This video is proof that all the jokes we think are dumb in our own native language are exponentially funnier in a different language. I wouldn't have laughed as much as I did at 3 people saying "your mom" and giving the finger to each other if it were English, but in German this is PEAK comedy. Also to echo the sentiment some have here, this is actually really good for learning German as a non-native speaker. I'm in third year German right now but we haven't done too much straight-up dialogue and this is very helpful to learn how to pick up on what faster speech means.
I'm not learning german, I am learning japanese, but a very easy way to find native speakers who speak in an average or natural way is online. I watch japanese streamers often because it's great ear training. Really familiarizes you with the rhythm of different languages.
Yes, I really recommend doing that! I started watching stuff in english on UA-cam a few years ago, and my skills just developed from that! I had the basics of grammar already and some vocabulary as well, but just listening to natives talk taught me more typical expressions, patterns of word pronounciation, more grammar, too, actually! I learned a whole new time form before even learning what is was called! So, definitely beneficial, all that! Knowing multiple languages can really come in handy in some situations!
Thank you so much, that's awesome to hear! I wish you all the best in learning German. It's a very difficult language even for native speakers, so I have nothing but respect for anyone who _chooses_ to learn it. Please note that some translations aren't 1:1 though, so there are some inaccuracies with what I've wrote and what was actually being said :) But the meaning of every sentence did stay the same.

I know English is a common second language, but it still surprises me how so many people can master this language, especially with how difficult the spelling of words can be. I've been taking Spanish classes for years, and I can still barely speak a single sentence in that language.
Usually it's about dedication, or early exposure. The people who will find it easiest to have a second language of any sort will be people who started learning it young. Alternatively, you can take classes as a late teen or adult, but you will need more than just classes in order to gain proficiency. Many language classes are limited in the kind of things they teach about said language, and overall it just usually takes a lot of time and consistency, dedication to learn new things, constantly be using the things you have learned, etc. A lot of learning language is about repetition and consistency. You can even lose some familiarity with your first language if you stop speaking it completely for prolonged periods of time. But yes, it takes a lot of consistent effort and willingness to practice for at LEAST an hour every day, if not more to gain any significant headway on most languages.
What's difficult is to not learn it. It's everywhere, signs, advertisements, films, games, services, the internet, everyone has to know it, even if it's a difficult language to pronounce . It's insane how prolific it has become
I'm from Latin America, around the age of 11 or so, slowly learned English by watching cartoons (Because i couldn't put some of them in Spanish dub, so i had no choice but to use Spanish subtitles) So around the age of 16 or 17, i was decent enough in English to speak it, write it, understand it and read it. The comedic timing in these clips is superb, lethal company induced panic transcends language barriers (but the subtitles are still much appreciated, it’s a lot of work), and this video is perfect
My German is SO out of practice. Learned back in high school, almost a decade ago now. I realized recently that I should try to start watching cartoons and anime with German dubs while I go back through my old notes to practice. Still, I always surprise myself with how much I can recognize all these years later. Recognizing "ah, ich verstehe was die probleme ist" as "I understand what the problem is" rather than "see where the problem lies" (the subtitle) reminded me of how literal of a language it is. The subtitle was still a much more appropriate translation, as it worked better with the comedy of the moment. But remembering how we don't "sit" something on a desk, we "stand" it on a desk (and things like that) is proof to me that I can still get back to speaking it, and it probably won't take nearly as long as I keep fearing it will. Tangent aside, I think more videos like this will definitely be useful in refamiliarizing myself with the vocabulary and sentence structure. So, uh... I'll just leave a little subscribe and leave you to it :)
I won't lie, I treated this as a try not to laugh. The second last clip broke my entire being. Hearing you switch from German to screaming "A giant enemy spider!" while panic running was just perfect comedy
UA-cam recommended me this video like 20 times but I didn't watch it because I don't speak german. As you can see, I caved and honestly, this is one of the funniest videos I've seen in months. 10/10

Operation Barbarossa in a nutshell 1:35

Hygrodere: *wobbel*
Lootbug: YIPPEE :D
Bracken: Und ich bin der Uwe, ich bin auch dabei xD
3:15 they making very own sign language to communicate in complex.
Lol.
The comedic timing in these clips is superb, lethal company induced panic transcends language barriers (but the subtitles are still much appreciated, it’s a lot of work), and this video is perfect
"DA IST 'N GESCHÜTZ OH MEIN GOTT" (loud machine gun fire)
WWII ambience to study/relax to
4:50 *jerma noises* doo doo dodododododododododooooo
"Watch out! Giant Enemy Spide-" Lol.
There is just something so funny about hearing someone panic in a language you dont understand.
The sound of fear is universal to everyone lol
Fear is such a universal language, you can almost completely understand this video without subtitles
It's nice to see i can still understand a bit of german after 5 years without practicing it (only learned for a year though)
2:33 "Yep, yep, *NEI*-"
Internet needs a gameplay with at least 8 ppl from different countries to play this together LMFAO
0:32 sounds like something out of saving private Ryan
And they say Germans don't have a sense of humor.
German humor is no laughing matter.
I won't lie, I treated this as a try not to laugh. The second last clip broke my entire being. Hearing you switch from German to screaming "A giant enemy spider!" while panic running was just perfect comedy
0:32, my german brother experiencing the Normandy all over again... :P
0:56 God why do I keep laughing at the pickles just plopping there as he disappears-
Has my sense of humor deteriorated that badly??
You guys are one of THE best and funniest team's, i will not hesitate to vote at the speed of light that you're the best team.
"it's je gooooop" at 3:45 killed me
Man this is funnier with people speaking German, somehow.
3:40
Hoarder bug: “YIPPEE!”
Cleric: “AAH-“

OPA GANGNA-
Lol.🤣
4:32 when you have a bee allergy
UA-cam recommended me this video like 20 times but I didn't watch it because I don't speak german. As you can see, I caved and honestly, this is one of the funniest videos I've seen in months. 10/10
This is both really entertaining and a good benchmark for seeing how good I’ve become at understanding German while learning it, 10/10 video
Gute Clips und gut editiert :3 Ich glaub mir gefiel am Besten 4:43 "Oh, ja das ist besorgniserregend." xD Und dann auch dieses Monster Pech, wenn 3 auf dich lauern o.o
When he said "GOOP" that's what really got me xD
3:06 this still kills me. Even if I never learn to fully speak German, I will always remember "deine mom."
"Gott varum " is my fav clip and that was a good choice for thumbnail. I laughed so hard when he said it so defeated 😂
2:49 the "hallo , hey , moin" is soooooo german pahahah
What do you mean?
3:07 I need the helmet
I cannot get over the sudden, fully in english, giant enemy spider. Phenomenal video good job on the editing :D
