- In this video, while attempting to load in San Antonio, Texas, I got royally lost, and was late for my pick up appointment..

One of the primary rules for a CDL license is keep to the right and always know what is behind you. Very frustrating for a Law enforcement officer responding to a call with lights on to be ignored, I think you were very fortunate you were not cited John. Stay out of that left lane move over as soon as safly possible and always know who is behind you. Safe travels.
As I stated many times, I do admit my fault and I am not denying it… my point is he could have handled that better don’t you think?
JBG you were wrong , admit it and move on. Also telling him to calm down was not the correct response. Sorry would have been much better, He obviously was having a bad day. You did not help it.

Most likely he was recording you also with his body cam and dash cam. Most state police are not on a power trip as small city police dept are. Bottom line as I see it, police officers are human also, they have bad days just like us. Happy Trails to Pennsylvania Amego. ✌🤠🇨🇱..

A brief on code 3, is when there is potential danger to the public or another officer for officers responding to use lights and sirenens to expedite to the screen keep it fun and safe never what jbg will get into 😅
There’s no way in the world he was running a siren.. He was only running his lights.
Just to let you know on all 4 or 6 lanes in Mississippi left lane is passing only , they will rite a citation if needed.
Things happen for a reason; the lesson learned here is that you never stay on the passing lane unless is necessary.
As I stated in the beginning, it was entirely my fault… but my point is, think that officer overreacted and could have handled that a little bit better
In the context of the Virginia State Police, "Code 3" refers to a "Missing person," which can be further classified as either an adult (A) or a juvenile

As a retired LEO I am disgusted in your rambling about that officer. Unless you have been in their shoes..be quiet. I myself have been in that situation where people won't move over. The officer probably had somebody arrive at whatever scene he was driving to. He had a chance then to stop you. DONT assume you know what he was thinking or doing. That used to make me mad and it still does. Next when you need an officer hopefully they will come.
What was the emergencies that was so bad?… and yet he had time to stop and scold me…. As I said, I admit my fault., but don’t you think he could have handled that better?
That deal with VSP. is a life lesson, learn from it and move on. Living in Virginia some of the troopers act like they are above the normal people. Stay safe

Well if ya didn't keep your scan going and you were in dream land, hey welcome to the human race, were not perfect ya know 😁 code 3 means urgent situation, emergency ect, so no he would have just driven around you on the shoulder, watched enough videos of S/P during emergency's, they don't stop to use you as a chew toy. But in the end, my opinion only, he wasn't very professional.😑

I agree with you John, the trooper overreacted. He lost his temper. Code 3 is the highest priority emergency...a life or death situation...

I’m with you Johnny..technically yes you were wrong and not paying more attention while out in the left lane. But like I said before, they out run their own siren at about 40 mph. As far as his attitude? Yes he should have been more professional but they are human try to remember that. We all make mistakes.
The way I see it, we both were wrong.. and at the end of the day, I think we are better for it

Everything thing they do is on video. Some tickets are discretion, but a lot is they'll get written up of fired if not done by the books.
I think everybody would agree that both of us were wrong in this one and could have handled it better

JB, the Cop was on a power trip. "How dare you not get out of my way when I had my lights and sirens on". He turned back because as you said, how could he get away with writing you a ticket, when he was supposedly on an emergency call? Probably like a lot of other gungho cops who spend their days bored to tears, until they get those rare chances to do something exciting! Some other officer had a code three so that allowed him to run his lights and sirens, but you slowed him down until the call was cancelled. Knowing you had the camera his case had he been stupid enough to write a ticket for obstruction would have gotten laughed out of court with the video of it. Normally, when a cop wants to get someone for obstruction during a code 3 they would radio to support officers who were not involved in the code 3, so they then could find you and write you a ticket!

If i can add my 2 cents , how were you in the wrong , is it not legal to undertake a vehicle in the USA , something i find difficult to handle when driving in the USA not being American , to me staying in the lane you were in is the safest thing to do ,if he had started to undertake and you had moved over it could have caused a accident or ran him off the road , cameras don't lie
The law is actually move over when safe and able to do so.......but that's for cars not big trucks you can't just change lanes quickly without checking multiple times that it's clear
