Proud new Jeep Willys 2023 owner and man-oman this was a cool video! Went from owning a SUV and almost purchased a hybrid and now since I got my Jeep there is so many awesome adventures I think that are just waiting to be explored! Thanks for sharing this! Really inspiring!
Another great video shots and views. Love love the music throughout. Thanks for bringing up the perspective on type of rig and how much to modify and build up. Helps to keep things simple and enjoy the trip.
lol, that dude was determined man... he wasn't giving up until he got away with some trophy which apparently came in the form of a water bottle. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Crazy to watch this video after just being there and there was no water at all. Definitely want to camp there when it's a bit cooler but still some water flowing.
We LOVE the Ozarks and will be back in March around Jasper area. Driving up with Velocity, our new 22 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon! Love the Hatchet Overland camper too! Awesome video! And those trails look intimidating! Hoping I can get that brave one day!
Nice catch.. that was a prototype model.. they since swapped it out with the production model that has stronger struts and a different tent material which makes it stand stronger.. thanks for watching!!!
@@NarleyAdventures yeah, the northern part of AR is awesome. can even get some elevation that helps the summers too. good luck to you getting your land!
What a beautiful stream! I have never seen anyone sit and eat dinner in a stream before. In Oregon, you'd be covered in mosquitoes! Great wheeling too!
I’ve been watching your channel (actually met you at Overland Expo West, in May. I really enjoyed your class-session) So, I also have an eco-diesel, and I’m wondering what your gas mileage is with the camper. Thx
I'm glad you enjoyed the class! Thanks for watching! I haven't been able to attribute really any fuel mileage loss as a result of adding the top. Before the lift and bigger tires I was getting right around 25mpg overall including around 28-29 on hwy and obviously the opposite of that avg in town. After lift and tires I noticed about a 1mpg loss which took me to around 24. Since the top has been added and now having driven a lot of "casual" driving of mix I still hover around 23.5-24 depending on how many times i go up and down the mountain i'm on. So I would say at worst, its 1mpg but might not even be measurable. The tires/lift did hit me but not but 1mpg. Another reason why I'm likely sticking with the 285 nitto's that measure out almost 34" when new. Its not the height as much as the width and as a result added rolling weight that really causes the hit. Less so on a diesel but these days every 1mpg counts. hope that helps.
I wanted to like this video until I saw the Whiteclaws. ;) I'm being facetious, this was a great video, other than the odd occasional frame rate issue..
Absolutely awesome! I could have spent a couple days at that campsite. All by yourselves too. So kool! Arkansas is known for a little humidity and heat. I bet that Creek really felt good. What a great trip you've been on. Enjoyed the videos tremendously.
Thank you so much for always commenting and watching! Looking forward to our next distance series coming up in our Wyoming trip coming in August. stay tuned for those and other more local trips as well.
Glad to see the Hatchet Overland camper out on the trails
It definitely saw it’s fill of campsites in 2022 and will certainly see a ton more in 2023!! Thanks for watching!
Best spot in my opinion I have seen for camp! Awesome place and trails just hard enough!
I agree the location was spectacular

thank you so much! I really enjoyed this trip. Matt is a great guy and knows the Ozarks like the back of his hand.
Fletcher and I enjoyed that video!
Thanks annette, glad you did!!
Brought your own firewood and the biggest offroad firepit I've ever seen 😅
Wait till you see one I just got!! Review will be coming and it has downside but .. wow what a firepit!
The raccoon montage had me cracking up!

Yeah it was weird seeing all the “creek crossings” completely dry!
Nice video. It's cool to see the Willys on the rugged terrain! Good shots!
Thanks Sterling!!
Beautiful location
still one of the best I've been at...
Great audio mix.
Thanks Jeff! And thanks for watching!
Great video. That spot was beautiful.
Thanks Mark! It really was spectacular
Great video buddy, camping by that stream/waterfall was insane, that bacon wrap chicken nearly came together 😂😂😂😂
Didn’t look great but it tasted amazing 😂.. thank you!

Helps to have a guide as you get your off road feet under you. Wheel Placement can be everything!!
@@aMAYSingLife definitely to both! I guide is everything when it comes to that kind of thing!
Enjoying your videos. I'm curious why the sides of the camper had so much slack when setup? Something didn't look right. Thanks

@@aMAYSingLife I'm thinking of buying some property in AR in the next couple of years, beautiful country.

Dang! When ya getting the disconnect? LOL Great edit!
Thanks Jason! Soon, actually have a buddy that has one he took off his old jeep.. it’s manual but it will work

I have to say I have never had the opportunity to eat in a stream either. thanks for watching!!

I'm headed to the Ozarks Thursday 9-29-02. Which trail is this?
Unfortunately since I was following Matt I didn’t record as he provides his tracks to his patreons and I didn’t want to take away from that
@@aMAYSingLife copy that. Unlike Colorado the Ozarks are easy to navigate. Good looking out for your guy. 👍
