They had an amazing debut, the most successful release internationally (for a rookie gg), flods of haters, conspiracy theories, signed with Warner, plagiarism accusations, a deal for Barbie The Album, a hiatus, "external forces" situation, and now a sue from the members, all in a couple of months. They really lived the experience of all k-pop groups combined in less than a year.
The thing is this is nothing new there are whole histories of some new fame artists who think they know better and try some bs to end their contract to be with bigger company

Me too! The more I get to know about CEO JHJ, the more reverence towards him I respect him so much, and very appreciate his warm heart for current 5 girls.
I'm Korean and I would like to inform you of the current situation using a translator. The head of the agency sold his car and invested his entire fortune in producing the album of Fifty Fifty. Although it was a poor small agency, the CEO gave them a lot of support, such as giving them a large house with three rooms and two bathrooms as accommodation. However, Fifty Fifty filed a lawsuit against the CEO, claiming that they had not received a settlement. It took years for the BTS to receive settlement, and it is ridiculous that a rookie idol who has only debuted seven months ago wants settlement. Because there's a huge amount of investment going into their debut. The betrayed representative said he is only praying to his late father. Their trial was held today in Korea. Please pray for CEO's victory.
The ceo said, they wants 50/50 to be next BTS ..A BTS female version!!..but he forgot there is no next BTS.. BTS r still down to earth even after this much popularity..It took them years to got success..They made bighit, a pretty small company to hybe label.. but never try to leave bighit to join bigger company
@@Catchy_1 Fifty Fifty applied to the agency for an injunction to suspend the exclusive contract and the first hearing date was held. Fifty Fifty corrected the story that we are not asking for money, we just want to get the settlement data, and that there is a problem with the agency's capabilities, and the CEO is trying to protect young children, saying they seem to have made the wrong choice because of greedy adults. Fifty Fifty says it's not about money, but it turns out that they applied for a contract termination with their agency and registered a personal trademark in front of them, and eventually thought of sharing music fees. The CEO will lose money and the artist, and eventually lose or win the trial, the biggest loss. In Korea, public sentiment for Fifty Fifty is very bad and everyone is cheering for the CEO. It is expected to be a very long and dirty trial.
Why ask for settlement when the group is just 7 months old and barely had any activity that brings profits? And they dare complain about the agency’s capabilities when their agency successfully made their song go viral on tiktok, got them deals a rookie could never even dream of, and made them known outside of Korea first because, tbh they’re nothing exceptional in Korea yet and can’t compete with dozens of other hardworking talented groups? If they just wanted to know about the settlement, why register the license of their group name before they officially sued the CEO? Why call a different agency’s CEO the boss when they’re not even aware that their legitimate employer sold his car and watch to fund them and his elderly mom spent a lot of money to also fund them? If they wanted to move to a bigger label, at least they should’ve had the guts to face facts, accept criticism for ditching a small company that sponsored them and being the greedy gold diggers they are. They’re all over age 20. Legally responsible adults, not little children who know no better and got used between adult CEOs.
They're saying the company violated their contract, refused to be transparent about their pay, forced them to work when they were unwell, and disclosed private health information of a member to the public without even consulting her. If that's true, they aren't being treated well.
Anyone else feels sorry for the CEO? He deserves credit for putting all of these talented people together in a way that worked and put his own neck in the line for everyone to succeed, and now he's being betrayed by everyone
