- Lamborghini Diablo GTR is one of the strong handling cars for S2-Class on Dry conditions. It was obtained in Update 16's Spring Seasonal Playlist. It is a great S2-Class car for handling tracks but not the best either as it is overshadowed by other top tier S2-Class cars. Tune used is by Nalak28.

Lamborghini Diablo GTR S2-Class Performance review:
As the title says, amazing handling but top speed is on the weaker side. Acceleration is pretty much on par with the majority of the handling S2-Class cars. The Diablo GTR is affected by wet penalty making it a Dry only car and it is affected by Dirty Air.
But one of the downside of the Diablo GTR is it is a bit twitchy to drive and it is not the easiest. The car in general is stable but sudden weight transfers can cause the car to slide. Overall a great handling car for dry conditions if you can manage the weight transfer.

What's the issue again? It's a track car, it's supposed to sacrifice straight line speed for cornering.
@@No-vq1iv yh but this game race design has loads of straight line so only cars with top speed thrive and only a small of circuits can be used with the diablo gtr while being competitive
You can also tune it to have great acceleration with the V12R, 1122 HP and no weight reduction, but then you lose the handling. So it is an "allround" car, but it also isn't since you need different tunes for different things. That's why I have 2 Diablo GTRs, one for each type of racing. Hope this is helpful
yes but other cars can get close to that power numbers while having more handling than the Diablo GTR with no weight reduction. i love the car but ist just not viable for online racing. (not that you cant do well in it obv.)

@@postmalonekilledmydaughter well that's the meta for you. Sure, there are other cars like the BAC mono, veneno and Huayra BC which are great for countering meta w/o the rave12, but apart from that each class is dominated by 1 or 2 engines. I don't have an opinion about this, because performance is performance, regardless of whether you need to swap an annoying engine to have a fast car. If engine swaps did not exist, you would have very limited cars that are actually good, and making those cars completely annoying to go against. Think of it that way. You wouldn't want every class to have something like the pre-ban bone shaker, right?

It's a bug that can sometimes happen. I've been in summer races that just suddenly start raining or snowing mid-race. Real weird stuff.

Honestly it didn't do too bad considering what it was up against.
That said I'd assume with better gearing and cams it should go higher than that... The Diablo already had a higher than 200 top speed in the 90s.
im not a big fan of s2 but i usually go diablo gtr, 599xx e, or fxx. cant remember which diablo tune im using (not my own) but it is solid enough.

I just put the heaviest wheels on mine with the stock engine pro-charged gets you 220's with like 0.1 lat g loss at 120.
I think this car is better without Weight Reduction. My tune uses the Racing V12 (sadly), pushing 1,122 hp and weighs 2,876lb. This is a better power to weight ratio than the showcased build. Top speed is 252.7 mph and the handling values are 1.51 and 1.81 which are still pretty good. I've had great success with it in online adventures, but it is really only for dry racing because racing slicks.

@@christianjones1958 cars don't drop at midnight. Season change is at around 2:30pm GMT, then the car can be won from seasonal events.
Theres also a tune which gives you great top speed up to 360 km/h, but has a bit weaker acceleration due to a 4 gear tune build, maybe give that one a try

You might wanna try out the Charger Daytona. Surprisingly good in A Class. Its good in S1 too, but you need to use the hellcat's V8 which gives you a perfect 50/50 weight distribution
He has a tune for that in s1 but its pretty old. I havent used it recently but last time i did it still claps

And it's got a high top speed too.

The tune I use has extreme acceleration, amazing handling and a top speed of 245+. This car is legit broken with this tune in s2 class right now.

I'm not a fan of the AWD swap meta, but even in RWD, it's top speed is pretty weak. It's the same with my CLK GTR that's still RWD, except that thing handles even better, and has such good acceleration that even against more meta cars, it can more than keep up, before flying past in the corners.
Logan Eades I gather that's in MPH? My CLK GTR tops out around 320 KMH, which is something like 180 MPH iirc. It's not fast, but it can get to that top speed pretty quick, and it's so fast though the corners that even cars with twice the top speed have trouble keeping up, provided I don't make any mistakes.
Logan Eades I'm not much of a tuner either tbh. Just little bits here and there depending on whether the car oversteers or understeers.
Hell, I'm pretty sure I set my CLK GTR up before I started doing more tuning lol. Might have a look and see if I can make it better than it already is.
I wouldn’t dare to race in S2/X class cars online. They’re too twitchy and fast for me to race cleanly, most of the time I can’t react to a corner as it arrives so quickly. At most I would race S1, but even then it’s still pretty chaotic
With the right car and the right tune s2 is much more enjoyable than s1 especially for me

Can't believe the FXX is still the fastest S2. What about the Pagani Zonda R FE or the Koenigsegg CCGT? still not better?

FXX is one of the top S2 dry sprint car, Zonda R FE is good for that as well but not quite when it doesn't have the Racing V12 swap like the non-FE version. Koenigsegg CCGT is one of the meta for S2 dry circuits though, as well as that CLK GTR.
The FXX isn't the fastest S2 in the first place. There are plenty of cars that aren't on that leaderboard

@@MrMoral_ well I'll give a short summary. It is somewhat similar to the TVR Speed 12, considering its top-tier acceleration alongside a lot of understeer in mid or high speed corners. Great for sprints like Lakehurst Forest, Derwent Lakeside, Lake District, etc.

nah. the pi System caps its power too low to overcome the drag. the car prolly has more top Speed in X class but it isnt played online. this cars biggest Problem is that you cant fit much power into it before going into X class.

No it's not. Lotus Elise GT1 and Shelby Monaco KC will clearly beat this car for S2 winter. Same story with Ford Mustang DD and Porsche Cayman GTS for S1 winter.

Also why do you shift up after rpm hits the rev limiter at least 3 times? Just shift up earlier dammit.

He plays manual with clutch, so it hits the limiter a few times when he clutches.
@@ollepersson4385 1:06 that shift was pretty slow imho. Also as far as i know clutch only benefits for slow shifting cars not for the race car which already has instant shifting time.

Your lambo has a bad top speed because you have the stock engine installed, it has great stats in s2 class with the annoying engine, good handling, braking, launch, accel and top speed, just look for a tune or something
