- Today I'll be attempting to Survive ONE day in Project Zomboid and telling the story of SSM Nigel Worthington, a British SAS man in Kentucky to help the yanks deal with the Knox event, but he's got his own motives.
It's a very long day by Project Zomboid standards, that's the gimmick, the timescale is set to real-time

One of the weirdest things about the injuries in Zomboid is how any arm damage somehow lowers your gun damage. Complete bullshit that a scratched elbow makes my shotgun shoot peas.
Yea, it would make much more sense if a scratches arm would decrease your firerate or something because you can't manage the recoil as well.
Actually, not pressing into the recoil as much DOES make the gun weaker
@@arobotwithepilepsie6053 Uh, how? The "damage" of a gun is based off the velocity of the projectile, not how much you steady yourself against recoil. Otherwise, the AN-94 would be utter shit because you don't feel the recoil of the first bullet (since it fires two at almost the exact same time)
@@ASlickNamedPimpback Technically it is true that if less force is used to "push" against the recoil the velocity would be lower because of Newtonian physics, but in reality that difference is infinitesimal. Anyone who thinks this actually matters is memeing or stupid.
I suspect it means you are less accurate so your shots are not hitting as directly leading to less damage.
It's always so weird when I watch people playing Project Zomboid. I'm from Louisville and lived in a few areas in Western Kentucky.

Honestly! Im not epileptic, but I am severely light sensitive and bright flashing lights both really hurt my eyes and give me a headache. These warnings are so nice!

The Plot twist, holy shit!
Quick tip: that super long book was a skill boost book. You don't need to actually read it all. Just read it until you see the flashing arrows next to the skill.
uhm... then you will only get 10% of the maximum boost, as you only read 10% of the book, that's how it works.
For example the first book in each series gives you (if i remember correctly) 3X boost to lvl1-2 of that skill while having 220 pages. This means that after reading 22 pages you will get 0.3 boost, then after 44 pages it increases to 0.6, then at 66 pages to 0.9 etc.

Train tracks in Zomboid look gigantic!
Funniest thing - Me and my friends started playing Zomboid this week. We scrambled around in multiplayer, but eventually settled down in a nice two-story building with all the amenities one could dream of! Of course, eventually the power went, along with the water ... things got desperate and the house began to show cracks... but that house we could always find by the little gnome outside it's walls. Oh yes, it's the SAME HOUSE that Hazzor is trying to get to in this video!
Loved this style of video, I really like the story telling idea.
Quick tip if you didn't know already:
You can either break the police station doors with any melee weapon, or disassemble it with a hammer and screwdriver!

Project zomboid idea, turn off zombie respawn and set the population to zombies to realistic levels, roughly one tenth of normal zombies. However zombies are set to be the strongest possible. So it is possible to thin the hordes and kill all the zombies, they are just really deadly. Maybe install some mods to make the zombies deadlier.

As a person who saw too many liveleak videos, there's no way in hell that zombies would even slightly damage one of those APCs. No matter how many it drove over. Not to mention it wouldn't get slowed down either. Zomboid car damage and weight physics when it comes to vehicles hitting zombies has always annoyed me.

I know it's very late but you can check an option in settings for your camera to pan out in front of the car, the faster it's going the further you'll see in front of it, a must have tbh, very convenient

Great Vid Hazzor, I did try a real time Zomboid run before but couldn't figure out the moodles tuning so I was getting tired very quickly and sleeping multiple times in one day was weird so I gave up. What did you do here?
I didn't have that issue so it may have been updated since you tried it.
Real time is just not cut out for the game balance really, the needs system can't handle it that well. I have experimented a little with the timings and for solo gameplay i find either 2 or 3 hours per day to be the most "balanced" settings. Game still manages to adjust the moodles to different time flow properly so sleep/hunger etc seems realistic, there is no more feeling that if i take on a fight with 10 zombies suddenly half of the day has passed, and the time-consuming actions like reading or sleeping are still very bearable, and not noticeable that much if you speed time up. I do have to compensate for it though with power/water running out earlier and zombie relocation, respawn and numbers, otherwise it becomes too easy.
Altough just as Hazzor said, it might have been updated since i tried it too.

I ben playing for 50 somthing hours cant get past day 1 in apocalypse mode
I recommend watching some videos from the likes of Nurse or Retanaru here on UA-cam, they cover a lot of the basics of the game, like how to lose zombies and stuff like that.
Once you get the basics like that down surviving against zombies isn't actually that hard, the problem is getting lazy, impatient or over confident and sprinting around like I was in this video.
