I love JPJ he’s a player I know will make a roster better! It’s such a deep tackle class, if you can’t get your guy round 1 there will be plenty of other options in round 2 or 3 just like you mentioned! 😁😁
He had a tough time deciding between JPJ and Fautanu. Man I hope that’s the exact situation we end up in. I disagree with dude about Fautanu. I think he’s freaking awesome. He can play LT no problem. He will be unbelievable in Arthur Smiths system. That said, JPJ is a rockstar! These guys are my 2 favorite players for Steelers in round 1. I trust Omar to decide between them. I’m stoked regardless.
My 3.0 Mock: 1.Bears- Caleb Williams 2.Commanders- Jayden Daniels 3.Patriots trade pick with Vikings (11 & 23)- Drake May 4.Cardinals- Marvin Harrison 5.Chargers- Joe Alt 6.Giants- Malik Nabers 7.Titans- Troy Fautanu 8.Falcons- Laiatu Latu 9.Bears - Dallas Turner 10.Jets- Taliese Fuaga 11.Patriots - JJ McCarthy 12.Broncos trade pick to Jaguars- Romeo Odunze 13.Raiders- Olumuyiwa Faushanu 14.Saints- JC Latham 15.Colts- Brock Bowers 16.Seahawks- Jackson Powers Johnson 17.Broncos- Bo Nix 18.Bengals- Amarius Mims 19.Rams- Jared Verse 20.Steelers- Quinyon Mitchell 21.Dolphins- Chop Robinson 22.Eagles- Nate Wiggins 23.Patriots - Brian Thomas Jr. 24.Cowboys- Tyler Guyton 25.Packers- Terrion Arnold 26.Buccaneers- Graham Barton 27.Cardinals- Jerzahn Newton 28.Bills trade pick to Giants- Michael Penix 29.Lions- Cooper Dejean 30.Ravens-Darius Robinson 31.49ers- Byron Murphy jr. 32.Chiefs- Adonai Mitchell
Your draft is better than 99% of the others because you understand the Jets Offensive line situation. Most of these fools try and pawn off Bowers on the Jets when everyone knows Bowers wasn’t asked to pass block at Alabama. With an older QB like Rodgers that is a recipe for disaster. Great job.
i like seeing other opinions. But for seattle if fauntanu falls id 100% take him he will move to LG for us and will be able to play both tackles. This is nice because our RT abe lucas may have chronic knee problems (they wont tell us anything about his surgery). If lucas happens to not be able to play fauntanu can fill his spot till next years draft where we could draft a RT high up. (ofc im hoping for the best that lucas will come back healthy)but fauntanu would be a very nice pick to put next to cross and olu.
Thanks for the comment! I’ve gone Fautanu to Seattle a ton and love that fit. I think the best fit for Seattle is actually JPJ and then address RT in round 3 but since Mike McDonald is the HC and given what we know I think IDL is the correct predictive pick. Either way Seattle will beef up the trenches one way or another which is always a good thing 😁😁😁
If the Vikes move up for JJ I think they’ll stay put and take Nix imo but maybe they are worried of getting leaped again and slide up to 8 or 9 for Nix
You know what I would like to see?? Chargers trade Justin Herbert for Vikings 11,23 and future first. I know its a laugh but wouldnt that make for some draft drama
I could see the Bengals coming up to #9 for Odunze or Bowers. After tagging Tee Higgins, Cincy wants some insurance. Bears get #18 and #50.. maybe a 2025 4th as a sweetener.
It was to be aggressive and get the highest potential LJ replacement and not let the Steelers take him or Cowboys jump Philly! Just an idea and Philly is an aggressive org. It definitely makes sense, less than ideal is a different convo 😂
I agree. Losing on Latu for Chop for pick 131. Doesnt make sense. Theres a significant gap in production there. Either way its still a bet, Latu on health and Chop on traits. I really like chop but he was so abysmal against the run it turns me off him.
@@Red_Sea_ idk how it's not close either way or how one guy skillset wise would have a gap from the others. i feel most edges this year are the same mystery lootbox. people might hate on Chop but yet someone be okay with Dallas turner much higher? and its like wha? double spiderman meme!
@@tvtda1 I think Verse is the safest and my favorite, Latu is probably the best but obviously the health concerns even though hes been healthy for 2 years, Turner I definitely dont see edge 1 but cant deny the athleticism and build, Chop is a complete bet on his athleticism but has tiny arms. I can see the comparison between Dallas and Chop but Dallas has much more length and the production.
I’m not even kidding when I almost had the bills go all in and trade up for Odunze. If the secondary didn’t get absolutely deleted I probably would have done it haha
@@thepyloncam that's fair but I'm still bitter ab when the chiefs traded ahead of us for McDuffie so them doing so again for one of my favorite prospects made me cry inside a little lol.
I really don’t think they’ll take him which is what I was alluding to during my analysis on the pick. I try to script these mocks out for time sake and to not ramble but the light went on as I was talking about the pick. I don’t think it makes sense to take Nix or any QB because you won’t be able to take advantage of the salary cap at all because the money to build the roster is still being paid to Russ over the next two years. I think edge or CB would have been a better pick.
Name a qb Harbaugh ever had like Herbert? The 2nd highest paid player in nfl history lol. Sure they want to be run 1st smh! They should've traded for fields if that were the case 😅
he does wanna be run first though, and honestly its kinda hilarious, how he needs to flip the chargers personnel entirely to play his style. i been wondering if they either go Fuaga or Latham just because that's their style they wanna employ. i wouldn't think Jackson Powers Johnson is out of the Question either.
@tvtda1 idk. I just think they have the weakest rb room in the league, in a weak rb class. Herbert is their #1 asset. Have to use him. I'm sure he had to sell them on a plan for their $50+ mil a yr qb investment. Especially after shipping all of his weapons out! I do like Bowers going there though.
I do agree a ton. I have gone edge for the rams a bunch in the past, that was my biggest takeaway from the wildcard game. They could not get to Goff at all - big upgrades needed on the defensive line if they want to win any post season games. Please come back for the next video!
Marv won't workout, like Marv won't take press conference Questions at the combine either and do his job for the league and the media, it potentially quite honestly easily comes of as an arrogant nepo brat, maybe even laziness. it's honestly an approach that deserves to fail. maybe he's willing to give private workouts with teams during visits, that's not what i've heard. he's conflicting because you hear that he's all business, but he's actions come off as him being too cool for school rightfully so it should concern and confuse a lot of gms and i don't mind him falling because he's good against college kids, but this was never a dude who should walking around with his 40 unconfirmed. there's a lot of important he's cheated evaluators out of. it's the epitome of fall worthy. wouldn't be surprised at all if he falls out of the top 5.
So I did some digging on this, I disagree with the national outrage about it. What is the reward for him to do these drills and do these interviews? His team has reported he’s focused on the NFL and everyone at OSU has not a negative thing to say about his character or work ethic. His father is probably the driving factor in all this and wants him preparing for the NFL rather than learn how to excel at some drills which won’t boost his stock any higher. MHJ is already the best non QB player in the draft and will be the first non QB selected if a team is silly enough to take a receiver over him because they are mad he didn’t interview then it’s their loss imo. Every question about MHJ can be answered by watching his film.