Normally in Korea when conflict happens the public usually take the idol 's side. But this time everyone is with the CEO. The money and work he puts to the group (still a rookie group) is no joke. Foreign fans don't be fooled by fake Infos there's absolutely no mistreatment. Even some famous producers have spoken publicly to support the CEO and saying that they will never provide songs to these girl after what they did 🤡🙋🏻♀️
@@kristat8176 The entire situation remains very mysterious. We have NOT heard the whole story yet. At least, I haven't seen it anywhere. My natural sympathies are with these young innocent girls. (It's possible some adult took advantage of their innocense and manipulated them into doing something foolish. I don't know yet. We will see.)
** For overseas fans: The CEO didn’t lie. The members did. Evidence of how the group and their parents carefully planned to move labels and pay minimum penalty was revealed. Their parents secretly licensed the name fifty fifty in korean and all their names as well. The members themselves celebrated the birthday of Siahn (the other CEO who is the suspected outside agency that wanted to buy them out and sell them to the unsuspecting Warner music) and called HIM “their boss” as early as April. Their lawyers are claiming that the agency “forced” the group on a rigorous schedule against their will which is ludicrous because they only appeared on tv/radio just 22 times in total during 7 months while other average kpop groups rarely have a resting day attending college festivals, music concerts, entertainment programs, commercial ads, overseas activities, etc, which is how entertainment companies earn most of their profits. There is a phone call record between Warner music and their legitimate CEO discussing the sell out of FiftyFifty in which Warner music is shocked that the CEO HAD NO IDEA that a deal was on the table because some other third party was secretly trying to sell them out behind his back. There are phone chats between the CEO and Siahn about how Siahn was acting as liaison between the CEO and the group and the parents. Siahn and the girls carefully limited the groups last activity to a bare minimum stating one of the member’s operation to request a two weeks rest. What’s weird is that they asked for a two weeks rest not only from the member who got the operation, but the entire group, which is rather unusual as other groups continued their musical careers regardless of one sick member. The phone chat reveals how the CEO was understanding and generous to allow them all to take leave, which clashes with the group’s claim that the agency tried to push them. The CEO and the small agency really did a lot for these girls as well as his family who invested their own money on these “sweet girls” as the CEO is still in denial that his protégé would backstab him like this. We Koreans really were proud of a miracle kpop group who made the billboards but we’re also very concerned that justice should be dealt to ppl who are ungrateful and arrogant that the success was solely due to themselves or some other devious businessmen. So overseas fans, if you really love kpop, please boycott this song and stop your support because every support is hurting an innocent CEO and the agency who worked hard to bring about this miracle and have lost everything already because the group’s future in Korea is already finished.
You seem to be leaving out the fact that the girls asked for financial statements as is their right. The statements shows zero sales income, zero promotion income. Why? Because all the money immediately went to Star Crew Entertainment, to which JHJ is also the CEO. This is done to pay off a loan to Interpark who gave 9 billion won to Starcrew. A debt Starcrew is repaying with profits from Attrackt and Fifty fifty without their permission. This means they are at a consistent negative in company profits for a loan to a company they are not apart of WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE. Also this loan was processed 2 years ago and the CEO admits he paid 6 billion won for the girls to debut. Where is the other 3 million? Starcrew entertainment! That excess funds show he did not sell his car or his Rolex and if he did then he didn’t need to but rather made a story for public sympathy. The girls would be in debt form an external loan for finances they are unsure whether they are being used personally by the CEO or if the apartment in Gangnam is just going to wrack up more debt for them, the way BBC did to Loona.

