Explanation of why houses burn but trees do not explained by AI: While wood itself can burn, the moisture content of a living tree is often high enough to hinder rapid burning. Many trees in fire-prone environments have developed thick bark that acts as a heat shield, preventing the inner cambium layer from being burned even when the outer bark chars. Trees have a more natural, tapered shape that allows flames to rise and dissipate, whereas houses have flat surfaces that can easily trap heat and facilitate the spread of fire. Houses contain many flammable materials like furniture, curtains, and insulation that contribute significantly to rapid fire spread.

If you have never seen anything as destructive as this, as the reporter says, then he must have missed the Paradise Fire in Northern California that destroyed the whole town several years ago.......
No, Pacific Palisades is not “in the heart of LA”. It’s a very wealthy town on the far north western edge of Los Angeles, approx 20 miles west of downtown. Yes IT IS “a suburb” - a very wealthy suburb! God, I guess it’s useless to expect only facts from FOX! 🙄
Yes, this is not the heart of or anywhere near the central part of LA. It is one of the wealthiest enclaves in the entire LA county and is located in the picturesque north-western coastal area. I fully expect that city, county, state and federal officials and entities will put high efforts to get assistance and remedies to the homeowners and businesses in PP because it is a very wealthy area. Not like Paradise, Lahaina, NC and other areas still needing assistance and remedies and seemed to be forgotten. I feel for the people living in PP and hope there are no human losses. But just you watch who's helping, how much and how quickly.
Excellent reporting by Fox team and Jonathan Hunt. Like the details Jonathan puts in on the neighborhood. Such devastation. Prayers to the many families who homes have been destroyed.
Amen to that! God the Most High is showing us He is all powerful. I pray people believe in Jesu Christ as our savior. Time for people to repent and turn away from sin and lots of prayer is needed!
The ONLY good thing about these fires, devastation, is that ppl who were attached to CA or their homes, or couldn't afford to move now can. :( They don't have to pay $10k for a UHaul. I would be one of them. I have way too many animals to evacuate, so I would be one of the casualties. I pray that never happens, mostly because I don't want my animals (kids) to suffer. I BEG of G-d to intervene & stop these fires NOW, supernaturally. PLEASE pray for the ppl, animals, area. Thanks everyone.
Did anyone notice the map at the beginning of the video? There was an island of the coast of the LA area that was in the active fire zone. How does that happen?

@@terrym9435 that a.i. still didn't explain why the trees didn't burn. It said tress have a tapered shape to allow flames to rise & dissipate but the trees didn't burn at all genius.
@@helennethers9777 that was literally the detailed explanation , you are trying too hard to think the earth is flat😂
@helennethers9777 water in the trees
That's heartbreaking. Those homes aren't cheap. They really need to update the building code to require firebreaks and prevent the fire from spreading.
More additional codes and permits is what prevents california from building homes fast enough to replace the ones we’ve lost.
It is one of the things making California homes so expensive, inspectors arent cheap and take forever to show.
Todas las construciones son de papel!!!!
What started this fire I wonder
that's what I want to know
with the high winds anything could have started it
@@sportsman4545 doesn't take much with the winds we had. A simple downed power line by the winds can start it and the winds will also make it spread as fast as we have seen.

Sad. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be told to go back to your home with an inferno raging.
Sending prayers from the v.i to everyone affected 🙏
Excellent job by that Journalist in reporting on the current situations along with his personal experiences. Its heartbreaking to think about the panic of families with no means to evacuate or where to even safely evacuate to. My prayers to all those affected by these fires and for the First Responders risking their lives. Hopefully the winds subside and air drops can begin soon.

Good reporter!.
There is fire 🔥 all over the world. 🙏
This is a land grab. Like NC. Hawaii. Remember Paradise, CA? Haven’t heard nothing about what happened to the people? This was intentional. Sorry. 😢😢😢
Chinas richest need that prime real estate…
Yep ... totally agree.
Any time there’s a forest fire that burns houses and leaves the trees unharmed you should be suspicious.
There rules and regulations but high fire zones need fire sprinklers and no two stories

Sending prayers to those suffering this tragedy in Los Angeles ... So devastating to see houses just crumbled like that.. Thinking of those families.. 😢😢😢😢
Years of covering wild fires? Why don’t you have the management and evacuation plans?
I didnt realize how big it was! Just wow! God help them!
If you have never seen anything as destructive as this, as the reporter says, then he must have missed the Paradise Fire in Northern California that destroyed the whole town several years ago.......
Homes and cars turned to ash but trees and bushes untouched?
just like Lahaina
Lol😂 I know

No, Pacific Palisades is not “in the heart of LA”. It’s a very wealthy town on the far north western edge of Los Angeles, approx 20 miles west of downtown. Yes IT IS “a suburb” - a very wealthy suburb! God, I guess it’s useless to expect only facts from FOX! 🙄
Very close to LA compared to San Fran or San Diego !
People don’t realize how big California is and in comparison, these fires are almost in LA
Matt 13:36-40 Sending prayers
And what caused the fires?
All it takes is a lit cigarette butt with this kind of winds and dry vegetation.
Power line fell hitting bushes and the dryness on the bushes caused the fire
Decrepit infrastructure?

ASHES IN THE WIND !!!! Love John !!!!
So sad. God bless them all 🙏
The ONLY good thing about these fires, devastation, is that ppl who were attached to CA or their homes, or couldn't afford to move now can.
😢. Praying for all. May GOD have mercy on us….

Did anyone notice the map at the beginning of the video? There was an island of the coast of the LA area that was in the active fire zone. How does that happen?

It’s time for Architects to design accordingly for the extreme weather we are and will be facing in the coming years.

Build brick homes . Cardboard homes don’t stand a chance .
@@PurpleNGold824 It’s impossible… California has around 30.000 earthquakes an year… 2,3,4,…. Most of the time you don’t feel…
But brick homes don’t stand a chance in earthquake prone areas
Where is the daubing with which you daubed it?
Everything looks 👌
why are the trees still standing ?
Explanation of why houses burn but trees do not explained by AI:
While wood itself can burn, the moisture content of a living tree is often high enough to hinder rapid burning.
Be careful ❤🙏🤗
