I’ve seen thousands of concerts including most, if not all, of the truly great rock, progressive rock, Jazz and Jazz Rock groups. This includes; “The Beatles”, “Cream”, “Jimi Hendrix”, “The Who”, “King Crimson”, “Led Zeppelin”, “Miles Davis”, “Pink Floyd”, “Yes”, “ELP”, “Jethro Tull”, “The James Gang”, “SuperTramp”, “Roxy Music”, “The Rolling Stones”, “The Mahavishnu Orchestra”, “Grand Funk Railroad”, “The Police”, “Sade”, “George Michael”, “Marvin Gaye”, “Steely Dan”, “The Allman Brothers”, “U2”, “Wang Chung”, “David Bowie”, “The Church”, “Wishbone Ash”, “Porcupine Tree”, “The Pineapple Thief, and many many more. There’s no comparison between “Cream” and “Rush”. I saw “Cream” live in 1967 at the Grande Ballroom and in 1968 at Olympia Stadium. Those live performances along with performances by “The Who” and “Jimi Hendrix” are the reason I started playing the Drums. I’ve seen “Rush” live several times starting in 1974 at “The Michigan Palace” in downtown Detroit. The last time I saw “Rush” live was during the “Vapor Trails” tour in 2002. I’ve been regularly listening to “Cream” especially “Disraeli Gears” and “Wheels Of Fire” for nearly 40 years. I rarely listen to “Rush”. In my opinion, “Rush” is simply not in the same league as “Cream” either creatively or musically. “Cream” was revolutionary. They fundamentally changed Rock music. “Rush” is derivative. Lee, Leifson and Peart simply lack the improvisational firepower and musical training to be realistically compared to Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce and Eric Clapton. Add the severe limitations of Lee’s vocals and you have, for me, no comparison at all. “Sunshine Of Your Love” is a blues based song (written in 1966-67) that also contains elements of hard rock, psychedelia, and pop. Jack Bruce based the song on a distinctive bass riff he developed after attending a Jimi Hendrix concert. When it was released, it was considered revolutionary and radically advanced for rock music. “Rush” routinely cites “Cream” as a major influence on its evolution. Neil Peart cites Ginger Baker as one of his biggest influences. In fact Peart once told “Rolling Stone Magazine” that “Ginger Baker’s playing was revolutionary; extrovert, primal and inventive. the most impressive thing is that the drummer really understands Peart's approach and drags the tempo the same way Neil used to....so it sounds really authentic in ways that a lot of good drummers would likely fail at....
Neil got bad with this during moving pictures. He often played way too damn slow. Drove me nuts. He started picking it back up on the GUP tour. Idk what his deal was with that back then but thankfully he didnt stay slow for too long.

TRTP- I am new to your fan base, but I am sold. Wow, hard to duplicate 1 of the most talented bands ever on all 4 measures- guitar, drums, bass and vocals. You guys blow it away!
Great Job!
They did a hell of a good job! Can’t imagine the hours of practice this must have put in on this. Give the singer credit for tackling that vocal.
the most impressive thing is that the drummer really understands Peart's approach and drags the tempo the same way Neil used to....so it sounds really authentic in ways that a lot of good drummers would likely fail at....
Neil got bad with this during moving pictures. He often played way too damn slow. Drove me nuts. He started picking it back up on the GUP tour. Idk what his deal was with that back then but thankfully he didnt stay slow for too long.
just awesome .great tribute to rush ,u guys rock .
Terrific cover.......bravo!
I´m very exited! This coverband is brilliant. They play very close to the original. And the singer even got a similar voice like Geddy.
Way to shred that tune, dudes! Mighty fine job.
Excellent work guys you have definitely earned mad respect from me. I swear if I closed my eyes I would have heard Rush in the flesh. Their work is pretty hard to emulate but you guys have pulled off a major Herculean task. My hats off to you guys keep it up.
Any musician who knows his stuff will tell you Rush songs are quite hard to play..and you guys nailed it..well done to all three of you..please dont give up..the world of music needs this..!!!!
I can't see another cover band recreating rush music as well as these three men .Thank you guys and keep rocking !
How bout this band?