So... you will not fully understand this situation if you dont know how kpop scene works. Unlike U.S. or other countries, Agencies in korea is more than just agencies. They usually do the audition for young talented but untrained students with little to no career. And the companies invest fortunes to train them to be successful and to fully discover their talent. They have a team of producers, coaches for dancing, singing, and even for 2nd language to get fans from abroad. The train goes more than a year and all the expenses are paid from the Company. Usually, the company also pays for their living for a sound training period. After the debut, even larger investmemt is required. Not only the marketing, All the songs, dances, video, outfit, hair and make ups are finely curated. The whole schedule arrangements for their tv appearances and the concerts are not free as well. The artist is not paying for anything. In return, the artist gets paid little until the company acquires a large portion of their investment back. It can take 2 to even 4 years depends on the total amount of investment and the success of the band. This is when the artist and the agency having trouble. The artists get tired of their busy schedule after years and they start to question if the company is treating or paying them right. In most cases, it is the greedy company exploiting the artist under Contract even after the company collected way more than enough. However, it is a lot different from the most cases, the agency is literally a small business in the scene and the ceo spent all hes fortune before Fifty Fiftys success. Not to mention FF's 1st album was a total fail businesswise. it's only been months since the song Cupid went viral. The company hasnt made any money back yet. This is when the CEO found out that the head producer (more like a contractor) scammed him a big time. The scammer tried to sell FF to WB behind the CEOs back. But theres a catch, the producer doesnt have any rights in FF. So what the scammer has done is to convince the members to sue the company to end their contract so they can be free. Also, the scammer only listed his name in registering the Song Cupid when the actual person who paid for the production of the song was the CEO. If FF leaves as they planned, the CEO gets little to no money back from his investment. Korean fans are mad because it is not respectful how FF is trying to leave a few months after their first hit, disregarding all the financial support.
So, in a few words, Kpop bands are more likely seen as trained performers without any of their own asset at least for the first few years. I highly admire their efforts to shine one day, but the theres a lot of financial investment from those agencies in making a not yet ready student into an actual artist or performer.
@b2thegoodness I live in California, but I was born and raised in Korea. I am familiar with both Korean and American culture. Honestly, Fifty Fifty is what they are because of the viral song "Cupid". It's too soon to say whether they are that talented because if there is anything the highly competitive korean pop scene does not lack, it's talent and hard work . Even BTS proved themselves through numerous tracks. Stakeholders are getting greedy too soon and making a huge mess.
the auto tune both in their studio and "live" recordings is so strong, you might as well use AI singers to replace them and the song would probably sound better. They have almost no talent, and they don't even look pretty.
I mean, their discography so far did show their potential as artists. Their vocals are really good and they had an unique timbre that could have given them a distinctive sound. Yes, a lot of work was needed to keep their momentum going but by this point it's all meaningless. They're pretty much done now
Actually, I was afraid FIFTY FIFTY would become a one-hit-wonder, since their talent is beyond good. Yet success isn't always by hand with talent and potential. It become a lot worse. I only hope the best for the members and their music.
This is the most humiliate history caused by idol. They betrayed company...the company CEO even selled part of his property to make this group famous...now I'm literely disappointed at them. They made K-POP fans disappointed.
There was a poor father (CEO) with four children (fifty fifty). He had to work full time to make money and support his children, so he hired a nanny (Outsourced Producer). He provided the nanny with a shelter and paid good money to cook for his children and help them with school. The four children studied hard, graudated good schools and got high paying jobs. This nanny now feels like she deserves all their success and the money they make, and wants to make them her own children. The nanny convinced the girls to cut a tie with their estranged dad and become her own daughters. The girls agreed. The father who dearly loved the children, trusted the nanny, worked hard 24/7 to pay for the nanny, tuitions, foods and shelter, literally spent and devoted everything for their success now left with nothing but extreme devastation and depression. If one says that is part of the business and acceptable in law, I have no further comment. But is that right morally?? I feel so sorry for the CEO. Cant imagine what he is going through.
Yeah, many people (including myself) was thinking of them as the new BTS. They have that incredible talent, charisma and class that can easily build a very loyal and stable fanbase, add to that their international success and possible Grammy nomination and you have an incredible success story. But than this happened... What an ABSOLUTE shame. Honestly, I am utterly shocked. I'll never give up hope of then being able to come back from this but it won't be easy. I hope they can make it through this.

