Ryan, this is the first video of yours for me to start learning Blender. I've been watching your vids for a few days now and comparing others available online, you really show yourself above all. You have by far the best Blender tutorials on planet earth. Your knowledge, quality of work, manner, and positive vibes are invaluable put together. Thank you for making and sharing these. I wish all the best for you, homie.
I know im too bit old but can you please help me how to fix the empty thing because when i do the array part if just gives me shape that it doesn't look like the plane, please help me i need to do that fast as i can
How do I make sure that the 3d cursor is located at the actual center? I'm guessing it would be hard for me to actually make it located it at the center(x0,y0,z0) by just clicking it?
I’m not sure if maybe you could help. In the array part, when I turn on object offset, then select the empty object, it just an expanded version of the original plane. How do I fix that?
For future folks coming here for detailed steps of @MzMoj0Joj0's solution: Select your plane, go to object>apply>all transforms> Left Mouse Click to confirm :)

In order to place loop cut to the centre you have to press escape after left click, pressing right click may cause some miss alignment.
yes that's right
in order to have a better merge, just rotate the empty by 360/8
Thanks for the tip! 👍
Wow very cool cant wait to do it after writing this comment !

My array modifier isn't making the object rotate its copying the 2 array in the middel of the axis. Ive applied my rotation an scale.
I think that you should make a tutorial on how to create snowflakes using geometry nodes
thanks for the idea

Press Shift C, to bring it back to the center
@@RyanKingArt Thank you!!
