It's just hard you know, even admit to yourself that you struggling in situation you have always dreamed of. It's a such a relief to hear that other people feel the same and you can relate to them. I'm glad you're adjusting and its okay to struggle with the move-I don't think I'd be able to cope tbh so you've done awesome and just take it easy on yourself! I'm adjusting to 2nd year of uni and it was nice to hear that it gets easier and becomes more normal. Thank you for opening up about this and reminding us of the importance of the relationships and people in our lives!

Hi Sheen! thank you for sharing! I can also relate. I traveled to the USA when the covid was on peak in the I used to live. I can say that the first two months were really weird that I couldn't define the feelings I had. Now I am home after completing the program and I miss it so much. That experience made me grow very fast. Alhamdulilah!
I moved to Sydney, Australia at a similar age to you. I cried a lot in the first 2 weeks. It took a long time to feel like home but then suddenly it did. Silly things like not knowing where to shop, not having anyone to fall back on was stressful initially. These are crazy anxious times on top of that. Fantastic to see you talking so openly about this. The ability to do that is a superpower! I have moved around a fair bit since then. You can always move on but you will forever be one of the folks who lived an adventure!
It’s so brave of you to talk about your struggles and uncertain thoughts.. I hate “fake it till you make it” attitude. It’s hard to channel up your emotions at a new place. Best of luck for the journey ahead 🤍
Omg Sheen, you have no idea how much I relate to everything you said. I came across your video for a reason, Im sure of it, but thank you so much for your bravery to share your emotions with us. I also relocated to the UK by myself due to a job, and everything you said is just so acccurate. You did were lucky on feeling well after 2 months, Im on my 8 month and still miss my family somuch. As you said, being grateful for everything is key and helps to put everything into perspective. From where we were 1 year ago, to where we are now, we're super blessed Thanks again for sharing this, and you got a loyal new subscriber now :)
I moved to the UK for work. Coming from a country (13-hour flight away) where ppl work long hours to a country where ppl don't work long hours are kinda shocking. But I get used to it. Hehehe. But yes, I was alone and lonely. I have work friends and that's it. I was so lonely that I resigned after 2 years and moved back home. Now that I am older, I kinda regret it and should have waited for at least 3 more years.
You've done an amazing job of what is an exceptionally difficult change. And of course you have doubts and worries, that's just life. The trick is to recognise the difference between normal situational anxiety and your anxiety trying to tell you something important.