@@MasterBaiT-kb2xw Attrakt tried to tyrade over the group starting from the 31st of may for no discernable reason by suspending Givers from producing Fifty Fifty's music, even though it was the Givers that got them to where they are by having such an integral understanding of the group creatively. Another case of a company not knowing what it is doing and throwing its weight around. Sure enough 2 in a half weeks later Fifty Fifty likely saw the sinking ship and probably saw how ATTRAKT were going to run their group into the ground with confusing concepts or comebacks etc due to having no idea how to manage them without help from the Givers so they are trying to leave. Why should they be forced to stay with a company that is clearly not managing them correctly? This story repeats of a million times of a group becoming popular and than being screwed over by their company that makes a stupid decision and than they lose all momentum. I 100% stand with Fifty Fifty here, their group owes all of their success to the Givers and they know it. Attrakt would've never had this problem had it not interfered with their production over Fifty Fifty, oh well.
Nope, wrong. ATTRAKT attempted to separate Fifty Fifty's directive and production company away from them and handle everything themselves- for which ATTRAKT as a whole has ZERO experience. Fifty Fifty even sat with the decision for 3 weeks to see where it went, and likely only after seeing what direction ATTRAKT was taking the group in did they file a lawsuit to suspend their contract due to ATTRAKT basically self sabotaging their own company AND Fifty Fifty for no reason. THAT'S why this whole mess started. They didn't file a lawsuit because their double-crossing back stabbers and opportunists, they were simply forced to alter the way they make and produce music and work with totally different teams and they didn't want that and likely saw a future full of failure ahead and wanted out... Who would blame them? It isn't like ATTRAKT made them, The Givers did, they did EVERYTHING- literally, from start to finish. If ATTRAKT simply kept acting like a glorified investor they could've reaped the benefits of Fifty Fifty and The Givers success but they got greedy. Not Fifty Fifty.
What did he lie? He has recordings of phone calls and the producer stole the Cupid song that was paid for with company money. You believe that kind of person? He and the girls were planning to leave and they filed for the rights to the group name in advance.
@@StudentABC123 yeah but I heard he lied just so we would trust him. He also used to manage the BG hotshot under star crew which were abused And mistreated
It is quite interesting to see the huge contrast in public opinion between Korean fans and international fans. I’d like to give some context based on press release in Korea. The producer of “cupid”(a.k.a SIAHN), who was outsourced by the management company (Attrakt), attempted signing contract with WMK (Warner Music Korea) basically selling the group in exchange for 15M$. This attempt was revealed through the phone recording which the CEO of Attrakt has disclosed to the press today. The CEO had no clue of such attempt until he got the call from the executive of WMK. Public opinion in Korea is gradually going against Fifty fifty and becoming more favorable to the CEO, which is very unusual in legal conflict between the artist & the label. This is because the members are viewed as betrayers who tried to ditch the CEO who funded & provided the group despite his financial difficulties and follow the producer by demanding to terminate their exclusive contract with Attrakt. It is also shown in some of past videos where members call the producer as “daepyonim(대표님)“, which translates to CEO. People say the sudden fame and fortune has blinded the member‘s judgement and now they are destroying their own reputation by throwing themselves into this controversial dispute. Some even say that “it‘s like the goose who laid golden eggs is cutting his own stomach open”. “I never thought I’d support the label in such conflict but I feel sorry for the CEO. He put all of his effort to make the group successful and now he got stabbed in the back.”
We are pleading international fans to be true supporters of kpop by boycotting an unethical, ungrateful group and showing support for the hidden laborers behind a wonderful kpop song; the label and the workers in the agency who all have put in a lot of time and effort to make these girls famous and are facing a dirty lawsuit instead. It’s not fair nor is it right.
Please read the news. The CEO is the same guy who was involved in the Bullying scandal with S#arp group in the past where he allowed the bullying to take place and sided with the guilty party. He was also the same CEO that mismanaged the group “HOTSHOT”. Right now he is paying news articles such as DISPATCH to say good things about him. He is currently being accused for Embezzlement and Fraud. He is looking at jail time for now.
You feel sorry for the girls? The CEO had to make the greatest financial and lifestyle sacrifices just to give these girls a shot 😅 had to sell his car and eat ramyun?
It's so sad that they have broken records and entered the hearts of everyone only to just to know that they're falling behind😢I feel so bad for the girls
they brought it all to themselves. It is so unfortunate. They should never have listened to those who promised more money. They made a greedy choice rather than a moral choice and now they will suffer... not only them but also smaller companies will have a harder time investing their money in the next K-pop group or get loans from banks and the entire industry will suffer. The court, therefore, has to give legal victory to the girl's agent otherwise the mistrust of smaller companies will grow, and less opportunity for K-pop industry.
More then half of the streams and views are for the song and not the group itself!! A lot of people like the song but don’t care about the group, they’re not solid fans!! When the hype of Cupid will die completely they will most probably go back to nugu!!people go with the hype, with what it’s trending then move on to the next thing!!!that’s why tik tok fame it’s not really fame,,it’s very temporary!!!
No, if he's not being transparent about their finances, pushing them to work when sick, and disclosing private health information without permission, I feel bad for them not the CEO.
@@ladymoon7327 The attorneys knew this would be a high visibility case. I doubt they would take it without clear evidence of contract violations because losing could damage their reputation.
Dear foreign fans, 55th Fifty is no longer active. Fans, before singing well, singers must have character. Do you think Fifty did a good job by filing a contract termination lawsuit against the CEO who invested everything for them? Korean fans are very angry, and the atmosphere of public opinion regarding Fifty is also very bad. It seems that it is impossible for them to be active in Korea. Thank you for loving Fifty all this time. Next time, I will visit you with new fifty members in season 2, so don't be sad. Thank you for waiting until then
Pffft that's nothing. It was because the song was popular not the group at all. After Cupid got more and more boring they fell off like nothing happened. Especially because the CEO himself confirmed he put 8 billion Won to make the song viral on TikTok. Maybe if that wouldn't happen even Cupid wouldn't be that popular, who knows.

