I've travelled to 7 countries solo myself actually in Europe and it's been interesting. Albania looks similar to some parts of Germany (Berlin) and Norway (Oslo) - landscape wise.

If you have a UK Visa you can travel to the Balkan countries and some other countries too; Albania is one of them. Also, your Schengen visa too lets you travel there and the rest Schengen areas . Yes I travelled to Albania regularly it is such a nice country and people are very friendly and it is super Safe no problem. Regarding the stares it’s so true 😂 Albanians people stare a lot i will even say in the balkans in general. Now there are a lot more black in people in Albania .

Albania is a wonderful country and I’m not trying to discourage people from going, but when someone asks why it might not be safe for solo travelers-especially black women, she’s sadly an example of a woman who tried living there, was stalked, beaten, s3xually abused and then killed. It happens is all I’m saying. Of course murders happen in Kenya, they happen everywhere, but as a black woman especially you’d stick out and might receive unwanted aggressive attention in a country like that is all I’m saying.

Albanians and Germans just stare in general. At everybody. We don't even notice it since it is so normal to us.

Albania is one of the safest countries in Europe it’s ranked even safer than South Korea on the global peace index.
most people don’t rank it safe. it’s a misconception people need to abolish from their mind. its one of the most beautiful places I have visited.
