I did my coaching from Kota Allen, now am an MBBS doctor. But 1 thing I promise myself that i will never-ever send my kids to Kota, to undergo extreme pressure, mental torchure & trauma. Kota creates self doubt, low self esteem. Some teachers have bad intentions towards Female students. Many students are lost in the lime- light of Drugs, Sex and Sleep. Moreover the hostel/ PG owners are the worst. They talk sweet when your parents are with you, and then finally reveal their real color once they leave. Negativity everywhere

कोटा में मेरे लिए भी सपनों का शहर जैसा लगा जब मै अपने बेटा को वहां तैयारी करने को रखा था लेकिन असली समस्या वहीं से शुरू होती है यह परिजन को रोज अपने बच्चों को बात करके यह बताना चाहिए कि पढ़ो सफल हो गए तो भी ठीक नहीं हुआ तो भी ठीक। आज सफल हो गया यह हम सब का तकदीर है। असफल होने वाले छात्रों को भी इसी तरह दुसरे जगह भी संभावना है।

I can relate myself with your explanation bcz i took coaching there in 2005-07 but unfortunately could not clear medical entrance exam. but one thing must be kept in mind that whether you become an engineer/doctor or not from kota but definitely you will be successful in your life in any other field if you have really given honest effort to your subject...By the way now I am assistant professor of zoology in central university that all due to my teachers of Kota...thanks

Very honest analysis! My son was two years at kota. But not clear neet. He got 93% of icsc .i think he got talent. But go kota, that was our wrong decision. Because kota 's success rate maximum 5% .so i want to warn everyone take right decision. Because 95% student select to study their own place.

I have studied day and night there and faculty supported me too much.

I lived with my son in Kota from 2017 for 3 years. The pressure is too much. Also, there are many distracting things like drugs and cheap movies. You can buy pirated copies of 3 movies for Rs.10. So, kids get distracted and realise when it is too late. Pressure is not just on kids but also parents living with them. It is not a good city too send your 16 year old. My kid could not get through but i did see him struggle and supported him through out

IIT और medical दोनों का entrance cuet ug को दे देना चाहिए जोकि केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों में प्रवेश के लिए होती है । पाठ्यक्रम भी 12 लेवल का होना चाहिए । समय से पहले बच्चों का परिपक्व होना ठीक नहीं है।

Totally agree. I did MBBS nd MD Gynae. I was just average student.I gave UG pre xam with double drop in 2011-2012.but i tried my best because my aim was clear. Nd i got my PG seat without coaching.. Parents should aware of their children's behavior and give them mental support 🌸

But our society is so narrow minded that the think a child can pnly be successful by choosing science stream as an option and giving these entrance exams. Our society's mentality needs to be changed.

I am a doctor setteled in UK . I am basically from Kota and visit Kota twice a year. What you have potraid is partial story. There are two issues I have noticed first the parents are ultra rich, the son or daughter gets twenty thousand rupees a month and even more. They live in luxury apartments some of the valuce of 10.000 Rs per month especially in Rajiv Ghandi nagar. And they become drug addicts and hard core. Those who want to study do it but you have to remember the colleage and institute canot keep eagle eye on them. 24/7. What we need in these places is mental and councilling facilities. I feel I sad to listen to your naration. Please keep me unanimous

it's very true. i remember i was preparing iit examination in jaipur on 2013. I can't remember if i met my school friends in that year. there was no time for our habits. Just attending classes, travelling home to coaching & vice versa. This is how that whole year went with tremendous pressure. But as shams bhai says suicide is not the only way😔.

Sote jagte bss yehi feel hota hai ki avi mai so rha hu to koi aur pdh rha hoga 😓😓. Aur issi drr se sone ka v mn nai krta . Mock tests me marks km aane pr sch me bachho ko categories me bat dia jata hai aur confidence ki aisi taisi ho jati hai. 😔😔. Din bhar pdhai krne k bad v lgta hai ki kuch nai pdha . Aur chhuttti k nam pr bhut sara homework mil jata hai . Parents k bharose ko dhyan me rkhte hue pdhai krne k bawjud ye lgta hai ki agr nai ho paya to sb ka viswas uth jayega . 😢😢. in 2014,my nephew Mr Subham Goyal ranked SIX in JEE exam . He took coaching from Lakshay institute,Patiala. A person from Kota came to us and offered Rs Five lacs just to write a message as he has taken coaching from their institute of Kota( name of institution concealed) but we rejected his offer of five lacs and remained intact with Lakshay.

I would like to take this opportunity to admire my parents. Both my mother and father believe that whatever a child wants to do, he should be given full freedom to do that. Which is why, they allowed my brother to do his masters in International Relations Diplomacy Business and Law and now he is working as an Assistant General manager in OP Jindal Global University. As for me, it was my aim since my childhood that I want to do my graduation in political science from the university of Delhi. My dream came true when in the year 2022, having successfully cleared Common University Entrance Test, I was given admission in Motilal Nehru College where I am studying at present, and living a happy life.

I cracked AIEEE with AIR 1068(Gen)but I was not confident so didnot write IIT JEE that year. I have taken coaching in Akaash Institute back in 2007 and can relate the pressure situation. Completed degree from NIT Trichy and now running my own company successfully today. But I must say when I look back to the journey and the coaching I feel every bit was definitely worth it. But definitely students must introspect and discuss with their parents with an open mind and understand if really they are prepared to handle the tremendous pressure. If the answer is yes from within, they should surely give it the shot. If we fail also we should accept it with an open mind and move towards any other career of interest. It's a challenging journey ofcourse but definitely suicide is not an option at all. My younger brother is currently studying in IIT BOMBAY he is AIR 07.

Success performance may b better but I don't think 🤔 compare to different areas where students take coaching N cleared entrance exam they would have best performance

मैं भी कोटा गई थी, भाई बड़ा बेकार एक्सपीरियंस था। हफ्ते के हर दिन रो कर निकाल दिया करती थी। मेरी performance जबकि बुरी हो गई! That kind of competition is not for everyone, some students do better in individual tuition and need care and attention in small classrooms, मैं डॉक्टर बन गई हूं, पूरा medical college में उतना परेशान नहीं हुई जितना कोटा में हुई थी, MBBS करना कोटा से गुजरने से आसान था।
I went there in 2013... First 2 months everything was going good .. then i got ill due to food poisoning and hot weather conditions... Then they rescheduled my batch... I got d3 batch.. which was. Not good at all.. i got depressed and teacher were moving too fast .... Due to which my performance became bad .. my mind was out of control.. ..i used to go to game zone and watch movies
.. i never watch movies till now ..what I watched during kota journey... It started because of one misconceptions that lower batch teacher is bad... ..it students thinking..they are iitian tooo ... .. i cried ..i went to deep depression .. when start reading ..i was feeling headache . Then .. one day ..i cried and decided to committ sucide... ..in the same night.. i heard .. one of my friend committed sucide.. .. he was good in study compare to me.. they was preparing for iit since class 11 ... I was target batch students..... Then in the same night... I learned one thing.. be a strong man so that depression should not dominant on u.. ..i knowledge i will not be iitian. ...but i will learn many things from Kota chapter... .. kota journey was turning point for me .i became more mature and responsible person... Countless of experience ..... I learned diffrent face of students.. learned diffrent type of emotions in them .. .. .. ...my opinion for all parents :.. iit is something not everything in life
