Cullen further reflects on his side's approach to squad rotation and the team's culture that has put them in contention for a season double after their success against La Rochelle in the Investec Champions Cup and the top seed spot in the United Rugby Championship.

Great win this fixture last time but they got smashed by the bulls the next week though the team was really scraping the academy at that point. It looks like a stronger lineup tomorrow but hopefully they can do well against the Stormers as well.

Agree. Elis Park area is unsafe for real. Lions have plenty of supporters but i don't understand why the owners are not seeing the opportunity of ticket sales at a better venue. Lions are in the largest city in South Africa but attract the worst crowd of all the franchises. There's a lot of value being overlooked or missed because of the venue.
Just ask Emirates or corporate to fund a 30 000 stadium, this team is loved

The Lions have made quite the effort to accommodate fans. They provide free secure parking and have stepped up security around the stadium, Gautrain shuttles for bok games were great last year. Ellis Park is still a great venue and is steeped in history and heritage.

Yes. Such an amazing venue in the worst part of Joburg. They need to use another stadium.

FNB stadium is the only other option for the Lions
