Women division in strong tramontana - Day 1

Today women opened the Lords of Tram GKA Big Air Kite World Cup with a mixed bag of wind. But as the heats advanced the Tramontana winds kicked in and hit 40 knots. The athletes rose to the challenge and executed mind-blowing tricks in the punchy and challenging breezes. Due to gusts of 72 knots in the late afternoon, the competition was halted as it was deemed unsafe to continue with the heats. However, we will resume tomorrow with Semifinal 1 for the women as they still have five tricks remaining in their heat. The skippers meeting will commence at 7:30 AM and the first possible start will be at 8:00 AM. Don't miss any of the action. Tune into tomorrow's