The Givers has been criminally charged for destroying electronic records, and since Attract has the recovered e-mail and messenger as evidence, it is highly likely that the Givers employees will go to prison. The problem is that if there is member-related content in the recovered e-mail or messenger, the members may also be punished as accomplices in obstruction of business.

I am international fan of fifty fifty BUT now am totally against these greedy girls. Those who support them are mindless or selfish narcissist. I am on company side
It's all about the conspiracy of the GIVER's CEO. He attempted to sold Fifty-fifty's copyright privately to Warner Music Korea without any acknowledgement of the CEO of Attrakt and then brainwash those girls to backstabbing their owner. It was GIVER mistreated fifty fifty. But still, those bitches still chose to side with GIVERS for their OWN better future. May fifty fifty and the CEO of the GIVERS rot beneath the very depth of the abyss also hope Attrakt can find a group of people with a better attitude to form a better idol bands with a brighter future.
Why is no one talking about the huge money amount the ceo spent in making the song viral on TikTok? I'm talking about about over 6 million dollars so the sob story of him selling his car is laughable.
Foreigners writing comments are covering up Fifty even though they didn't even look for Korean articles properly I am Korean and I will explain this case in detail Fifi's claim is that the agency didn't pay for the settlement, and that the agency made him do an unreasonable schedule, In fact, they haven't been active since May, when Fifty operated on, and they haven't had the money to settle because they've been in their seventh month since their debut. And when Fifi applied for an injunction to cancel the contract to the agency's representative, it secretly trademarked it in the name of Fifi. Evidence has emerged that another company is trying to take a member of Fifi, and Fifi betrayed the head of the agency and hurt him. The current situation is that the court is reviewing Fifi's application for an injunction to suspend the contract with the agency's representative, and all Koreans want the agency's representative to win. Fifty is young, but they did something they shouldn't have done. Other idol trainees live in a small room and participate in countless performances to promote their names. But Fifty didn't do any events where he could make money while living in abundance. And yet you ask the CEO for money. I really don't understand. People who swear that the agency's CEO is bad know the truth and say it. The evidence is gathering and the head of the agency will definitely win. I don't want an idol like this to come out into the world again +Oh, for your information, the reason why Fiftty doesn't get paid unlike new jeans is because Fifi is a small business. Newjeans was a hybe agency from the start of their activities, so they received a lot of advertisements, but Fifty didn't have that. Nevertheless, 50 was able to succeed because of the CEO's efforts, and they betrayed it
The CEO even borrowed ~$90,000 from his 90 year old mother's entire savings to invest in the girls. He put them in 3 bed 2 washroom apartment which is super luxurious for a newly debut kpop group who failed the first album, even for the Big 3 companies😢
get streamed a lot didn't gave the agencies that much money, only gave the popularity.. the reason why twice can build a fancy building for jyp entertainment simply not bcs how many stream their song get in yt or other platform, but bcs of how many sales they get.. economically speaking, physical album are the key of their success, along with merchandise, concert, and endorsement.. Fifty2 think their company already received a TON of money as soon as their plagiarized song get popular, oh no, it's not that easy ROFL
Fifty Fifty members betrayed the good one who sacrificed for them that's the facts even all songwriters against members rarely happens because company often trouble with songwriters
Ah this is not good, they have one hit song and now they think they can pull this. If Warner wants this group, pay the CEO what he deserves! Also the group’s name may now be popular due to the song, the members are not. Ultimately they will not own the name, BEAST had to go with a new name when they left Cube.
HYBE, SM, YG, and JYP officials are also outraged by this incident, and lyricists, composers, and producers are the same. This is the first time in the history of kpop that the representative of the agency is supported unilaterally and singers is unilaterally criticized. That's proof that what they did was shameless and wicked.
I may be wrong but this is what I can gather about the issue. Basically the producer (SHIAN) was outsourced by Attrakt for the song 'Cupid'. Because of its huge success, with the help of WMK (Warner Music Korea), the producer tried to sell the rights to the group to WMK behind the CEO's back. The CEO only discovered this once WMK contacted Attrakt about the exchange. This sparked a legal battle as the contract the producer was trying to make happen was illegal. So in response, the FIFTY FIFTY members sued Attrakt demanding to terminate their exclusive contract with the company. I suspect that the members were influenced by the producer and the success of 'Cupid'. The members caught a glimpse of the fame that they could have and were pushed to their decision with the promise of more of it by the producer and WMK. And this is despite the fact that the CEO of Attrakt, sacrificed so much to get the girls this far: Sold his 10-year worn Rolex, sold his car, and much more to finance FIFTY FIFTY's activities. It is hard to confirm if the girls were being abused by their company or not, but from what has been happening so far, it seems as though the CEO is likely innocent. There were bad decisions from all parties: the CEO was public about these issues (although I believe that this is justified as this would aid in his legal case because he is just a small company fighting against much larger