I I love all the cathedrals especially on a house with inner singer my mom loves tenor singers I used to not listen to quartet singers but I love them and I learn to love them as a young girl my mom listening to Cortez I didn't know who they were but we'll just say they would have Cathedrals house that okay thank you love you bye

You are mistaken, Ernie came to the Cathedrals in 1990, after then tenor Kurt Young flubbed the ending of "This Old House" at the Dove Awards. Ernie came within weeks of that occurrence, you can look it up here on YT. Mark Trammell was still with the Cathedrals at that time, you can also look that up. Not sure of date he left for Gold City, but he trained Scott Fowler to take his place AFTER Ernie came on board, and there's several video's on here with them singing together with the Cathedrals, just fyi.
Yes, Ernie and Mark recorded only one album, "Climbing Higher and Higher"(1990), this song "Oh! What a Savior!" belongs to this album!
Too bad the lineup with Ernie and Mark wasn't showed in Reunion(1996), since all members were there!

I never get tired of Ernie Hasse singing Oh What A Savior. I had listened to this song for years I had no idea it was Ernie Hasse until I found it one night on UA-cam It blesses my soul. I enjoyed watching Mark Trammel trying to sing high like Ernie It was a joy to watch him. I also loved the way Ernie Hasse included the audience to sing along with the group on the end of this video. I love Ernie Hasse and Signature Sound. What a blessing they are.

Ernie has sung this for what seems like forever. And to be honest, some times are better than others. For some reason he's felt the need to change the rhythm and melody of the song at times and to me it sounds terrible. BUT when he sticks to the way he sang it all those years with the Cathedrals like he did on this video, he just knocks it out of the park.
Love your music but have yet to attend a concert as I live in small town and due to strokes don’t get around very well at all
