visitors. Soon enough the year will turn.
Oh yes I can hear whats in your heart. I know feelings like you are talking about. My children have moved away. So consequently my grandchildren are far away. My heart. I hope you have a wonderful time with your children. And I'm ready for next year and the comfort cloth❤❤
Really enjoyed the mincemeat pie tutorial! Your home is beautiful ❤️. Making wonderful memories even when you don't feel like it -- is a good way to move forward in the journey of life. Kathryn you are a gem!
Happy holidays Kathryn, have a lovely time with your family. Looking forward to next year, many thanks for all your efforts this year and involving us in your life❤
Dear Kathryn I have watched you for a long time but don't comment but today I needed to tell you what a beautifull humble person you are,I love your little home and everything you have put together to make it into a cosy home full of love for yourself,Stella and Fredfred. You are the light that brightens the darkest days.wishing you a peacefull christmas with those you love ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much Elaine what a lovely thing to say. Much love to you ❤️
I so enjoyed your Chanel today.
Thank you Maxine lots of love and happy baking ❤️
I can feel all the love, the gratitude, the respect everyone is sending you. Its heartfelt, i know, because i join in these sentiments for you Kathryn. You've given us so much. We're looking forward to the New Year with you.
Your spirit is always eloquent even when the words fail you. Sending you and your little brood including sweet Stella much joy for your Christmas together. And sending love to all at this time, particularly those that may be struggling. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Thank you Christine, much love to you and Travers too ❤️
Love to you and your family x
@@barbaragordon8433 and to you and yours xx
Thank you for the heart felt comments for this holiday season. May you have a Happy and Healthy New Year! I enjoy your videos and look forward to the next year. 🤗
Enjoy your visit with the children.
Sooo beautiful. Your fortunate to have the pretty woods to walk through. I love it!❤
Thank you for all you have given us this year. I wish you peace and joy in this winter season. ❤️
Much love to you too Nancy, thank you so much for being here ❤️
Merry Christmas.
Dear Kathryn, thank you. Peace to you and your family. May the new year bring us all comfort, hope and joy xxx
My pleasure Louise and I second that ❤️
Thank you so much Kathryn for this lovely video reminding me of typical English things to do at Christmas or Yuletide.
THE GALLOPING GOURMET!! You're so good at recalling our young years. "excuse fingers...feet don't reach" xxxxx
😂❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Bella much love to you and your family ❤️
I love your living tree and your beautiful angel topper! It has been quite cold here in central Canada. Last I checked, Winnipeg has a 99% chance of having a white Christmas, so we are right on track.🌨❄⛄ I am always happy when the days start to lengthen as it means more daylight hours for crafting. Wishing you a wonderful holiday with your family!🎄♥😊
Happy Solstice to you and many blessings 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you and the same to you ❤️
@@k3n.clothtales 🙏🏻❤
Merry Christmas 🎄 thank you for sharing your self and your talents ❤
Thank you so much, happy Christmas to you too ❤️
I have heard what is in your heart and I am so grateful that I did.
Enjoy your children, I look forward to next year with you!❤
I used to love watching the Galloping Gourmet! I wish I could watch him again. Thanks for this video.
ua-cam.com/video/xqxw-_lCNk0/v-deo.htmlsi=AsDEKPrqU-s3M9k8 merry Christmas 😁❤️
@ Thank you! This brought back memories of watching with my mother and laughing at all his silly jokes! I wish you a blessed and peaceful Christmas!
We hear your heart Kathryn. Wishing you a very happy Christmas with your children and looking forward to more cloth adventures with you in the new year xx
Have a happy, peaceful Christmas with your children Kathryn. x
Merry Christmas Kathryn. Enjoy your holidays with your children as I’m sure you will.
How wonderful, what a lovely Dad ❤️
PS wishing you a happy Christmas and blessings for the return of the light, a peaceful restful start to the new year ❤️
Such a lovely thoughtful video.
Thank you Wendy, I must be getting old because jumping on the swing didn't even occur to me 😂 lots of love ❤️
Glad you found some mincemeat. Lots of love ❤️
Thank you for sharing your heart, and you have a lovely heart. Each day moving forward is a gift we give to ourselves and others. I used to love when my grandmother (also Kathryn) would make too much pastry, she put cinnamon and sugar on it and it was a great treat! Much love to you!
