I think the concept of the song is really good. The melodies and everything fit the beat perfectly but I feel like he just freestyle it in one take and didnt go over it to polish it up cuz it literally sounds like raw vocals from a freestyle session. If he actually took his time and made the melodies more smooth and less raspy/out of breath it would be amazin and more people would like it. I like it for what it is tho

I appreciate how you were able to go into depth about the instrumentals and production work as well as recognizing Carti’s vocal talents without giving off any hate. And teen x) sure he has good songs on the project But honestly the mix is gross it is not at all professional, and the project looks more like a mock song playlist than an album and it's really regrettable for him and for us Because if he could do it is song in 3 weeks I wonder what the other songs he did in 2 and a half years look like. it's a shame about the big mess it could have been a classic and he could have had all the feat he wanted in this album the best engineers best producer really big mess.🙁
