I think it all has to do with the heart..
When you fall in love with your man or woman...your heart jumps..opens up...you desire no secrets toward your partner.
It,s when you love your parents deeply.
It,s the smile you get when you feel the spring sun on your face and the gentle breeze touching your cheeks.
It,s the overwhelming feeling when seeing nature,s glory
The heartwarming small gesture or smile from a child.
    The wonder of birth...
In all these things i feel the glory of my Father with my heart.
And when i start speeking about it there,s a passion in my heart that hopes to let you feel the same like i do.
And i feel so humble..but yet so forfilled to..i got tears of joy when i speak about my Father.
I hope you all feel that same passion to...don,t be afraid...
Be proud of our Father...and show it!!

Hey there. I was wondering if you’d ever be willing to video chat with me. I’m going through a lot of anxiety regarding church fathers, and their seemingly contradictory (almost Catholic sounding) statements to the faith I’ve always held which is grace by faith. I’d love to just chat with you about these struggles as you seem so smart and i watch your videos often.

Hi Pastor John. Found you on UA-cam about 2 weeks ago. Been listening a LOT to your videos. Thank you for your solid tesching. In Acts 8:15-16 NIV "When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, [16] because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.". I wish you would have expounded on this. Specifically, this seems to suggest that there is a separate act that occurs...the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is taught in the pentecostal church. Is there a separate video that you can lead me to that explains this in detail?

None could be Baptized in the Holy Spirit until the day of Pentecost when the Hoy Spirit came back after Jesus went up. Those Baptized before that had to get the Holy Spirit later. After Pentecost we are Baptized in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. It’s all in one Baptism now. There is no separate Holy Spirit Baptism

Ore Baso, I know your question was for John, hope this helps.
Joel propecised the "Holy Spirit would fall upon all flesh."
When the day of Pentecost came the Holy Spirit fell on the apostles (Acts 1:4-5; Lk.24:49; Acts 2:1-4) and only on the apostles, read Acts 2:14 also. The apostles represented the Jewish nation.
A few years later Philip went and preached to the Samaritans (Acts 8) which were Jews who maried Gentiles. God at this time had not yet granted repentance to the gentiles, therefore the Holy Spirit had not fallen upon "any of them," referring to gentiles. When word got to the apostles of the Samaritans believing the gospel and being baptized they sent John and Peter. While on their way they prayed that they may recieve the Holy Spirit, God granted their prayers, and the apostles layed their hands on them.
Later when God decided it was time for the Gentiles to be one with the Jews, he sent Peter to the house of Cornelius. There before Peter had the chance to tell them what to do to be saved, the Holy Spirit fell on the household. Not for the purpose of forgiving their sins, but to convince the Jews to accept the Gentiles as fellow citizens of the kingdom, as well as fulfilling Joel's prophecy. The household of Cornelius representing the Gentile nation, thus "all flesh."
In the NT there are only two occurrences of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. First on the apostles, then not again for ten years on the household of Cornelius. No one as of then has been baptized in the HS. We receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, not the baptism. It served its purpose.

Jesus speaking to Nicodemus..unless a man is born of water and the Spirit,, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Peter reiterated this,, to be saved {Acts2vs38} REPENT and BE Baptised in Jesus name '''for the remission of sins''',, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.... Acts is replete in this born of water and spirit necessity,, to then develop in holiness,, and the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit

    Here is what gets me:
"Just making a decision, praying a prayer and going forward doesn't mean you're saved". Is the missing piece here only repentance? We hear "if you see no fruit you're probably not saved" we hear "salvation doesn't give a golden ticket to live however you want" we also hear "do you wrestle with your flesh? Because that's a sign of salvation if you do." I can certainly say I wrestle with my flesh every day to the point it makes me sick at night. Just thinking of my sin, some repetitive sin like fornication with my fiance, swearing, when I get really angry I can say such mean horrible things, I am like split between that person and also the person who that still voice of God that also pulls me back at times and gives me understanding rather than anger. Trust and hope instead of confusion, the strength to act on turning away from temptation. But then why do I still fall and do these other sins sometimes? What is my fruit? We hear "the demons believe and they tremble" is THAT me? Do I just have the knowledge but Jesus would say to me "depart from me you worker of iniquity I never knew you" Or am I "working out my salvation with fear and trembling?" I can certainly say I fear and tremble over my sins. God says "if you love me then keep my commandments". How many I break all the time! There is like two of me! One that "knows" of my love and dedication to Christ. And I defend him and his word to my many aquantences and connected friends who question things and bully me for being a Christian. I am not ashamed of Christ or the gospel. I witness to friends and family, I know not anywhere near how much I could or should. I advocate for Christ and desperately want my loved ones saved and close to Christ. I will never let go of Christ no matter how difficult my life will get. No matter how had it's ever been. I never have decided I don't want it or don't believe it. I've felt angry with God before in the past when I was a young adult but now even in the hardest worst times I cling to Him and know i will never deny him. But then why do I still fall for these particular sins?! "No fornicator shall enter the kingdom of heaven." If I'm saved why do I still fall and do this?! How can I be saved? Am I the only saved person who struggles with sin like this? I'm constantly yearning for MORE of the Bible. MORE learning of it MORE truth and yet here I am, still make that decision and sin. The Bible says if we are saved we are no longer a slave to our sin. What would one call me in my actions?! Free? Salvation is "not of ourselves" but we also have to make the choice to follow, to pick up our cross daily, to give ourselves up to God. When we sin and when we have a repetitive sin, how is that possible for someone who gave their life to Christ? I know the Bible is inherent word of God and there are no contradictions. It's me. God is not the author of confusion. Does anyone have any answers or opinions about this? If I really take a look I myself I see both things- I see proof of ones salvation and I also see repetative sin! So many people think they're saved and they're not. So why would I be one of the few in this world who got it right and is truly saved? I wish John Barnett replied to UA-cam comments. I would really appreciate and love his response to this . He has helped me learn much more in the past year or so.

