Totally disgusted with Fox for firing Tucker Carlson. The liberal mainstream media has had contempt for the Murdochs and now conservatives hate them too.
Yeah and Fox did not fire Tucker Carlson because he "was too big" or Murdoch was "jealous." Carlson was fired stealth-like, right before he was going on the air and he was fired very soon after he interviewed RFK Jr. with a lot of respect and after his increasing criticisms of Zelensky and the NATO-led evisceration of Ukraine. He was fired because someone much, much more powerful than old Rupert Murdoch decided it was too dangerous to have Carlson stating (and letting other people state) the absolutely unmentionable to a huge audience.

Fox had to fire him. Well, they didn't have to. The Murdochs were too stupid to go into a lawsuit with Dom. They would have won. That was just a dumb business decision laying ethics aside.

I used to listen to Glen Beck and Eric Bolling. They were both very good. Yes I did enjoy listening to Glen Beck. He was the one who brought me to the right.

*Roger Ailes problem with Beck was 1. He didn't understand anything he ever said and 2. He wasn't historically savvy. Beck occupied a planet Ailes had never lived on. Information can be a double-edged sword. It can cause a disconnect especially when the guy signing your paycheck is the one feeling disconnected.*
There's 'History' and there's History. Beck went outside of the 'approved' textbook milk and cookies version of history American children have been cursed with for 100 years. A lot of the things he covered no one had ever heard of before. Thats why they don't print it in textbooks. Just like you'll never find the truth about for ex. Charles Darwin in a textbook. In fact, the Darwin that occupies textbooks and the Darwin who actually lived have never met.

Bullseye! Check out what I see for Rupert Murdoch for this year. And this year will be the fall of him and Fox News.Expect the headquarters of Fox News in the tall building across Radio City Music Hall to be vacant, and the entire skyscraper building where it is located at will be empty. I am a New Yorker who grew up in NYC during the Mad Men era of the 1960s and I know what I am talking about. 770 something million dollars to Dominion paid to them and not wanting to fight them in court. I also had Economics 101 in the 1960s.

Tucker became bigger than the Fox brand... this was unacceptable to Murdoch... but all oligarchs and corporations find this untenable.. this is the natural business of power
Same reason Record Labels never sign real talent anymore. Absolute Control is what 'FIRMS' are after because they are expected to be POLITICAL engines for the WEF now.
Whatever anyone thought or thinks of FOX News, much like talk radio, Ailes recognized the need for Conservative or traditional views and turned it into what he did - whatever his flaws were which I am not minimizing. But like anything else, no one is irreplaceable and no one stays in one place forever. whatever FOX will become and with a new regime there, if it doesn't reflect it's core audience, someone else will find them, woo them and take them.
Removing Ailes was the first step in a long, downward spiral into oblivion for Fox Lite. Goodbye and good riddance.

I remember when Megyn was with Bret Baier and Donna Brazil in the presidential debates between Trump and Clinton. Fox was so nasty to Trump giving Clinton all the questions beforehand and Donna Brazil got called out but they were all in on it.

I haven't had cable in years and it's been a decade since I've watched news on TV (cnn and all that). I enjoyed Tucker while he was on but now I get all of my news online, and many shows outside of this country. There's no place for entertainment in journalism.

Roger Ailes built Fox from scratch. I remember the first year and all the technical difficulties and it was kind of crazy but that is what it made it so interesting. By the 10 year anniversary Fox was a power to be reckoned with and had a stellar lineup. I liked everything but Hannity and Colmes because of all the screaming. Greta was friends with Alan Colmes and she made me realize he was a kind man and even if I did not agree with many of his views I respected him. Hannity was a blowhard bully and I could never follow him on Fox or on his radio show.
I am so sorry for whatever harassment the women endured. The details are none of my business and unfortunately a lot of men do this and not just at Fox but all the cable and legacy news. It seemed like when the show Mad Men came out maybe some guys thought they could hassle women like back in the 1950s and Sixties. Aside from that Ailes was a genius. The slogans "We Report You Decide" and Fox Business "The Power to Prosper" were absolutely brilliant.
Fox is falling apart and serves them right because now more than ever people want the truth and independent journalists are not beholden to corporations like Raytheon and Pfizer.
"Fair and Balanced" was another catch phrase.
I don’t understand what’s wrong with us. I’m a second generation American. My grandfather immigrated and fought in World War II. He survived, but the America he knows is not the same that I live. I feel we need something new when it comes to TV or documentaries. I have no idea what that could be but I love that movie the patriot. It’s a Mel Gibson movie. He’s an Australian actor, but it is awesome lol. I served my country for 13 years. Sometimes I wonder what the hell I came back to. Can somebody please tell me what a fought fought for. I believe it was liberty before when I can see it seems not true am I wrong?
Actually Mel Gibson was born in America Peekskill NY and moved to Australia at age 12 with his family.

