Never owned a PS2 (just PSP/Vita for Sony items), was an Xbox guy during my console years... it was always interesting that THQ/Climax made the Xbox games and Namco... and watching this, makes me thankful for Climax cause the early Xbox games knocked it out of the park vs what I'm seeing here (MotoGP 08 was the first to be multi-platform).
That's how bikes handle in real life though They obviously don't have as much lateral grip as cars with 4 wheels so that's why they carry less speed through the corners
MotoGp 1, 2, 3 & 4 were made by NAMCO and were based after their GP500 arcade cabinet. MotoGp 07-onwards are all made by Milestone, the company that still makes MotoGp games to this day.
Those Namco Moto GP games were epic.