companies), the producer making the shady deal, WMK for following through with the deal without formerly contacting Attrakt and the FIFTY FIFTY members going against their company which did not help their reputation/sabotaging them. I think that sealed their fate. The legal battle was already damaging to their reputation so their making that decision may not mean them getting the success they were promised by the producer and WMK. The thing is in K-pop, hardship is expected. So if they did stick it through with Attrakt they may be able to reach higher levels of fame. Look at groups like BTS, Seventeen, and EXO for example. It's always hard in the beginning so them making that decision was rash instead of being patient. However, it's still hard to tell which way this will go. The group may still reach higher levels of fame despite all of this, but if you look at the general trends in the K-pop industry, it will be a massive success for a while then the hype will die down instead of lasting fame. Though that is just a prediction. Interpret this however you like. If anyone would like to add information or argue with this then go ahead. I don't know all the details so I need different perspectives to make an informed decision about which side is (more) in the wrong.
I think after their success they want out from their small company, especially since some bigger companies are trying to recruit them so they’re trying to terminate their contracts through legal means.
It sounds like they wanted to be like NewJeans. NewJeans was the first rookie group that I've seen to get paid two month after debut. I feel sorry for the CEO I hope that he wins.
A successful group is not all about music but a good & supportive management too. Even the issue can be resolve between the member and ceo, the group's reputation is already tainted.
The group is not, the members are. If the company is not completely broke due to the girl's antics it can relaunch the group with new members and surf on the groups name and the public goodwill thereof. As far as the girl's goes: It's over for them. Will probably be stuck in the company basement for years until their contracts expire while owning a small fortune in trainee and legal debts. Oh, well
First of all, using a translator may not be accurate. Fifty Fifty requested termination of the contract with the agency. The reason is to go to another company with a lot of money. They lied and sued the existing company.
They said that one of the reasons for the lawsuit was that the company lost trust by disclosing the member's disease name to the media without consent. But this wasn't true and they lied. At the time they filed a lawsuit, the name of the member's illness was not disclosed. After the lawsuit, the name of the disease was disclosed, and this was also disclosed by a third party, not the company. I lied to get out of the company. First of all, it is an issue that has been clarified. The company president protected the members but was betrayed. If an investor withdraws their investment due to this controversy, the members will not be able to work. The public has turned their back on a matter that has already been betrayed.
one girl gets sick and the entire group takes a rest, I’ve NEVER see any other group doing this honestly. As rookie they live in luxurious dorm, taking language classes, taking rest… then they still complain company didn’t take care of their health enough!!
if we're being realistic they probably aren't gonna recover from this... right now they're more tiktok successful than kpop successful and with tiktok, one hit wonders are coming and going like nothing. fifty fifty could've kept up the momentum they had if everything was in their favor but it wasn't and once they get back on their feet again i don't think anyone outside of their fanbase is gonna keep up with them. i could be very wrong and they could have the biggest kpop comeback story in all of history but in MY opinion that's what i see happening.
It sounds like when a football player refused to play and training because the club refuses to sell them to a bigger club with bigger opportunity. I don't understand how ATTRAKT is the villains seems like he just taken advantage of understandable if he feels bitter and betrayed, if anything he's the victims of his own stupidity and Giver's sneaky underhand tactics. How the hell the company you hired as outsource owned your group's song copyright? Now you can't get any investment because you don't own anything. I understand if the girls want to go to Giver, they owned the songs, with that they secured collaboration with the video production company, a talent management agency, and distribution company and secured more investment. The girls just had to choose the winning side.
Whoever is pitying fifty fifty y'all need to look at the CEO of Attrakt, poor man put his whole life earning to get nothing .....the girls are young learnt english, vocal training, dance and skills and recognisation from poor man's money and back stabbed him for their greed ...........dont even try to victimize them
20 schedules in 4 months. Since May 2nd, all members have been inactive due to one member undergoing surgery. And Members filed a lawsuit against the company for forcing schedules.
Thanks to the company's CEO's hard-earned fundraising, producers and girls can make music and sing songs. Does anyone know all the girls' names? Can anyone guarantee that the next song will be as successful as Cupid? Look at Psy. How many people know how he has been since Gangnam Style? Is there a guarantee that it won't be the girls' future? Isn't it successful because the company's CEO has the financial power and the ability to select the right people?
It benefits the CEO to raise the fame of status of the group name Fifty Fifty because he owns the group. That doesn't excuse him if he isn't treating the individual members fairly. So your logic is because thanks to the CEO the members have made a successful song that they should just shut up and take whatever is done to them. Maybe they chose personal integrity over fame.

