I agree with Kath, it's weird if someone doesn't at least ask you one question back. I'm an introvert too but I've gotten better at asking people questions because learning about others can be fascinating and you could have a lot in common or hear a cool point of view.
I just wanted to say something about the gender reveal disappointment segment:
I come from a culture which heavily emphasises a preference for boy babies over girl babies. My sister and I both know that we were a source of grief and disappointment to our dad and his side of the family when we were born. In fact, people cried because we weren’t boys. I know it’s an extreme example of gender disappointment, but it hurts to know that I wasn’t good enough for them. What’s even worse is, in my parents culture and in other cultures throughout the world, girls are expected to be servile and dutiful towards their parents, yet we are seen as burdens. The good news is that people are slowly changing and much of the younger generation has a completely different outlook. I hope that one day girls and boys will be seen equally as a gift. I know that my comment isn’t relevant to what Christina said because this type of thinking isn’t common in the West (thankfully) as far as I know, but I just wanted to share my experience. :D

I relate so so so much to Lauren about vacations being for sleep and rest. Every single time we have a long weekend because of holidays, my friends consider that a time to make plans and like I am fine with doing something, but my plan for that long weekend was to rest from the week. Like...my plan is literally to do nothing. Also struggling with small talk. Lauren, you are one of the few people on social media that I relate to so much.
I am also a serial spoiler for myself like Amy haha I’ve ruined so many shows by looking at the Fandom pages and then getting spoiled for the end! Definitely one of my toxic traits!

I like to read the end of shows/books/movies before I take the journey. I like to prepare myself to not get attached to certain characters or situations in case it goes poorly.
If filling up your gas tank is annoying, pair it with another task! For me, I love filling up because it’s also my opportunity to clean out my car!! Otherwise the trash starts to pile up lol

I absolutely love sad endings too Lauren! I think movies or shows with sad endings leave a bigger impact on me than movies or shows that are happy and get tied up all perfectly in a bow. A lot of my friends think I’m crazy because of it

I seek out spoilers to motivate me to watch the show. So I can build up anticipation to the spoiler. Cuz sometimes a show can get boring and I'll drop it but if I know something cool is gonna happen (the spoiler) I'll push through the show to see how the spoiler happened. Usually I'm happier for it.

That's so weird/ rude..... thats too many people not engaging for me, that's just weird/rude like... those are basic questions lol, even if one makes you uncomfortable like maybe you aren't working, but small talk with new people is so easy cause you don't know each other and you don't run out of things to ask
Christina and Katherine- 100 percent agree with you. Children aren't here for their parents' sake. They ultimately belong to God and are their own person.
I relate to Lisa sooo much, I really am caffeine sensitive and it just messes me up so bad and I never understood why !!

The reason you're not supposed to run your vehicle on a low fuel tank is that if there is any sediment such as rust or other impurities in your fuel, they will have collected in the bottom of the tank and be pushed back into circulation. Your car does have a fuel filter, so it should catch any sediment, but it's more about not making your fuel filter do unnecessary work or suddenly overwhelming it with a large amount of sediment.

I feel like sometimes those disappointments arent from not having a certain gender but bc they were wrong ... I have no problem with this discussion AT ALL!! LOVE THAT ITS BEING DISCUSSED... BUUUTT I will say some people are VERY competitive and get super into being correct so when they guess the gender wrong it SHOWS !!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

I totally agree with Christina, my sister had a miscarriage and I believe with all my heart… all she wanted was for the baby to be healthy. The gender of the baby was the last of her concerns. People just have their priorities in the wrong direction.
Planning and being active is rest for me when it's something I enjoy. If I have too many days of doing nothing, I get anxious, but it's nice to occasionally have a rest day.
Yes spoilers all day everyday. I watch a movie with my husband and I ALWAYS google the ending. I cant deal with the long drawn out story lol

I went to western-ish Maine last summer with friends. We went to a ski town so it was kinda empty but we went hiking and the Airbnb had a hot tub and it was so fun!
34:30 Lauren, YES!!! I 💯 agree. I seriously thought I was the only person who had that opinion. I don’t want to come home tired and exhausted, I want to come home feeling well rested and ready to go back to work.
I know Kath talk about the insecurity of gaining weight during pregnancy, but when I look at back at how she looked 2 years ago I see a completely different person. Kath now has joy all over her face! She seams more sure of herself and is connected to what really matters to her. I think she's gorgeous and I love seeing this new and improved version she is growing into ❤ insecurity sucks, but you are still a beautiful woman inside and out Kath!!

