Man, I appreciate you watching this! Yeah, I wanna grade both those cards but Mosaics always come back 8's. Then they become damaged goods as far as the market is concerned. I'll probably still do it because these cards are sharp.
@sportscardhub6388 I haven't had the courage to grade yet cuz idk what I'm really looking for besides very obvious stuff that's wrong. So if it's ur experience that way with mosaic, ur better off keeping them raw
Love your taste of cards just like me I buy lots of football. I have 2 Travis Etienne 1/1 from leaf. I am Neutral with DCI in terms of investment long term or short but from a collectors perspective do what you love! Great Content. Gem 10 grading in the only company I stay away from!!
That's good intel, and thank you! Yeah, $10 a slab is good if it's something you wanna keep or bulk grading of lower end stuff. I really like Leaf products. Licensure or not, they just make a great looking card. Thanks for watching this!
That's literally it! We're not safe even at the hobby level now. Retail has nothing but parallels in it and there's hobby boxes now that don't even guarantee an auto. Then you get one and it's a 2nd string defensive player who already got cut and joined the CFL.
@@sportscardhub6388 It's been that way for years. Upper Deck was notorious for this mid-2000's with their Sweet Spot and SPx products...$150 boxes with $5-$10 hits. A $100 hit is nice but they still paid twice that for the box. Busting packs can be fun, but it's always been a suckers game.
I really appreciate that! I definitely took some time on this one. The next ones are gonna be great too. Some cool deals went down. Thanks for being here for the new one!
No, Im on the other side of the country. Im sure its a great show though. I considered going to The National next year. But that's still a maybe. Traveling is more expensive than ever and it has to make business sense. Culture Collision will be back in January and it's practically in my backyard so that'll be my next big show most likely.
Well you're right. There wouldn't be much point in that. I try to find low number parallels and/or hot players because generally if they're a 9 or better, you can get $20 out of a slab on Whatnot and if you're grading cost is only $10 you are usually in good shape there. And some cards I want to keep, I don't mind slabbing for $10.

That rice auto deal with Mahomes was sick. Wish I could find those deals

Imagine people paying $300-$500 to bust a box...and they end up selling their "hits" for $25 almost out of desperation lulz 😂

Are you going to go to the burbank card show???

Thank you! Thanks for tuning into this one!
Missed your videos!
Thanks! I have 2 more on the way and more shows to attend soon as well 👍
Bro said Travis Etiene breakout szn😂
He’s had his worst szn yet
Etienne needs to get traded. I don't know why the issues persist in Jacksonville, season after season. But he would be a better fit somewhere else.
@ yeah since tank has been doing solid Travis has been falling off with fewer and fewer stats
First!

Lol, value slabs, what's the point of paying $10-15 bucks to grade a card worth $1 or less just to resell it for $10-15 bucks or less.
