Well done! Easily the best review, and answers to real world questions we needed to know. No one else has even touched specifics like vibration, or gotten specific answers on the luggage capabilities. Or lack there of. Thank you so much for this informative and entertaining review👍🏻
Nice bike, but it's not swaying me from the 2022 S1000XR with the M package. It has plenty of power. I've never thought, 'Man, I wish this had 200 hp.'
I’m still not sure why they didn’t make an option for hard luggage on this one. I kind of think they missed a facet that would make this a lot more versatile.
Standard M1000XR comes in white and is £5k cheaper. Can only get it in black if you order the competition pack which is carbon wheels and other carbon/billet bling bits. Reckon those carbon wheels would last 2 minutes with all the potholes we have here!!
My sport tourer test: Rolling acceleration in 4th gear from 40 mph till 120 mph. Winner is the tourer motor I want. Max Horsepower at 14,500 RPMs barely matters.
Hey, I’ve been fooling you and your body on UA-cam for a long time but I haven’t seen him in your videos for a long time I was wondering where is he? What happened? I see that it’s been 2 years ago since he’s been on test video with you. I hope everything is OK with him.
@@davidavetisian8421 From what I found online, apparently he lost control of his motorcycle on a curve, on a wet road and collided with an oncoming car and then died during the transport to the hospital. Very sad, he seemed like a down to earth and good person from what I saw of him on UA-cam. RIP

Let's hope these engines hold up

I’ve owned 3 x XR’s & have ordered the new M-XR Competition. It’s great to hear that vibrations have been reduced in this newer model. Here’s hoping.
Kinda a little bit of a bummer that this model M XR can only carry soft luggage for being the most badass sport tourer coming on the market. 🤷♂️
@@SpecterSeventy2 I’m the opposite. I’m stoked to get an XR that doesn’t have the luggage racks.

Easy to do yourself. Just swap out the subframe with the one from the s1000xr
Good to see you buddy ride safe
Thanks 👍
Great video keep it up
The standard black model looks nice….👍

I was talking about the Black S1000XR that he shows us at 2:30 mins in video

You have to test it!
@@RacingandAdventure I think old one is ok but the stats of new one is uhhh
I would pick the MTV4 (Not RS) anytime between the XR and MTv4
Hope this guys means 138 KM of travel which is like 85 miles dude said 138 mm of travel which would only be 8 miles smh

Unfortunatelly he passed away.
@@RacingandAdventureSorry to hear 😢 ...what happened?
@@RacingandAdventureOMG that’s heartbreaking. I can’t believe this. I’m so sorry to hear that. If I can ask, was it from motorcycle accident?
