  • Pasteurization is the process of heating milk to remove any pathogenic bacteria that may be present; without altering the flavor. HTST pasteurization is one method and UP or UHT pasteurization is a newer process that's used more frequently. More questions about Organic Valley milk? Visit out FAQ page: organicvalley....

    I wonder if a study has been done regarding whether the human body digest pastutised or unpasturised milk better. Simply because science shows there's an unchanged nutritional value does not necessary mean the nutrition will be absorbed by the body.

    • @Qingeaton
      @Qingeaton 2 роки тому +7

      Probably the study was done and it didn't look great, so they quit looking at it.
      A lot of people take calcium supplements that aren't adsorbed by the body.

      weird thing is, i got mild stomachache and watery stool when i drink pasteurized milk, while doing fine on raw milk.
      watched videos about pasteurized vs raw and decided to test it myself. that was like, wtf lol. been boiling my milk for years thinking that the watery stool is a good sign, turn out it just my body failing to process it perfectly.

      Lies. Pasteurization is for extending shelf life while it destroys the enzymes in milk which would normally prevent it from being so inflammatory and unhealthy to our gut. This Frankenfood leads to leaky gut, fatty liver, pre-diabetes, Crohns disease, lactose intolerance, etc..

    Organic valley, there’s a lot of information out about ultra-pasteurization denaturing proteins in milk, which can cause issues. It’s one thing to say that the milk isn’t as nutritional dense... it’s another to say a type of milk is ‘not good for you’.
    Is this true, with any real evidence? I tried raw and didn’t care for the taste, so I’m wondering if low-temp pasteurized has a significant difference from ultra-pasteurized milk.

    • @organicvalley
      @organicvalley  4 роки тому +7

      Thank you for your question, Chad. Scientific studies have not shown significant differences in protein quality between pasteurized and raw milk. Additionally, we are required to pasteurize our milk in order to cross state lines. Importantly, pasteurization neutralizes harmful pathogens that may be present. We offer a majority of our milk products in HTST (low temperature) and UP (ultra-pasteurized) versions to meet the various needs of our fans. Please feel free to reach out to our Consumer Relations team: bit.ly/312fOWJ to chat further about the differences between milk options.
