    Note: We talk here about synthesizers and making music... trolls beware! I don't care if you like Behringer or not...ok? :P
    Have fun making music, explore, learn, help and be nice to each other! 🍀

    My 2600 is perfect, it's just fragile. The sliders can easily be broken. The sound of it is worth the $500 I paid for it.

      Arturia Arp is the first synth I have learned…never thought that I will be able to buy real Arp but Behringer made it possible! Got Blue Marvin and it is a fantastic experience!
      Sliders move a bit smoother then I have expected but build quality surprised me positively anyway! I love that synth!

    If they can get the filters right, then perhaps they've "nailed it". Their TD-3 sounds extremely close to the original TB-303. Their Oberheim clone is not quite as close to the original. Is it close enough? Perhaps, especially for about 1/10th the price of an original. But Behringer's filters tend to sound flat and boring compared to real vintage ones, to the point where I think VSTs frequently do it better.

      Yea, Behringer 2600 sounds good but I thought the Pro One was crap when I did a side by side it with my original.

      @@ComsiCaterpillar comments under that video (link bellow) say something completely different to you view…secondly there are no two exactly the same sounding synths and third you might have calibration issues…

      @@amazeus1980 I own several original Pro Ones. The Behringer is nothing like it and some of the pots had lag which makes no sense if it was really 100% analog. The behringer 2600 it tried was good though. Not sure why the Pro One didn't turn out. I'm yet to hear any reproduction CEM "curtus chips" that sound like the vintage originals. I think the moog/arp sound is easier to copy

      @@ComsiCaterpillar I got several Behringer synths and I love them all! K2, Crave, Model D, Arp clone...my next synth will be actually Poly D! And I think it is a synth that is worth buing !

    Behringer Wave: coming in 2028. Meanwhile, try the Korg Modwave available right now, or several other low-priced wavetable synths with, doubtless, more functions and better build quality.

      I disagree about build quality and features. I got many Behringer synths and I got Korg Opsix and Moog Matriarch and tbh I was very disappointed with Moog and Korg build quality and features…especially at that price point!
      And if you cannot read, Behringer wrote that it will be released in a few months time. …and you are simply trolling and hating! 😂

    I'd like to hear what it does @amazeus1980, I've never actually used hardware synths! How would you rank this among your favorites?

    • @amazeus1980
      @amazeus1980  23 дні тому +1

      This is a wavetable synthesizer and it is actually a digital synthesizer. Wavetable sound synthesis is my favourite one because it goes beyond typical analog sound. It can produce a wide range of sounds…especially good for creating atmospheric sounds, rich pads and strings.
      This is Waldorf PPG clone. Waldorf has also a plugin version of that synthesizer. Waldorf is a creator of wavetable synthesizer!
      Ofc there are many more plugins like Arturia Pigments and many other plugins that are for free, capable of wavetable sound synthesis.
      I will make a video about synthesizer types in a near future, with examples of use and I will also share a couple of recommendations that I think are worth trying and using (free plugins). ;)
