I hate that people keep saying the cc’s name is Evan because mat said in his live reaction to dual process theory’s video that the way that the name Evan was found was forced and really didn’t make any sense.
MatPat still does technically do FnAF stuff he watches a lot of FnAF lore videos on GTLive (with lots of pausing to think about them)
Good lord people, Evan had never been confirmed to be CC's name. It's so annoying when people create theories from super vague sources and then act like it's 100% canon.
Exactly. Cassidy’s name was confirmed by Scott yet “Evan” never was. That’s the main reason I never believed it.

@@Cassidy1983-y4b your right it doesn’t law sense. CC was first then Cassidy. I think that cc died in 1983 then MCI Cassidy being the last victim and finally Charlotte. If there’s 2 ppl inside Golden Freddy which there is then cc had to have died first it will only make sense that way

I got so confused because we all know that golden Freddy has 2 spirits, Evan (the crying child) and Cassidy (the one you should not have killed). Now people think golden Freddy has one spirit because of the “It’s me”. My god Fnaf can be confusing sometimes 😂
Evan was never confirmed it just helped us to give him a name but I do believe that yes they two different ppl. I also don’t believe that there was a kid stuffed in a golden Freddy suit. Like that could’ve been everything and it doesn’t align with the timeline

I think the only issue with the debunking is that they took "missing" too literal.
It could just be that the crying child is technically "missing" from the hospital but not actually considered missing the way the other kids are since he is at home.
Similar to how someone else explained why another character was "missing" from sister location. I'm not a hardcore FNAF fan so Idk the exact details but still.
When it comes to FNAF, there's symbolism involved and some parts are more direct than others but the word missing doesn't need to refer to a child literally being unaccounted for 😅

Just keep cassidy and crying child (or what you call him) as two different people. Their is no reason for cc to be that vengeful to his own father if he never killed him
Unless the personal betrayal of thinking of his dad as a great person that made cool animatronics and when he died he not only discovered he’s putting a bunch of children through hell on purpose, in dual process theory’s video they explain this by saying he took Cassidy from his hospital bed while in coma and tried to put him in golden Freddy, and that’s why golden Freddy at the end of ultimate custom night is twitching just like spring trap was when he died
You can’t just dismiss a theory because you don’t like the premise, prime point to that is game theory’s video on Gregory being a robot which turned out to be what they were going for at first
And yes you have to sweep aside a few issues with it, but that’s nothing new with fnaf. I think the entire timeline on Scott’s end has changed like 3 times

I know my name spelling is wrong but whatever. So yeah, Evan's brother's name is Michael and he's son had a close fate as The Crying Child. That's a lot.
