God forbid they go to India.
Remember how Naruto has defeated Kiba on the exam
if someone has 10x better eyesight, does that mean they would go blind from all the light? No. It just means they can make out more detail, further away and with more clarity. The same goes for smell. They can smell more, distinguish between them from further away. Doesn't always mean the smells they experience are stronger or more potent
Did anyone else catch the fact, when he did the howling to start them going, they all switched over to looking outwards for possible threats, because that is a huge usage of the howl. All of them started forming a perimeter between the people and the nearest tree line it looks like.

I dunno HOW you got enough food for you AND me being as slow & weak as you are, but I don't ask if you don't wanna tell me your secrets, just keep my gravy flowing, daddy."
It’s really cool to see how they interact with humans. You can get an idea as to how humans domesticated them thousands of years ago by how they act compared to other animal species.
Yeah I think wolves partly domesticated themselves just by being not afraid of humans so they could get at their food
They sense meat eaters.
@@SiisKolkytEuroo yeah, they used to hang around camp grounds because humans would feed them, the humans knew that if wolves were near by and kept them fed, they would be protected from other animals because they would be cautious of going near them. So they used to use each other and eventually they started to breed them for certain jobs, and then eventually we got pugs

@Greg Just because they know many things about wolves doesnt mean others cant
I think its a bit of both
The fast movement into the stance that towers over the wolve

So cool to watch. They have a nasty reputation, not totally undeserved but I can see now that they are much more gregarious than I had thought. They're curious as hell and actually pretty friendly, it makes sense they domesticated themselves (probably how it happened) so easily
These ones are domesticated. The scene is a set up. The BBC would never allow him to do this with wild wolves.
@@blue24563 they never said they were wild animals so it's hardly a set up
@@awesomesauce2000 I was responding to a comment that expressed surprise at how curious and friendly the wolves are. But these ones are only friendly because they are domesticated. Wild wolves are ferocious and exceptionally dangerous.
@@blue24563 Domesticated would be a bit of an exaggeration, most species of animal will never be entirely tame no matter how well they know you, but yes they're about as close to it as wolves could ever get.
It's not so much the BBC wouldn't allow doing this with wild wolves, it's more a case of wild wolves wouldn't allow doing this. Truly wild wolves are afraid of humans (with very good reason) and would never approach a group of humans like this. Almost every other predator on Earth has learned the hard way that groups of humans are really bad news, and even lone humans probably aren't worth the trouble.

@@gogo-vq4vr Lack of food and human expansion is the reason for that.
@@Brutally_Honest666 Human are apex predators as much as wolves, our role in the ecosystem is not to be vegetarian. Trying to force humans to fulfill a niche things that does not work only leads to more suffering and environmental destruction. Human monocropping, the only way to make plant foods economically efficient for humans (still not even healthy, they are not nutritious to people), is the most destructive of all known agricultural practices.
@@Brutally_Honest666
1) That statement is completely arguable; what isn't is that plant mono-crops are damaging to the environment. They require 'high input' of resources and damage the soil, water supply and native environment. Soil need large herbivores for the ecosystem to work, and they are necessarily removed to protect monocrops. If what you are farming is the animals directly from a pasture, this isn't a problem and the animals can participate in the ecosystem restoration.
2) There is no letting animals suffer in modern agriculture, distressed animals have low feed efficiency so it's an economically poor decision, and agriculture is all about economics.
3) That is just a matter of the size of animal you are eating, not how often or much you eat. Wolves have a higher Mcal requirement per day /lb body weight than humans to reproduce.
And, in case it wasn't clear to you, humans slaughter animals in a relatively thoughtful way, nearly instant death. Wolves eat bison alive...
Natural life is much crueler than farm life for animals. Especially regenerative agricultural practices, which create environments ideal for herbivores.
@@sadrien Is mono cropping really necessary when crop rotation and growing plants that provide nutrition to soil is an option? As I understand, an extremely large portion of the crops we grow go to feeding livestock that we then kill and eat. Why not just eat the crops? The only two things I can think of that most plants can't provide that meat can is protein and vitamin B12, which can both be gained from dairy products. While dairy farms would still necessitate a portion of our food to be given to animals, it certainly would cut down on crop consumption if animals were no longer longer consume, right?
This was awesome! What ended your encounter? Did the wolves gently walk away? Did you leave? Did they follow? So amazing.

This was so fascinating to watch. If I'm not mistaken, could the wolves have approached the lady because she seemed less threatening? They appeared very gentle with her.
These aren't wild wolves. They are in a preserve. The make up of their pack is strangers that have been rescued and assimilated into the pack. In the wild a wolf pack is all family and the pack leader is the father. When the pups get old enough they leave to form their own packs. There is no competition between the wolves in the pack. In this artificial pack setting the wolves are more aggressive towards each other because they are not family. In the wild, wolves are territorial but don't attack humans for food and don't behave the way these wolves behave with each other. Anything these wolves do is not typical to normal wild wolf behavior. These wolves have had human interaction for most of their lives because a lot of them were rescued as orphan pups and taken care of by humans before being introduced to the pack in the preserve. Also it seems the lady is the resident specialist probably in charge of monitoring the wolves in the preserve so the rapport is already established between the wolves and the lady. That is probably why the wolves are more comfortable with her.
That's cuz she's cute.
She's spent more time with those wolves, as said in the video. They "know" each other
It's because they already know her. But even so, wolves are more fearful of men than women.

Mr. Carnegie died in a wild animal attack while he was walking near Points North Landing in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Waste dumping attracted black bears and timber wolves to the region.
According to a trucker who said he met Carnegie in the cafeteria a few days before his death, he had passed around close-range photographs of large wolf pups that had approached him during walks in nearby woods, and he had been warned by the trucker that such encounters were extremely dangerous.
A bush pilot said he warned Carnegie about an incident in which adult wolves had menaced others walking outside the camp.
After reviewing evidence, which included wolf tracks left around the body, the finding of a coroner's inquest was that Carnegie had been killed by wolves.
This was the death of a human, one of the first verified cases of a fatal wild wolf attack in North America.
Personally I think wolves are absolutely magnificent creatures, but let's not forget, they are wild animals.
To interact with them, as humans, is not something to be done without extreme risk.
Let's not forget this. Us humans are NOT wolves. We think we understand them, but do we?
Host: And what a wonderful, eerie, chilling, stunning sound...
Me: Shut up and let me hear it.
@Capri Maybe we should send you guys there so you can hear it first hand
Host: But, Adjectives.

Steve: “we need to keep our movements very slow”
Also Steve: (darting his head from side to side and making quick hand gestures)
Sounds like my dogs in the morning when they wake up and expect a treat
Such beautiful, majestic animals!...
How can a person with a heart kill those perfections of nature?!...
@montanadoctor What you just said simply doesn't make any sense!...
How is it bad that wolf packs kill so many prays if other predators benefit from their kill!... And I can assure that it is not just bears and coyotes that feast on the remainings… Add bobcats, lynx, foxes, crows, ravens and so many more!...
It's called NATURE!...
Unless, it bothers YOU because as a member of the human race, you consider those deer and elk belong to you to shoot?!...
And how can you be so sure that some of these kills weren't made by packs of dogs?!…
I just checked the last recent survey… In 2016 wolf population = 851... Personally I don't call that "far too many" compared to human population (estimated 2019 population = 1.07 million) spread over 147 040 mi²...
Seems to me that it is the humans that are over populating Montana!... ;o)
Human: *howls*
