Thanks for your video! Even with the instructions that came with my coin I still couldn't figure out how this trick worked lol. Bad English translation? Dumb magician? Tough to say, but couldn't have figured it out you, cause the instructions made no mention on how to use the ring. After watching your video I literally just banged the coin and ring not even knowing what to expect and hilariously blew my own mind as the trick revealed its self to me HA ha ha.

This seems like it would only work for a very specific audience(drunk). From the awkward way the "coins" are held to the fact that they are two completely random coin types wouldn't really fool anyone.

Wrong, I perform for sober folks and they are blown away. Your assertions about this are incorrect
      My version is fool proof.

@@eliteman58 The first time I saw this trick, the magician put the coins in my hand and told me to squeeze the coins. Then he revealed that he had the Mexican coin (he simply palmed the real coin) and had me open my hand, revealing the single fifty cent coin. I had no experience with magic tricks and was amazed because "the magic" had happened IN MY HAND!! I was completely sober at the time.

Centavo is a singular (Mexican/Philippine penny) coin & *centavos is plural* , i.e. more than one (penny) coin - work on that pal & another thing Señor Mago; *coin-snapper* ? It's called a *coin-bang* Mr. Magic - & are those *_hands_* or are they bear-paws?

Did a magician touch you inappropriately as a child or something? Is that where the hate comes from?

That's NOT a centavo. I just said tried this on someone from Mexico and I got called out in the middle of my trick. It's a British Penny

@@taylorsnyder3329 Depends on your set of coins. Mine is an American 50 cent piece and a Mexican centavo. 😎
