@@forgotmyoldanonymousaccount My friend you already know what they would do why do you even bother trying to reason?
@@zkillyatt1738 wait I thought we were talking about the Devs not the publishers
Even sadder is the fact that people would still absolutely buy games from devs like that.
People nowadays just don't care.
But it's kinda eh, we reap what we sow. We made this horrid environment.
Mfw people dont understand devs are not the ones who decide to do microtransactions. Its the greedy c-suite and upper management turds that make them put it in.
Yet whenever BG3 speaks, his words are always true.
And then Helldivers 2 and Palworld both bust through the door, fire a pair of machine guns into the air, and shout “YEEHAAAW!!!”
Then among us just uses the vent in and hands COD a invitation to a dead games group
A game where you can goof around with your homies is always gonna win
I love how that's probably the reason people love Battlefield 2042 more than CoD, BECAUSE THEY TURNED A FUN LITTLE GLITCH INTO AN ACTUAL FUNCTION, IT'S SO FUNNY AND SO COOL!
COD used to be a game where you could goof around with the homies. Doesn’t feel like it anymore. Miss the BO1 and OG MW2 days.

@@DrWatson4 No idea.
@@DrWatson4Its entirely possible, problem is money and dev time. He has to get a locense, get a dev kit for each platform, and then develop it/port it to console. Usually that means having to change the PC game to fit the console version.

The "All my friends are dead and we didn't make quota" dance of fear and acceptance
The dance of LC is just such vibes
Lethal company doesn't make you scream at your opponents, more of screaming as you run away with a car engine
It’s the simplicity that draws our attention
Exactly sometimes simplicity is all a game really needs
and also maybe the fact that its actually fun and creative
and a big plus of the modding community, which is where the real fun begins.
Baldur's Gate sounds like a villain unveiling the hard truth to a idealistic hero
Or just trying to turn CoD to the dark side, which is extra ironic.
More like a truly neutral character in terms of tone

So many young people out of the US will grow up associating this music with Lethal company before ice truck and I love it.
Isn't it just a jingle version of "Chain Hang Low"? I haven't heard that song since middle school 😅
@@Fxrrxt2xIt actually dates back to at least the 1800's, being used in minstrel shows under some super racist names, look up the wiki article for Turkey in the Straw if you're interested as I'm not typing them here. Ice cream trucks used the jingle until the racist origins were brought to light and most stopped. Jibbs' use of the melody in Chain Hang Low without realizing the origins was ironically pretty fucking funny, leading a dude writing for XXL or The Source to classify its genre as "minstrel show rap".
Yes, I'm old.
@@ZacharyShade Yeah, I read about that after I made this comment. However, I still made the game's version as my ringtone because of how much I love the game 😅
@@Fxrrxt2x I think at this point it's really remembered as the ice cream truck song or the children's song "Do Your Ears Hang Low?", or like for you Jibbs' version lol. Definitely not saying that no one should use it or anything like that, it's just an interesting story. If you want to get philosophical about it, about the permanence of music and how it can transcend its racist origins as it gets passed down from generation to generation.

You mean...a great great asset to the company ?
great asset great great asset
You want to be the most profitable employee rather than the laziest?
I love how Larian boomed in popularity and became so involved in the state of the gaming industry. Have been playing their games since original Divinity series, and i love seeing them become "mainstream" while remaining decent people.
Theyve always been good games but it seems like a lot of people obsessed with baldur’s gate 3 are a bunch of horny weirdos who just play for the sex scenes
Them Voice acting skills pretty good, that could be a career possibility
And then Palworld kicks down the door and is like "WHATS UP MOTHERFUCKERS?" and passes out drunk.
Okay, i gotta say I love the smugness of BG3 just nodding whenever he’s called out for narrating cods pain in the end. It knows it’s the goat and treats it like it was nothing more than Tuesday for them, cause it’s so expected.
The sole reason Lethal Company is thriving is because... WEEEEE LOOOOVVEE the Company! The Company!
And yet the yappin was necessary
Lethal company is not FALSE BANNING EVERYONE and is entertaining!

We don't "love" Call of Duty, we "loved" Call of Duty.
Many great games, for me it was the original modern warfare series.
Call of Duty is like the iPhone. At some point instead of making the actual engaging new content that got them popular, they just kept releasing new versions of the same thing instead of trying.