      Not so.
Paul was speaking of his struggle with sin before he knew Christ. That’s why he celebrates his victory over sin because of the knowledge of Christ in Rom. 7:25
In verse 24 he asks “who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” Then he gives the answer as to who in verse 25.
We have victory over sin in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost.

Young lady you need to be filled with the power of the Holy Ghost it’s by that power that we deny ourselves.
After being saved we must be filled, or else we have no power.
      Ephesians 4:21-30 KJVS
[21] If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: [22] That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; [23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; [24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. [25] Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. [26] Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: [27] Neither give place to the devil. [28] Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. [29] Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. [30] And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

As for Paul, he wouldn’t go from GOD forbidding us to sin & we no longer living in sin in Rom. 6:1-2. Then all of a sudden he can’t help but sin in Rom. 7
Victory over sin is just what it says. It’s Victory not a struggle

BAPTIZED WITH WATER OR THE RUACH HA QODESH , Its the RUACH HA QODESH which save ,the water of baptism is for your sins , and now that the blood of YAHUSHUA has taken away your sin ,you do not need water baptism ,
    Acts 19
19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Set-apart Spirit since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Set-apart Spirit.
19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Messiah Yahushua.
19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Master Yahushua.
19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Set-apart Spirit came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
19:7 And all the men were about twelve.
Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mark 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
Mark 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
    John 1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
John 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
( And yet it was PAUL=ZAUL ,That baptized in the Holy Spirit, = RUACH HA QODESH ,
And all this is straight out of the Holy Scriptures and not from my mouth , Before ACTS 19 , . And in brackets at the bottom .)

This is just the beginning of your life in the teaching of God. By the time you reach 5th, 6th & 7th grade, you will be ready,by your learning of Christ and his bible, to receive Conformation. By Conformation, You will be given the gift of the Holy Spirit with in you. You will also be able to receive communion ( the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Think of it this way. He's right, baptism can't save you, but you can't be saved without being baptised. Get a concordance and read in the gospels and Acts all the scripture about baptism. The teachings area very clear.
It bothers me when people say to others, if you will just believe Jesus is Lord you will be saved and then quote John 3:16. Talk about out of context.
You must take all the teachings of the gospel and understand that you must hear the word, be convicted, repent of your old ways, confess with your mouth and be baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and arise from the water a new creation filled with the Spirit.
I realize I didn't write a whole list of Scripture, but I want to be as brief as possible, plus you must do your own study.

I know He did not teach a non believers baptism. They heard the gospel and believed, and then was baptized.
It is never that they are baptized and then believed. It is really that simple.
    Ephesians 1:
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory
These Ephesians were baptized after belief. They may of called upon the Lord with baptism, but they believed first.
Paul makes it clear when they are saved by God in Ephesians 1.
Peter made it clear in acts 15:
7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
    8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
He purified their hearts by water baptism? No!
He purified their hearts when they were baptized?
If they called upon the name of the Lord while being baptized, possibly, but it was because they called upon the name of the Lord.
    Romans 10:
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.
12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
If this is not enough to understand God grants repentance unto life because of our repentance to belief in Jesus by faith, then you do not believe scripture.

Yes, you are close, they were baptized by faith and into Jesus, or in the name of Jesus into His body , that is the baptism required for a believer, not water baptism, cause once you re baptized by faith then Jesus washes you with water of the Word, spiritual water, not physical.

Baptism is for the Jewish people for they were all to become priests. Their belief was only that Jesus was the Messiah. That's why Jesus was baptised . You must rightfully divide the Word of God... You need to teach Paul...

Eye-Ama Believer Only the Jewish priests were baptised. John the Baptist was talking to the Jews because all the Jews were meant to be priests for the Gentiles. That’s why they were Baptised. Jesus was baptised because He was Priest of the most High God. Paul was baptised because he was Jewish. From Genesis 12 till the 9th chapter of acts is written for us gentiles but not to us. It was written to the Jews... Study Paul. And God Bless you...

Richlind3811 Are you seriously saying that the unsaved don’t need to be baptized by God with fire? What about the gentiles being baptized in Romans 6:3-4 and 1Corinthians 12:13 - seriously, you should never add or take anything out of this book or you will be cursed so please be careful and especially don’t be preaching such a thing. I’m saying this out of fear for you, if Christ did it and says it then do it if at all possible. We are all sinners and need to be saved whether Old Testament Jew or gentile, please be careful this is how false man made religions get started. If god became flesh and did it, then preached it, it should be done if humanly possible.

Richlind3811 again be careful on judging people your treading on sacred ground - I’m a Born Again christian and saved by faith and have become a regenerated person that despised sin and know I’m saved without doubt- please be careful don’t take things out of the Bible based on your own assumptions and please don’t let your pride bring you into retaliation against a believer, I will pray for you and it’s probably best I let you be now, good luck !!

Richlind3811 I’d like to know who Peter was talking to when he said the same about priesthood in 1 Peter 2:9-11, is it not to all who believe?
