The tips (the soft taps over the net) are used to mess up the opponents with a short one after having hitting it hard to keep the opponents on their toes, its also used to just get the ball over the net when the set is off (maby 2 close to the net) as an alternative so you get the ball over and get a new chanse to get the point instead of just hitting and probably just get blocked. A good timed tip is just as effective as a hard hit

Hi from a very wet east coast of Australia 🇦🇺 we have had that much rain in NSW that it has been declared a disaster. Lots of towns under water we are just inland and can’t walk out our back door other wise we will sink into the grass. Stay safe everyone 🦋💝
