The preceding shot could of been handled a lot better by the server. Hitting down the line at the net person gave the net person an easy volley placement. Hitting crosscourt to the returners feet would surely of been better. In most club tennis the lob over the backhand side of your opponent also works quite well.
I usually try to do exactly this but the other day I played a total lobber. They were deep every dang time. U couldn’t take them at the service line. I’m 5’2 and a strong 3.5 player. We had to play back. It was crazy and we won. It was an unusual experience tho.
Good. Make another video abt how servers partner covering too much of the alley. Soft Chip return shouldn't be making it by servers partner at this level
this wont' work for most as most ppl are 3.0 and lob all the time. The team that receives lobs can't even hit service line overhead and will end up losing the point by hitting overhead to the net!

Hit the HIGH volley to the opponent standing at net.
Hit the LOW volley to the baseline but NOT to the opponent standing at net.
👍👍👍
Yep! Thanks John!

You’re 100% correct.
How about hit a short, drop volley within the serve line in front of the opponent at the baseline?
What if the opponent hit the lob? ( and you are not tall)
How much books

Ok thanks for watching!
If I'm the server in this situation, the opponent will a diet of topspin lobs...
Should the server’s partner have moved a step or two further back based on the return?
Yes. She should move to service line. Baseliner should’ve aimed low down middle or sky high lob.
Too bad it wasn't my sister's women's doubles match. They lost in 3 🥲