The very first time I saw Glenn Beck I had no clue who he was ( on CNN!), I was flipping channels, and back then I wasn’t into politics at all. But whatever he said (don’t remember anymore) caught my attention so much that I’m still listening to him. When he left CNN I didn’t know who he was and sorta was a little bit saddened that I couldn’t find his show. Until one day I found him on the Fox channel (still flipping channels) and found out his name!

Yes, you are right that Eric Bolling didn't bring up the accusations made against Ailes by women at FOX. I'm sure that would have been awkward for his wife to address. Really glad Megyn brought them up because she certainly shed light on them with her unique past, having worked with Ailes.
Nevertheless, the Eric Bolling was excellent because we heard directly from Mrs Ailes. I learned alot from both programs.

I never liked how fawning Fox was over president George W. Bush, BUT after Bush left the presidency, I began watching Fox because they were the only ones giving a different perspective from MSNBC et al. Many well-liked and conservative hosts - Beck, the big one before Tucker Carlson, but also many people like Eric Boling as you mentioned and Ed Henry. I miss Pete Segseth and Will Cain and Greg Gutfeld and some others, but I quit watching Fox even before Fox fired Tucker. I watched selectively only via You Tube. Now, I scroll on by and head to Valuetainment, Newsmax, and OAN.

I think, for my two cents, that the middle and working classes are shifting much harder from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party. Navigating this shift is very exposing to those leaders still on autopilot from the 80's. Just my two cents.
Many Democrats are still under the delusion that the Democrat Party is "for the working class". The evidence says otherwise. They have been at war with the working class for a very long time.
The first thing Fox should do is go find everyone who was censored and put them back on. Alex Jones, Gavin mcguiness, etc. let them build some new conflict. One hour 8 minute sections for 4 very divisive characters. Both sides will watch

Michael Moynihan wanted to say that Roger Ailes would have fired Tucker Carlson too, just like he did with the ratings star Glen Beck, because Beck was too far right for Fox News and Tucker would have been no different..... but seemed to think better of it and just started stuttering..... kind of a shame since I would have loved to have seen Megyn's response to that scenario, knowing all the key players.
I dare say Michael was correct and Roger Ailes would have auto-corrected the situation before the Murdochs got involved directly... Tucker is in many ways a natural product of the void left in Fox News by the departure of Roger Ailes and Bill O'Reilly back in 2016

If she's attracted to the guy she often doesn't consider it harassment. I'm close friend with an Ass. D.A. who Ive had this conversation with many times. When she got her first job at a LawFirm there was an older lawyer there she found attractive. He rubbed her back or patted her bottom and told dirty jokes. She confessed to me she LIKED IT because she was attracted to him. There was another guy there who did similar things but she did NOT like it. She even jokes that 'When you're hot its flirting. When you're not its harassment.' Likewise, when you get you what you want out of the interaction it was 'worth it.' When you're no longer getting your way it isn't. I've seen a lot of questionable interactions in the job place. I've never seen a woman cry 'harassment' until she felt jilted. I've even seen it initiated by women with Dept. Heads when they're after a promotion or a transfer. There are so many factors to 'harassment' allegations. I knew a Senior Pastor who's office had CCTV and was always bugged. It wasn't exactly 'legal' in that state but it later became legal for businesses to install cameras. Anyway, a woman claimed this pastor came up behind her in his office and rubbed her shoulders. She told the local media and was going to sue the Church. Lo and behold 9 other women soon joined. The Church's Board and Lawfirm advised them to hold back knowledge of the offices and premises being wired. It was a PR challenge but in just 2 weeks 9 more women joined and then their Lawyers informed their Lawyers they had each instance and every interaction on Camera and their affidavits were perjured. That entire scandal disappeared over night and the Pastor and Church came out on top. When I see the Pile On Effect I immediately lose interest.*

When you fire the guy who brought in all those ‘clients’ cuz that’s what your audience is. They are your clients then basically you F’d them over. How do you think they’re gonna take that?? This happened to my son at a big corporation he works for him. He was the chief operating officer. He ran the company for the owners who were abusive, aggressive, and could not relate to their underlings very well, so my son calculated his accent when he left all the other employees were freaking out, and I think seven or eight of them left within days and went to other companies because he was the buffer for the employees who couldn’t stand the owners of the company.
