@@AldoFelt mechanically it’s doing great. Slows down a minute or two per month like most autos. Cosmetically not so good but that’s my fault. I love my Dumas and wear it daily. Every now and then I go back to the marathon SAR. Cheers from Alabama 🫡
I got my this watch today and I must say this is one of my best buy ever. The crystal is so smooth to touch and amazingly clear. All the hours marks and hands are almost like 3D to my eyes because all the marks are quite tall and depth of dial is deep if I compare to most of my watches. The watch looks much better in person on my 6.5 inches wrist and not big at all, maybe a bit tall to someone but from my viewing angle is perfect high to look. The black color on the dial is purely dark black that I can see my own reflection clearly on the crystal and that dial looks so deep black that make everything pop, even spinnaker letters are so clear. Only the criticism is the mesh strap that came as free one I can forget about. I couldn't make it work because buckle doesn't click and hold it properly. The mesh is so thick and not flexible to use. the rubber strap is perfect for this watch. Super comfortable, stay in place and light weight that I forgot the watch is on my wrist. I wish the hour hand is a little longer but already got used to it and other than that everything is a perfect watch.
It's a beauty, the orange hands and dial detail reminds me of an old timberland beater I wore for years. One of these would really suit a jubilee style bracelet.
Hello Jody 😊 I just wanted to say that I’ve been enjoying all of your videos a lot. Watches with really great value for money is not something so commonly covered and I do love your collection. Recently I’ve customized my own Seiko SKX 007 costing me around 378$ (including the watch itself) and I love it to the moon thanks to your video. Keep up the good work my friend, cheers 😊
For diving, you want a huge minute hand. Minutes are your critical measure. Sometimes confusion sets in during a dive and the disparity in sizes between the hands makes it easy to quickly determine how much time has passed since going in the water.
When I saw this on a Facebook ad, I knew 100% right away you'd be doing a review of that watch within a matter of time and I've been waiting for it. Great review yet again, Jody! Hahahahahaha! 9:39 I'm guilty of this! Sorry! That correction made my day and it's not even half-way through yet!
I really enjoy your videos you really do a great job reviewing the watches. Every watch that I bought that you reviewed has lived up or exceeded your descriptions thank you for doing honest reviews keep it up!
Once again Jody, you give us a spectacular, no biased review. Personally I love the look but at 45mm it might be too big for everyday wear. Would love to see it on a NATO strap though. Keep up the great work!
Thank you Jody for another great review! I do like this spinnaker and the 70s look. I own a seiko monster gen 2 black dial on a mesh and I like the on top of the whrist look. The nh35 can get more accurate if demagnetized and adjusted. Wish you all the best from a small country named Romania!
Nice Diver!! I think Spinnaker did a good job on this one, and it certainly stands out in the crowd of sub $300 divers. I have plenty of dive style watches, including a Spinnaker Bradner, so now one needs to have some kind of unique style/feature to catch my eye. I think this one will make it to my "Short List", especially with a mesh strap, sapphire crystal, color matched date wheel, mineral crystal bezel, and all that lume (I'm a sucker for lots of lume). Add to that the fact that it hacks, and hand winds.....well there you go........"Short List" it is...thanks for sharing!!
Jody it must be known that spinnaker are a brilliant watch company but they use FedEx and YOU WILL get a bill from them after delivery. I'm super pissed I've got to pay another £49.23 TAX and import duty. That now puts the price up to a samurai bought in the January sales!.

Honestly this looks decent. Spinnaker is clearly paying good attention to the watch enthusiast community and its current design preferences. It's kinda surprising how Spinnaker came up out of nowhere a couple of years back and have quickly expanded into a prominent affordable-asian-watch player.
Love the dial, can't get behind the case though. Spinnaker have some great ideas, not sure why they always seem to sour right before I put down the cash. Looking forward to your top 10!
The more I see it the more I like it. I find the black one much nicer then the blue. I find the 1970s styled divers very appealing. The color scheme does remind me of a Doxa Sharkhunter. I’m thinking an Isofrane style strap would look good with such a large case.
This is A GREAT looking diver for the price, slight homage to the old Omega as you suggested. I will be buying one & a couple for a few gifts as I love the orange on this watch. As I say orange is the new black, not sure why I like the orange of watches so much ATM but I do.
I didn't think I was going to like this watch but I actually think it's quite a handsome piece. The bold case styling and choice of colors together with that dial makes it aesthetically appealing. That being said I think I would still prefer a Helm over this though.
Spinnaker do make some good looking watches. Think this one is too big for me, and really not sure about the Kipper tie minute hand. But I'm sure it will go down well with many others. Great review as always 👍
love the color combination on the dial. However, as you said, it would look much nicer and balances out much better if they would have used a nice metal bracelet. Nonetheless nice looking watch, Jody. thanks for your review.

Its a decent looking thing but I think it will only work on top of a wetsuit sleeve as a cheaper/poverty alternative to a Ploprof.. And it would help if it was 1972 and your name was Jaques.......
I would never get a Spinnaker you could get good Swiss made quality for $280 and a diver too, but this one... On the mesh strap... Man now that would be a beautiful watch. Looks way more expensive than it is, if I ever decide to buy a Spinnaker it would be this one. It's definitely not the good awful leather strap 150 meter water resistance never comes with a metal bracelet but always does come with a godawful miyota 8 thousand series movement over priced trash of a watch you usually see outta Spinnaker. I am very impressed, well done Spinnaker well done. It gets the nod from me at the $280 price point although no other Spinnaker ever has. Like I said before they are usually over priced trash, sorry just my opinion, and unfortunately the truth.
Not a bad looking watch but too large and too thick for me. I think you said it was not Safire glass and has the same movement from Seiko that they put in $ 50 dollar Invicta diver. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Does not seem worth the money. The other question is where is Spinaker made?
Nice, but I prefer my Turtle - cheaper,a known quantity & an iconic watch by the original manufacturer. The Spinnaker is another microbrand "inspired by" someone else's design , made by a company that has little history & an unknown future. I do like the style, but wouldn't buy a microbrand watch that lacked originality & was such good value that it was irresistible (I own a Christopher Ward Classic for example) Good review, Cheers 👍⌚
The 24 hour markings perplex me. The dial with its raised indices was attractive without it and now they've just cluttered up the dial for no good reason. This is not a GMT watch and its not a military watch so the 13 to 24 markings are about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. Also, hour hands are the ones that are traditionally thicker so this one goes against well established horological design language. Fix these two points (and maybe the bezel insert) and it's a winner.

Spinnaker quality is very good for its price, my only suggestion for them is, please put their watch on diet, its all too big n thick
I like it maybe change strap.
I really like the dial but not a fan of the case.
prometheus trireme !
