Things assured in life. Death, taxes and Indrid wondering "How the heck did that happen?" each video at some point.

Pretty solid games this round, only tip I’ll add is Farseer range tech is rarely ever worth it. It’s 300 for a measly 10+ range and only for units *near* the Farseer, whereas you can get 15+ range for *all* of your units for only 100 from your tower. Sure it’s only for a single round but you could do it for three rounds before spending the same amount as the Farseer tech and still getting more range out if it, plus you can opt in and out if it as needed

In game 1, the reason your stormcallers suddenly stopped being able to kill their rhino is because you got stormcaller range. While that is pretty useful against big fat stationary enemies, it actually makes them worse vs anything fast-moving. The rockets aren't faster, they travel longer, so it gives the target more time to move out of the way.
I'm actually shocked you managed to win game 3. After your opponent got mustang missile defense, you should have started selling a stormcaller every round to fund a tech switch. The fact that you won despite basically being down ~1500 resources is pretty nuts to me. The fortress + sniper + farseer combo at the end was such a huge play.

Because of the range upgrade, a lot more Storms got aggro pulled by the flanks, so a lot less were firing at the Rhino.

Honestly, I'm not at all surprised he won. Mustang missile intercept remains a huge meme even after the buff. Yeah, he can sell, but why? He's wasting deployments if he does, and the storms will still do plenty of damage late in the round, especially in standard v standard. Meanwhile, the opponent has spent like 600-800 plus missile intercept cost on units that literally don't do anything but try to hit missiles the entire round. It's paying more money than your opponent did in order to defray but not remove the effectiveness of some of their units and deal zero damage of your own. It's a TERRIBLE deal. No reason to sell the storms and let the mustangs go back to dealing damage.

I think I've noticed this in previous games too but why not get Melting Points vs Overlords? They're giant units with big hp after all and that regen tech your opponent had would not have saved them vs the ramping dmg.