I agree with Lauren, movies like Moulin Rouge and You Are Not You (I really recommend it!) are so nice to watch even though they are SO sad
I live near Maine, and can confirm it is beautiful! If you want to "avoid" the crowds, you have to go to Freeport and above (more northern Maine). Southern Maine is also beautiful on the coast, but much more touristy.
where in "it's a wonderful life" does George "violate" Mary? the whole movie is about how much he loves her and his kids…?
Maine is lovely! There's a lot of cute small towns, country, trees, and even Bar Harbor the popular tourist spot is not as bad as most touristy places. Definitely recommend going!
I also don't like to watch shows or movies if I don't know how it is going to end. If I know something really bad is gonna happen, I lose all motivation to watch it anymore. I get too emotional invested like a bad thing happening in a show or movie can literally ruin my day/week.
The spoiler part, yes I fully agree with you Amy!!! 90% of the time, I have to know what will happen in a movie before watching it. I don't want my 2-hours to be wasted lol
I completely agree with Chris about the gender disappointment! I feel like people should go into the pregnancy knowing their child could be either gender and just be excited about who they will be as a person.

Love wacthing you guys, but I think Amy and Lauren should sit in between Christina, Lisa, or Katherine. We dont get to see them much or hear them a lot because they're on the side
I know...Some parents are very desperate for making their ideal robots by having kids, which is a part of our instinct. They tend to struggle and suppress their kids when their own identities start growing. Babies are not parents' robots or clones although they need help to grow!
Sorry but I get the feeling that Lauren is being really mean towards Kath. Anyone else? I'm also very introverted and sometimes I tend to get irritated by not so deep q's, but rolling her eyes every time Kath speaks... Yikes. It's not being and introvert, it's being rude.
Omg yes i notice this in every podcast or video about Lauren... I love them but i hate seeing how Lauren rolls her eyes and mocks each question Kath asks as if she doesn’t understand. And then when Christina brought up her gender reveal opinion, she was being so rude and condescending 😭 her excuse of being an “introvert and quiet” has nothing to do with it bc I’m also an introvert and have 5 sisters… it’s just plain rude
I don’t know if she was being mean but Kath is an extrovert and Lauren is an introvert so sometimes they have different opinions on things and they were struggling to understand eachother on the small talk thing .

I'm with Amy on the Hallmark movies. I like being able to predict how it will end and the comfort of a guaranteed happy ending. However, I want to figure out the ending of the movie myself, not by other people. I HATE sad endings and will not willingly watch a movie with one.
its only bad to run low on gas like when the light gets on! the plumb for the gas can get damage because the flow of gas can be on and off when you are already on reserve
I also love hamburgers way more than cheeseburgers! I do love cheese though but hamburgers just hit different
I agree that you're allowed to stop being friends with someone any time you want but to expect people not to be hurt by it is a bit inconsiderate. People are allowed to be hurt. If someone's friendship meant a lot to you and then it ends, especially abruptly, that may hurt you. There's nothing wrong wrong with being upset by a friendship ending.

I like sad movies too. My fav movies are: „TFIOS“, „Bridge to Terabithia“ and „One Day“. And I like crying while watching sad movies. 😂 And I like rewatching the same movies, tv shows and sometimes like reading about a movie or show before watching it (spoiling myself), bc I don‘t like being disappointed. 😂😆
Oh and Christina: I absolutely agree with you. Aaaabsolutely! It‘s okay thinking „it would be cool to have a …“ but honestly I get so angry and sad watching „gender reveal videos“ where one of both parents looks diappointed or anything other than: „😃😍🥳“. That‘s a BIG one for me too. 😑
