Ayy! I bought an e46 a while ago, and she's treated me well. There are a couple of problems, but overall, it's a fantastic car when it's working :)
Agreed! When it’s working, it’s great lol
favorite channel right now- love your set up so much…the quality of these videos are awesome as well man. you put so much thoroughness to what you talk about…it definitely inspires me with my 2001 330i it’s been down for a couple months now. long ways to go
thanks a lot man, really appreciate the comment. Feedback like these really pushes me to pump out more content for people like you. love and respect
I gotta say dude I preferred the SSR wheels on your car. I got ssr gt3 replicas on my e46, look amazing. In my opinion best wheels for the e46 coupes aside from of course HRE’s. Way too expensive for me though 😂
Fair enough!
hey I own a 2005 e46 with an m56 engine. any advice/opinions on the m56 engine? also have a p0041 code for my post-cat o2 sensors, is it different to solve this problem with a m56 or does it not matter?
What do u think about the 330xi
Hold on to it or get the 330i
The 330i would be the better option. the XI parts are hard to come by.
Keep both, plates on 330i, keep 330xi as backup car.
Depends on what you need. I own both a 330xi and a 325xi. I live in Wisconsin so snow is a thing and the awd is amazing though the snow and even in the summer the awd is great with corners or digs. I'm biased as im a big awd guy and I'm a sucker for bmw let alone awd bmw so in the end it's up to you and what you need and desire. I can't do burnouts, and if I want to do a donut or drift, it has to be on gravel or in the rain or snow. So that's also a thing. But honestly if your in the states the awd e46s are almost just as common to find in junk yards as the rwd e46s. But as far as ordering new parts yes it's a bit harder but honestly not by much. You really just gotta know where to look. Plus there's always ebay and part outs on marketplace.
Also the 330xi is a bit better then the 325xi. I found my 330xi to be a bit better at accelerating but not by much. My 330xi is my pampered e46 while my 325xi is used and abused as a "street rally car" lol. I race my 325xi alot on dirt but it's also my daily in the winter so more rust. It's really up to preference. And if the 330xi is more attainable price wise you can always rwd swap it which isn't horrible but it definitely is a job.
Also for more information.
05 bmw 330xi stock and pampered auto.
02 bmw 325xi manual loved but not pampered.
Edit 1:spelling.
Edit 2: I know the 330xi being auto makes it a bit quicker on the shifts and having a bit "bigger" engine helps also but you get what I mean.
I found a 2000 320i 6cylinder Sedan 5spd manual 150hp, sunroof and electric front windows 265.000km at 2100 euro, is this a good deal?
I would save a bit more and get a 330i
@@hellodanielchoi I live in Romania, The bigger the engine, the more expensive the taxes are sadly, if anything is bigger than a 2 liter..
PlZ do carmeets