I had seen Rush tribute bands and this one, the best of all .... !!!!!!
Very small percentage of musicians could even do this close to correctly. Nicely done. Just imagine if they had created it all too. Blows my mind what those 3 gentlemen did. Many times over. Very nice guys. Very fine tribute
I've seen these guys 5 times. They do not dissapoint!
Fellas, Fellas, OMG, Amazing. Thank you for keeping the music alive.
Even had the floor tom at the correct pitch
Attention to detail! ❤️
This is far and away Rush's greatest song.
I agree and this version gives me chills just like the original does. Spectacular job, fellas
Rush’s greatest song? This is one of the best pieces of popular music ever written lol.
For me its second, first is cygnus book 2 hemispheres, both are heavenly awesome
@@conscriptreporting6265 Rush simply could not do wrong from that period 2112 to Moving Pictures. IMO they went downhill in the 1980's with the over-use of keyboards.
Holy crap. I had this video playing while surfing on another tab and I thought it was a rush video. These guys are f'king awesome!! I would love to see them.
Ive seen Rush ~40/50 times. Neil was my drum hero. This drummer nailed it all, including ghost notes. He studied hard and it shows ! Hope you guys do a show somewhere on the east coast.
Just trying to emulate their sound is hard enough. To play this jaw dropping version of Xanadu is insane. I wish there would have been more people there to appreciate it.
I usually hate tribute bands but you guys ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT!!! There you go Rush...if you want to know how good you sound just go and see these guys!👍 RIP Neil! We miss you!
These guys are good. I saw Moving Pictures tour in Phoenix in 1981 with Max Webster opening. RIP Neil Peart.
Lol seen them same tour in Toronto Canada 1981
The drummer is very solid which allows you guys to do the songs right! Well done : )
So is the guitarist, and the Geddy impersonator is decent too.
One of my favorite Rush songs, This band nailed it. Kudos
Xanadu is more than a song. It is a journey and it took me away...still takes me away....Rush was ONE of a kind. High art. Excellent job guys!
Amazing job on an epic song
I love what you do and I am a major RUSH fan. I loved the performance and the way way that the video was shot. Man cudo's to you sound guy, I know that it's not easy to get that kind of sound at an outdoor venue
Man what a reminder of some great memories.
I wouldn't be brave enough to attempt Rush tunes in PUBLIC!!! Good job!
fantastic job guys ! and the drummer, even if he s not flamboyant, really plays the exact fills, respecting the originals
I've said it elsewhere, I'll say it again here....WOW! Truly live, no studio overdubs, planes taking off, trucks driving past and almost note perfect. Rush themselves couldn't have done any better.
wow really very good ..................very good..........................
These guys are really good. Great sound. They are all in sync. Hard song to pull off but they sound great for this to only be a “hobby”. Wow.😮
I love how the singer and drummer are pretty much doppelgängers of Lee and Peart, respectively. Nice to see so much passion go into a project :)
Yes this band here doesn't look like Rush as much; but RE GOOD TOO.

THX for sharing this EPIC rendition! God Bless!!!
You guys are BY FAR the best RUSH tribute band ever!
guys you should be playing in stadions around the world. Never ever before experienced a Rush tribute band like yours.I am amazed.greetings from Danmark.
It’s so good to hear Rush music from such fantastic musicians. RIP Neal
You guys are great!!!!!!!
I saw Rush 3x's and I am a fellow pro bassist and covered rush tunes in HS these guys are fantastic. Bass/vox well done voice got more warmed up as the composition went on ! Bravo to you 3
Best cover or trib band that i have enjoyed. Drummer has terrific meter while climbing Peart mountain
My favorite Rush song and you guys did it GOOD!
Pretty amazing...the best RUSH tribute band I've ever heard :-)
Just saw these guys last night at The River City Casino in St. Louis on 11/18/22 and if you ever have the opportunity to see this band play then you need to go... They were absolutely fantastic. They put on one of the best shows that I have seen in a long time for a tribute band. I hope you guys come back again next year or even sooner. The only downside was that the venue only let them play 90 minutes otherwise I could have watched them play all night and the audience agreed. Thanks for coming to St. Louis guys and please hurry back.
These guys are amazing, lifelong rush fan an when I went to see these guys play in logansport In I was blown away,,go see them
Well done!
Excellent rendition by all three players 👍
Nailed it!
The struggle is real.... They gave it a valid effort and for that (only) I will give a thumbs up.
That was just plain badass🤘
Awesome!!!!!! Amazing musicians and flawless play!!!!!
Wow....just wow!
Great job... My first Rush show was A Farewell to Kings, 1977 Toronto and sad to say I've only seen them 5 other times... Been a fan since Fly By Night..
Awesome job guys! Excellent musicianship. Drummer is spot on Peart! Synth work is as well. Cheers from S.C.
I started playing guitar after hearing this song for the first time at 14 .. volume at 11.. don't send the beatles songs to the aliens , send Rush' Xanadu ( aptly titled LOL)
Kubla Khan by Coleridge
Wow that's amazing. I'm baffled that every element of that performance, well done!
Nice job on some very difficult music, from a generation of incredible music.
I am very impressed! Going to see them in a month in Michigan! Can't wait!
outstanding...I saw 62 Rush shows first 1978 in Reno last The Forum Aug 2 last show. Do I need to make another road trip to see this or do you boys ever venture out west?