Love that your Granny was called Kathryn ❤️
Good morning Kathryn, Your reminiscing about you Grany; brought back so many memories of my own Gran. My mom's mother, she had 13 children and she made everything from scratch. I loved visits, we were always either baking or sewing when I would stay for a weekend. Mince pie was always her favorite. She taught me how to make Green tomato mincemeat. I still can smell the cinnamon and cloves as I write this. I haven't made mince pie in a while.... I think this is the year to do it. Thank you for bringing fond memories of holidays past. Blessings for a joyous Christmas and fruitful new Year.😘
Lots of love ♥️
Happy Christmas to you K3N. I know you will enjoy being with your children as i look forward to seeing mine. Peace to you this season as we look to the light
Hi Kathryn, I enjoy watching your park home life very much. I have kept my Christmas tree in a pot for over 15 years now and it is still very happy and looks great. It prefers more shade in the summer I've found. Your little reference to 'Babe, the sheep pig' made me laugh so much 'that'll do pig' I say that too 🤣!! Looking forward to seeing you planting your garden. Hope you enjoy your time with your children x
Thank you Louise, I will keep my tree in my little garden just outside the door which is quite shady and hope she lives as long as yours ❤️
Thank you Kathryn, for sharing your journey and spreading your light ✨🌟✨.
Sending you the very best of good wishes and every blessing in 2025. Keep twinkling away, because this is your gift 🌟🥰🌟
Katherine wishing you all the very best of the season. 🎄❤️
Have a lovely time Eileen. I always enjoy wrapping presents. ❤️
I was very lucky to learn from my Granny and my Mum but their non weighing doing things by feeling methods didn't sit well with Mrs Richards 😂❤️
Thank you Lisa, wishing you a peaceful happy time and much love ❤️
Kathryn, wishing you a very Merry Christmas, how wonderful you will be spending time with your children.
Your home is beautiful and full of peace and love and how you have made a nest for yourself.🥰
I also wanted to comment on how much joy you have brought to so many people this past year through your lovely videos and your talent.
Thank you for the light you bring to so many of us.❣🦋
That's a good saying ❤️
You express what is in your heart very well. Hope you enjoyed the mince tart.
I do love pies, sweet and savoury, real comfort food ❤️
Thank you Kathryn for a great year of stitching! I've learned so much and now have a lovely (very round) journal for 2024! I couldn't have done it without you!
Many blessings to you and have a very merry Christmas! (Cheryl from Texas)
Enjoy your time with your children and I wish you joy peace and 💕
I am going to give the mince pies a try.
A super catch up....😀Wishing you and those you love a peaceful Christmas and I'm really looking foward to following you in 2025 🤗 Andrea
Dear Kathryn! I wish you merry Christmas with your children and pets. Also I want to wish you a very happy nieuw year, exploring, creating and enjoying everything you do.
Thank you for teaching me how to handstitch, I had a great year with you, my friend.
Love from NL, Helene
Thank you Helene ❤️
Thank you so much Mary Ellen, rustic pies it is 😉 lots of love to you and Gracie from us all ❤️
Peace and love to you, Kathryn. 💕
Such lovely memories Julie, I am so pleased you have them too ❤️
Good to see you Kathryn. Warmest wishes for this season and going into 2025. A lot of not so Christmassy feelings here in the US as well. One day at a time. Blessings for your new life and I look forward to seeing more of your new home and fur friends and garden. xo
Thank you, wishing you a peaceful time and lots of love ❤️
It was lovely to see your mince pie-making and get a glimpse of your decorations and hear about your granny and feel your love for her. I love your ethos of using the tools at hand, whether that be your hands and fingers, the glasses as cutters, the lid as a baking dish, I love it all. I’m also very much looking forward to the turning of the year and the slow return of the light. Enjoy the time with your children. Soak up the love and let it nourish you for the coming year. ❤️🥳🫶🎄☀️
Thank you so much Rhonda, peace and happiness to you ❤️
Dearest Kathryn...I hope you can feel the big hug, love and peace I'm sending through this computer contraption.
Thank you Kim. Beautiful words ❤️
Always love your videos Kathryn, and your placid nature. Happy Christmas to you and every blessing for a happier New year.
Thank you. I’ve been so inspired this year. Thank you and bless you.
Thank you Mindy, wishing you a happy and peaceful time however you spend it, much love ❤️
I was picking out clothes from my drawer yesterday, and after I selected my item, I heard myself saying, "That'll do pig!" ❤😂😊
😂❤️❤️❤️
Happy holidays Kathryn, have a lovely time with your family. Looking forward to next year, many thanks for all your efforts this year and involving us in your life❤
Love to you and your family 💖🎄
Lezzetli görünüyor ellerinize emeğinize yüreğinize sağlık ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Thank you ❤️