They filed a lawsuit against the company less than a year after their debut to move to a bigger company. Why are their lawsuits so vicious? This is an incident that can adversely affect the kpop industry. If they win their lawsuit, it will be impossible for small and medium-sized agencies to raise idols in Korea.

As the company's sales increase during the activity period, penalties for breach of contract increases exponentially. Arranged with producer Ahn and intentionally avoided shooting commercials. Producer Ahn's side even deleted the e-mails about advertising contract, but luckily some of the e-mails were recovered.

Nothing weird to support the artist more than the company because we know the fact that most of ent. companies in korea mistreated their idols and we don't care about the opinions of k. Netizens bcoz they are not relevant to start with 🥴
Yeah because Korean netizens have terrible viewpoints. They will gladly shame idols for anything and have a weird obsession with company loyalty. So they probably will be done in Korea. Plus they didn't really support them anyways even before all of this. Their success has largely been international anyways so they'll just have to now focus even more on that. Not much has changed.

Did u read today's trial???
@@Catchy_1 The trial just started today, so I expect it will take a day or 2 for the info to come out. Or is it out already? Where do you find it?

Well now the ceo isn’t being honest either

I've been following K pop groups for years, especially the girl groups. These girls aren't really exceptionally talented (by K Pop standards) but the song is great. 2. The CEO teached the members to learn English by love and care for 2 years.(they went from 0-100)
3. After 'Cupid' went viral, the CEO got promised to receive 8 million$ to his account but the producer(who made Cupid) found out that it all went to CEO's account, he was mad and made rumors about the CEO and tried to steal Fifty FIfty and make a new entertainment.
4. Conclusionally, Fifty Fifty members filed a law suit to the CEO for not giving them the 'album money' and "not working properly as a CEO".
Yet they didn't know that the Album had a hit at April 2023 and in order to receive the money, they have to wait a YEAR but they were too clueless...the Parents actually...

Once again, the promotion money is for their music video money, all the group's food, house, and the company's management fees. Also recently, a phone call was recorded about other entertainment trying to 'buy out' Fifty FIfty WITHOUT the CEO knowing. Yall should actually research more. Thank you.
I can’t believe how dense kpop fans are to think fifty fifty is the victim and the ceo is the perpetrator. Even after the dispatch records clearly reveals how the members lied and the excessive money the CEO lost and ways he’s provided for them and invested so much on them. There’s a reason why all the knetz are shocked and angry at fifty fifty and feel sympathy for the ceo. What, cuz knetz are jealous of fifty fifty? Except most people didn’t even know about them until this issue. Kpop fans are so removed from Korean culture, actual contexts, actual messages and make up their own theories because their idols can never do anything wrong…. Sigh. Critical thinking is lost. Like there’s literally VOICE RECORDINGS that exposed them and yet people still want to argue they’re the victims. It’s bizarre. Knetz usually side with idols not the company… like with loona or seungi case. There’s a reason why people are so shocked and defending the ceo
This phenomenon is particularly prevalent within western Kpop communities, where many people prioritize idolizing over seeking the truth.

Wow.. these girls are so ungrateful 💀 loyalty goes a long way and glad to say I wasnt a stan in the first place. Talk about a one-hit wonder
So... you will not fully understand this situation if you dont know how kpop scene works. Unlike U.S. or other countries, Agencies in korea is more than just agencies.

This is what happens when a group becomes successful in a short period of time, there's always going to be issues as such.

It is them that fucked up bad, yall shouldnt feel sorry for them. Exact example of being greedy without knowing where they stand

@@varunkandhari4819 actually he was the one who sided with the one who got bullied. Get your facts checked.
You feel sorry for the girls? The CEO had to make the greatest financial and lifestyle sacrifices just to give these girls a shot 😅 had to sell his car and eat ramyun?
Fake sob story. That guy ady confessed to paying MILLIONS of dollars just to push that one song. Like, wtf did he sell, a Bugatti? 😂

When the hype of Cupid will die completely they will most probably go back to nugu!!people go with the hype, with what it’s trending then move on to the next thing!!!that’s why tik tok fame it’s not really fame,,it’s very temporary!!!

The fact that Cupid played in bulgarian tv and radio just tells how popular it was
Yeah many people who don’t know what Kpop is know the English version of Cupid

Sudden fame can destroy you..
Foreigners writing comments are covering up Fifty even though they didn't even look for Korean articles properly
I am Korean and I will explain this case in detail
Fifi's claim is that the agency didn't pay for the settlement, and that the agency made him do an unreasonable schedule,
In fact, they haven't been active since May, when Fifty operated on, and they haven't had the money to settle because they've been in their seventh month since their debut.
I don't want an idol like this to come out into the world again
+Oh, for your information, the reason why Fiftty doesn't get paid unlike new jeans is because Fifi is a small business. Newjeans was a hybe agency from the start of their activities, so they received a lot of advertisements, but Fifty didn't have that.
Nevertheless, 50 was able to succeed because of the CEO's efforts, and they betrayed it
With all the new updates, these girls are snakes on a plane broooooooooooooo
I feel really bad for the company and the CEO.
The CEO even borrowed ~$90,000 from his 90 year old mother's entire savings to invest in the girls.
He put them in 3 bed 2 washroom apartment which is super luxurious for a newly debut kpop group who failed the first album, even for the Big 3 companies😢
Stop I feel so bad for the ceo🥲
Yep 2,7M Won in Gangnam apartment/month. That's a lot of money.
get streamed a lot didn't gave the agencies that much money, only gave the popularity.. the reason why twice can build a fancy building for jyp entertainment simply not bcs how many stream their song get in yt or other platform, but bcs of how many sales they get.. economically speaking, physical album are the key of their success, along with merchandise, concert, and endorsement.. Fifty2 think their company already received a TON of money as soon as their plagiarized song get popular, oh no, it's not that easy ROFL
Fifty Fifty members betrayed the good one who sacrificed for them that's the facts even all songwriters against members rarely happens because company often trouble with songwriters
This is an unprecedented incident in which even an advertising offer was avoided in order to minimize the penalty for breach of contract.
Same i am international fan and i am on ceo and company side.these girls are greedy
The ceo and company literally made them who they are, i really hope those ungrateful girls get canceled and never perform again in their life!
Lol this is a rare sight bec normally people would blame the company not the members and why y'all saying they are greedy-
It is sad to see young children lose their morality and become dominated by money.
Fifty think that if Koreans do not accept them, other people abroad will listen to their songs. This is nonsense.
Oh, well
The girls brought this on themselves due to greed
This is so sad. I loved the group and their music. They have destroyed their careers. They are considered over in Korea.
First of all, using a translator may not be accurate. Fifty Fifty requested termination of the contract with the agency. The reason is to go to another company with a lot of money. They lied and sued the existing company.
what happens if the 5050 members lose the lawsuit?
it's not even had its first court date yet you've just fabricated the fact that they lied, you're all so gullible
@@kookie-py damn
Yea most of the time, if one member gets sick, the rest of the group still do events as scheduled.
if we're being realistic they probably aren't gonna recover from this... right now they're more tiktok successful than kpop successful and with tiktok, one hit wonders are coming and going like nothing. fifty fifty could've kept up the momentum they had if everything was in their favor but it wasn't and once they get back on their feet again i don't think anyone outside of their fanbase is gonna keep up with them. i could be very wrong and they could have the biggest kpop comeback story in all of history but in MY opinion that's what i see happening.
I hope the CEO win the lawsuit
I was wondering why the girls made a dumb move but realized they all dropped out of school... no wonder
Knetz supporting the CEO in this case.
Just go read thousands of comments in recent 5050 news. They want 5050 gone.
And Members filed a lawsuit against the company for forcing schedules.
lots of peeps are on the side of the girls not knowing they are the ones who betrayed the CEO!
On the contrary, public opinion has actually shifted and the girls are now seen as greedy backstabbers.

The comments are weird here.. Those girls are trying to walk away from the boss of the agency. You all know what you're talking about! In Korea, the girls are now disgusted
And this is why the ceo shouldn't have pushed the girls so much to have international success before forming a solid fanbase in korea
Well the ceo shouldn’t have debut a group without having good finances and their literally the only group under that company. Those girls are still in trainee debt and they don’t get paid until the debt is payed off .
